Another collection of excellent games joins PlayStation Plus this month, and you’ve come to the right place for details!
Starting things off on PS4 is Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee — New ‘n’ Tasty! This side-scrolling adventure reboots the PlayStation classic with new visuals, new sound, enhanced controls, and even more dark humor than before. Also coming to the PS4 lineup is Valiant Hearts: The Great War. This colorful puzzle game carries with it a heavy subject matter, as it follows four intersecting lives (and a loyal canine companion) during the first World War.
On PS3, gamers with PS Plus can download the critically-acclaimed Papo & Yo, alongside the wit-inducing Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments. And on PS Vita, watch out for OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood and CounterSpy.
These games will be available for Plus members when PlayStation Store updates later today.

When I bought the free games the store accidentally had me pay ten dollars for Papo & Yo when it was free and now its gone from the Playstation Plus free games list.

Absolute trash YET AGAIN. I want some REAL games sony, enough with this crappy indie game kick. REAL GAMES. Infamous Second Son, Killzone Shadow Fall. Again: REAL GAMES.
Hah, it seems like Sony is content to just pumping out the indie games at this point. And of course we will have the requisite “but it’s free” rhetoric pumped out by the sheep. I get that these are GOOD indie games, but some of us just have zero interest in indie titles.
I understand that they have to limit what they give us for free to a certain extent, but I would rather see one game a month if we could just get a quality game every once in awhile. I’m not talking about them giving us some AAA title that just came out, but I preferred when we got 2 year old titles for PS3 and 1 indie title on PS4 (since there wasn’t much to give us on PS4 anyways). Giving us two crappy titles on PS4 seems to have really limited the budget they have to stretch on other titles.
Those of you who are patting Sony on the back and saying to everyone else, “what do you expect??”, I expect quality like we saw a year, or two years ago when everyone was excited about IGC. Now it is usually ever 3 or 4 months between titles that I actually care about. The changes in IGC and quality have gone way downhill and you tards who keep saying you are ok with it are the reason why they keep it up.
What an awesome selection. I’m always grateful, but this is definitely one of the best months in a while, in my opinion.

Even the PS3 games this month are terrible, it’s like you’re TRYING to give us nothing but crap games. Get it together Sony, we want REAL games, GOOD games. Not the trash you keep shoveling us.
Papo & Yo aren’t showing for free right now. This needs to either be fixed in the store or taken off the list.
Valiant Hearts is absolutely fantastic, one of the best games I’ve ever played. I was almost in tears several times. I’m glad all the PS Plus folks get to enjoy it.
And once again people seem to forget that the store isn’t fully updated until the Playstation Store Update post goes up. If you’re checking now for things, you may find that they’re not free yet, or not on sale yet, or whatever.
Wait until the store update is published at 5, THEN go get stuff.

Not going to lie, I was expecting at least 1 bigger title. I won’t say it’s worse than what MS because PS+ already offered 2 of them and we’re getting a pretty cool sounding TV series, but that shouldn’t have bearing on a game collection.
Forgot to ass but someone asked if Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty would be free when it is released on PS3 and PS Vita if it ever will be. It will be released and it will be free (as long as you still have PlayStation Plus of course).

Sony I love you but can you please give some AAA games on PS4, its making me regret selling my PS3 for a PS4 if the is the line up.
Please put more ps1 and psp games on sale. Those recent developer sales were great because we got some older titles that hardly ever go on sale. Would love to see sales on games like Valkyria chronicles 2, ZHP unlosing ranger, parasite eve, wild arms xf.

Really disappointed. Please stop filling up the IGC line ups with those “cute but crappy” indie games. The competition has been investing a lot more than Sony on the quality of their freebies. Instead of 4 mediocre games, 2 awesome games would have been much better.

Papo & Yo isn’t showing up for me in the “Free Games” PS+ section of the Playstation Store website. It’s showing up as $9.99. Only CounterSpy and Sherlocke Holmes: Crimes and Punishments are showing up there for PS3.

Also, why do people care about the delay? The games are still coming out on time. That’s like complaining that you don’t know what you’re getting for Christmas until December 25th.

Wow….I mean I know SCEA doesn’t care about the Vita but c’mon guys. Some of us use it more than our PS3/4 combined. The main reason I have PS+ is FOR THE VITA.
Sorry if it sounds like I am complaining but the system deserves much more than you are giving it. Two terrible indies is just an insult. Drop PS+ games for Vita if this is how it’s going to be. That way you can’t let people down at least.
Well I already have Valiants Hearts so from these games I will only grab Counter Spy
But sincerely I prefer Xbox Gold lineup this month with 3 AAA games

As for the lineup, it’s not bad (for me at least).
I’ll give Oddworld a shot on my PS3 if the cross-buy deal holds up after the actual PS3 release.
Already have Papo & Yo from a super-cheap sale quite a while back. Great game. A bit on the easy side but that can be a good thing for people with kids and/or those who just like easy games now and then. Plus it’s 3D, which should at least take it off the list of “crappy 2D indie platformers” and put it on the list of “okay-ish 3D indie platformers” where it belongs.
I may try Sherlock for a change of pace. Same with CounterSpy.
Now I can see why you waited for so long. No point in postponing the inevitable. Silly me; I actually thought you had some great games in store for us after all this build-up and delay.

I have to keep PS+ since I am buying a PS4 next week, but if it were not absolutely required to have, I likely would not renew when my subscription runs out. Could not be more sick of games that were already released as part of a Humble Bundle, or ANY indie game from ANY developer. Just stop. I’d rather go a full month with zero new games than to have even one more terrible indie game foisted off on us, as if that’s what anyone actually buys a next-gen console for.
NO ONE is buying a PS4 to play Oddworld.

Valiant Hearts is the only game I’m slightly interested in. No big deal though because I buy the retail games I really want to play. This line up again is why I very seldom buy a digital only game unless it’s extremely cheap.

VERY disappointing, This is the time to show PS3 great games, it is almost the finish line, Vita was once again left behind with awful games. Not cool, and the competition is way ahead this month. Come on Sony, you can do better than this, where are the weekly discounts?
Heaven’s sake, how are people excited about these game? You all must be fake and or terribad noobs to THANK for these side scrolling puzzle games every month. It’s unplayable and not even worth the download. Please Playstation, release something a GAMER can play! Unless this is the reality of console gaming, then I should see myself out peacefully.

I have noticed that there is a lack of JRPGs on ps plus. The majority of the games this month are super niche titles. After the delayed announcement you would expect something amazing like an actual triple A PS4 game, not a sub par remake of a ps1 game. If you are going to give people a PS1 game, give something good like Chrono Cross, or FF9. Oddworld, and Sherlock are way to niche. Why not release some good ps3 Jrpgs, like a tales game, or mugen souls, hyperdemension neptunia on vita.
