Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.

Maybe this team could partner up with, say, the XSEED team. The people there already do a great job at translating a lot of Japanese games. Sadly, a lot of the IPs they pick up only see a digital release outside of the US or simply don’t get localized at all in areas like the EU and Australia. If this Third party Production team could somehow reach out and help distribute those games outside of the US, I think the Playstation brand as a whole would benefit from it. Having the ability to import a game is one thing, but not being able to buy a product locally might turn off some people who would otherwise be interested.
Also, the Japanese are starting to put out a lot of good stuff for the Vita, so if this studio could help ease things along as far as localization goes that’d be great for a lot of people. Seeing God Eater 2 in the west would be a dream come true.
I would absolutely love to see Elder Scrolls Oblivion come to the PS Vita. It is such a truly wonderful game and in my opinion better then Skyrim. It might give a good excuse to those that missed it when it was initially released on PS3 to go back and play it. Also, it would be pretty awesome to have Elder Scrolls Oblivion with me every where I go.
Torchlight 2 and an exclusive Infamous game on PS Vita would be awesome. And please bring Vita’s Tales of games and Phantasy Star Online 2 to US/EU. We sure need some jrpgs/action rpgs on Vita.

In general, I (and many others as well) want to see more localization. We understand that i can be quite risky and expensive, but there definitely is a market for things like VNs in the west.

Bring back Crush, one of the best games released on the PSP.
The first thing I want to see is every PS3 game in the library directly ported for the Vita, and every PS2 and PS1 game configured to play on the Vita through Gaikai.
The second thing I want to see is all major AAA PC exclusive games from the past 10 years directly ported to the PS4.
And the biggest thing I want to see is third party new IP exclusivity and overall support for ALL PlayStation platforms, especially the Vita.
All Yakuza games missed so far. And Valkyria Chronicles 3.
HD remakes if possible and with cross-play (Yakuza 1&2 HD Edition on WiiU has it already designed so it’s just a question of porting it to PS3/Vita console pair). VC2&3 HD would also be nice to see.
At least as digital releases. It’s a must.

HECK, IF YOU COULD BRING CIVILIZATION 3 TO THE PS4 AND CALL IT CIVILIZATION PLAYSTATION (WHICH HAS A NICE RING TO IT) ME AND HALF MY FRIENDS WOULD PAY 60 BUCKS FOR IT AND THAT INCLUDES PEOPLE OVER 30.
It is really simple what we want:
-New Dissidia game! Even if it is just the old ones in HD, bring it to VITA!

-Put Kingdom Hearts and Crisis Core on PSN
-South Park and the Stick of Truth on Vita!!
-No More Crappy Vita Ports!! Seriously! Borderlands better run smooth!

There is plenty more you guys can do as you can probably see by all the other gamers on this list. My personal idea is to bring FTL to the PS3/PS4/Vita, BUT have it set up where the VITA is the controller. I could sink in so many days of my life rocking that game.
Final Fantasy Type 0 would be great, crisis core for vita wouldn’t be bad either….
GOOD ADVICE RIGHT HERE FROM A AGING GAMER
1. AGE OF EMPIRES,
2.SOME CLASSICS LIKE HUMAN ONSLAUGHT AND PHAROAH IN A BUNDLE PACK
3. ROME TOTAL WAR OR ANY OF THE TOTAL WAR SERIES.
4. CIVILIZATION (PROPERLY, NOT JUST REVOLUTION)
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY SONY GET IT TOGETHER MAKE A NEW CRASH BANDICOOT AND A MOUSE + KEYBOARD FOR THE PS4.
THIS WILL UNDOUBTEDLY BRING BACK MANY OLDER GAMERS AND IT WILL KEEP PEOPLE LIKE ME GAMING INTO MY 30’S
DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WOULD MAKE GAMING LESS OF A STIGMA AND COOL FOR OLDER PEOPLE LIKE THE WAY THE WII DID

If you guys still have good relations with Valve, it would be nice to see a port of Half-Life 2 and the Episodes to the Vita, along with some other singleplayer focused Valve games like the Portal games or the first Half-Life.
I would also like to see Final Fantasy Type-0.

Ni No Kuni on PSP and PS Vita would be cool (I don’t have Vita yet which is why I included PSP, I have that). All five Suikoden games (Well the US games that came out, I think there were others that never came to America) on an HD collection for PS3, Vita and PS4 (preferably a physical copy AND digital, but not digital only). I say PS3 because it will be over a year or two AFTER it’s release for me to get a PS4. I am bound to have a job by then.
Since Nintendo or Capcom’s not doing it, hit up Capcom and get Mega Man Legends 3 started back up on Vita.

Reach out to Firaxis and 2K Games about putting XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: Enemy Within on the Vita! It’s a perfect match for that system. If they can do it on iOS, they can *definitely* do it on Vita!
