Gameplay showcases the god-like Valorian Knights in action.
Today has been an exciting day for the whole team at Counterplay Games. We have been hard at work on our upcoming PlayStation 5 title, Godfall, and are ecstatic to have everyone see the first official PS5 gameplay at the The Future of Gaming digital event.
The trailer gives players a glimpse into the world of Aperion, weapon classes, a selection of Valorplates, as well as the fast-paced, melee combat that you can expect to enjoy in Godfall.
In Godfall, Aperion is on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that transform wielders into unstoppable masters of melee combat. Players will tear through foes as they climb through some of the elemental realms and challenge the mad-god Macros who awaits you at the top.
Players will be able to master five weapon classes, unlock various Valorplates through gameplay, level up and learn new skills, and choose to fight solo or alongside friends with three-player PvE online co-op play.
We have a lot more to show and talk about with Godfall, so keep your eyes open in the upcoming days to learn moreabout Valorplates, weapon classes, and more.
We’re still hard at work and can’t wait for players to experience Godfall when it makes its console debut on PS5 and launches on PC this holiday season.

What does that music have to do with the world you’ve created? It was so distracting I couldn’t even focus on the game.
It was pretty annoying.
I guess they thought it would be cool with those young peoples.
The ones they met in 2005.
I wouldn’t even mind it had they bothered to match the scenes up at least with the music. It’s like they just tacked it on for a quick youtube compilation
ok boomers.
Great game! Will def get a day one buy. Would also love to be able to use Trishula, Nunchucks, Sickles … different unique weapons.
Wish to see more about this game. The way I see it so far is that its a hack and slash game is that right ? if so I am totally into that.
The video editing matched the music so well, that probably for first time I liked the urban music overlayed on top of fantasy gameplay trailer. I wouldn’t want the game soundtrack to have that music, but for the trailer it was well done while showing off frenetic gameplay.
