Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.
I will share more with you as our adventures continue and new games are made available. In the meantime, let me know in the comments what you want to see on PlayStation (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). I’d like to see Shenmue 1 and 2 HD as well as a third with ending on PS4.
I’d also like to see a Dino Crisis reboot with Regina on PS4. I don’t have much faith in Capcom to do it right though so lets have Sony buy the IP from them and have one of their more capable first or second party studios handle it.
I’d love to see you guys partner up with Epic Games to bring their new games to the ps4. Also would like to see a lot more rpg ‘s on the console, ps3 was lacking a bit. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Anything on Vita that’s indie and suited to portable play is fantastic, definitely one of the consoles strong points. I’d love to see either Okami or Okamiden on Vita as well
Red Dead Redemption: New Austin Stories.
I forgot! I’ve been playing Civilisation V on my computer and thought that having something like that would be incredible on Vita, a turn based strategy, city-building game or something similar. Turn based is great for a five minute bus ride and Vita’s one of the few platforms where you can really pull off a title like that with the touchscreen! I’d love to see Civ appear in handheld form!

For the Vita, all of the recently announced ports and indie games sound wonderful, they really do and I anticipate buying a bunch of them when the become available. What the Vita needs are bigger exclusive games. Im on videogame website comment sections alot and thats the general concensous of what gamers want and what is holding them back from buying a vita. More first and third party games that can be found soley on the vita. The launch started so promising but has really slowed down. Flood this thing with must have games and the people will come and buy them. I just take this really personally because i love the vita. Its literally the handheld i have always wanted and its sad to see it struggling.

I think it’s pretty obvious that a huge portion of the vita community is voraciously hungry for a lot more RPG activity. Dragon’s Dogma, Dragon Age, Kingdoms of Amalur and Diablo III come to mind.
Oh. My. Dark. Lord. I know it isn’t the greatest game, but Diablo III would be ridiculous fun as a mobile option. If D3 gets a vita port, pardon my language, but I will lose my ****.

Help bring more Japanese games over to Vita. Phantasy Star Online 2, Tales of Hearts R and Tales of Innocence R and an HD port of FF Type 0 would be awesome. Vita is seriously getting burned in this regard. SEGA brought over only the PS3 version of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F and not the Vita version despite them being the same exact game. I can’t imagine it would cost them much to at least have done a digital only release for Vita. Makes no sense. Make them bring their games over!
