Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.

Good to hear that Sony is taking an even greater initiative in courting third-parties. As for which third-party games i’d like to see on new and existing PlayStation platforms, the list is rather short: The Agent for PS4, and
Titanfall, which to be honest I already expect on the PS4.
Final Fantasy Type-0 to vita (Game hasn’t released in the west, so you might get big sales and push some hardware hopefully)
Demon Souls vita (You own the IP so it shouldn’t be hard to port the game to vita).
Ni No Kuni vita (Loved the ps3 version, would buy it again for psvita)

In many respects, compared to other mobile devices at the moment the Vita is a missed opportunity. Sub par browser to phones and minimal applications that really take advantage of the fantastic hardware and all the types of inputs.
I see games coming, what about more streaming options? The movies and music streaming from local computers were a VERY welcome addition, any chance of upnp or media servers streaming like the PS3?. What about a Hulu or Amazon instant video options? this one is pushing it – but what about a boot into Android mode? enable this and you have all these options already created, not to mentions the PlayStation android app.
Options like this to make the vita the only item you need to carry around with you would add value and make it more attractive to potential buyers.
The Vita is a fantastic piece of hardware with so much potential I just feel sometimes the software needs a little more to take full advantage compared to other mobile devices on the market today.

Shenmue needs to be brought back; it was one of the most iconic games to come from the Dreamcast. Pretty please work with Yu Suzuki on a sequel or a HD remake?
I’d actually love to see a console version of Amnesia the Dark Descent ported to next gen platforms. It’s a great horror experience that console gamers have missed out on. The developer, Frictional Studios, has said that they have no interest at the moment in bringing it to console, but I think some outreach and facilitation – maybe a different studio assisting with port – could change that. Maybe? Possibly?

– Hatsune Miku Project Diva f. PS3 is done so easy to port.
– Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix should be ported.

– Persona 4 Arena (or the next one).
– Okami HD. Great on the OLED and touch controls.

– Phoenix Wright HD was ported to iOS so I don’t see why not on Vita. (maybe even the rest of the series)
