  • This month…is fantastic, that is all I can say, great work Sony :D

  • Best update thus far. My 500 GB HDD is slowly dwindling this month. I am glad that I took advantage of the 12+3 promo. Thanks for the great work PlayStation staff!!!

  • @348 2) We’ll see. Too early to tell.

  • Morgan, Do you know anything about the transition to PS4 with PS+?

  • Quick question, I bought a card for the PS+ promo. Does that count towards the $50 promo you’re running or did I have to buy it on the PSN?

  • Thanks Morgan for the excellent updates!

  • I appreciate the vast selection of games of very different genre that US PS+ is offering, especially on titles that I would never buy otherwise, and would have never been able to try out the game.

But for this month, and this week, I gotta say the thing that got me most excited is not the free games coming out for IGC (though The Cave might be making me a bit giddy). I am more impressed with the deep discounts for the Vita anniversary sale.

More importantly, someone finally heard me and is giving us Wild A.R.M.S. for free!!!

These few reasons, and that $10 code I got for free, gave me enough reasons to love Sony again, and I just signed up for another 2 years. The first I subscribed right before the “Get $10 Back” promotion so I missed out on that one but at least I got the second year for $39.99 AND 3-months free! I am now a Plus subscriber till 2016.

  • @Look at reply to #65

  • Really pumped about Spec Ops and The Cave, kinda sad Tekken 6 isnt the ps3 version though. Ohwell.

A question about the PS+, I got it on amazon, so does that mean i’m not qualified for the spend $50 get $10 back?

    • It sounds like I’m afraid that Plus purchased from Amazon won’t count since the purchase was for a code from Amazon and didn’t use $$ from the SEN Wallet.

  • i think this is a better system, showing all the month once, in the other, exist so much especulation and that bring so much disappointment…

  • Thanks #358. That’s what I thought. /facepalm

  • PS Plus update for EU is way better than this…

  • So really, what I really want to really say is really that you guys really did a really good job with this month, really.

Keep up with this pace please and let’s beat the crap out of ‘that other paid service”.

    Also…

    @173 Well said. Well said.

    @260 LOL

@269 Me. And even with 1TB, I am seeing only 400GB left. I need to delete all those demos…

  • BEST. MONTH. EVER!!! i was considering buying almost all of these anyway!!!!

  • @USCCM

True, true, but hey, maybe this’ll be the change we wanted for good. No more disasters like… Foosball, lol…. And since SCEA spends their budget more on discounts than the IGC this is a really great update.

  • This is perfect. I love having a rough idea of what to look forward to during the month, but still have each Monday to look forward to to see exactly which free game it is that week as well as a few surprised like additional discounts and things.

And by the way, what an insane month! 4 free games for everyone, the Vita games sales, The Cave, Disgaea 3!? Never did I truly allow myself to believe that Disgaea 3 would be the free Vita game anytime soon. Just amazing.

  • Morgan and the Plus crew,

    a) love the choice of Spec Ops this month. Between this and Vanquish I am ecstatic the past few weeks;
    b) enjoy the monthly layout. Think part of the complaints from week to week is that it looks like not much is offered in a micro view versus a bit more macro view for the month.
    c) would like to see it rotate from ps3 one week to vita the next like I saw someone mention on the first couple of pages of comments instead of ps3 week 1 and 2 then vita game week 3 and 4 (obviously assuming there is enough on offer to do so).

Other than that great work this month with the great free games and sales and also the 10 dollar for 50 spent bonus.

  • Beautiful update. Great games, great time to be a playstation owner. Plus has more than payed for itself, especially with my vita! I LOVE the monthly updates… please keep it this way.

  • @SliK6SiK , that is usually the norm until the store is back up around 10 pm or even later tonight.

  • @330 ….I know it’s not on PS3 in the Store but it should be… Same with all Fighting games should have a Digital Copy in the PS Store for PS3…If so i would so Rebuy all my fighting games in Digital Format! And yes i always buy the game disc’s when they first come out… But i like Digital Copy’s also for a Good Low Price… And not having to change the disc out everytime i want to play a different game… Oh Yeah!

  • Wilgar-and-Birdy

Disgaea 3 for free is madness. I bought my copy the same day I got my Vita. Turn based strategy lovers prepare to spend 100+ hours with your vita. Looking forward to playing Tekken on the go.

  • Just renewed my subscription till 2015. Decent update, Thanks PS plus =)

  • @364 I have a 160GB atm. Have yet to get a bigger hdd, but I’m lazy.

  • Nobody likes talking to me on here it seems Dx

  • Great Update Guys!!! Very excited to see a great SJRPG there!! I Highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the series or of Final Fantasy Tactics!! I have the PS3 Disgaea 3, and the vita version if I remember comes with all of the ps3 dlc for free! Very excited! Thanks for plus!

  • This will be my first month as a PlayStation Plus member as I just subscribed last week (I could not resist the extra 3 months and $10 back combo deal), and it looks like I picked a great time to do it. Wow! Feels like I got my money’s worth already.

  • Morgan, many thanks for the great content provided, I have been telling all my coworkers and friends that PS+ is the best deal BY FAR when it comes to console based memberships. You all rock many thanks looking forward to more content in the months ahead.

  • @377 Pay attention to the current Plus games, those might leave eventually.

  • any new update on the release for Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault For PS VITA?? Yet

  • TROLLFACE_GAMER9

Still waiting for mass effect 3 ,sleeping dogs or DOA5. Still not convinced that i should keep being a member.

  • For the record, my personal perception about the increase in + quality offerings has NOTHING to do with monthly vs weekly updates and EVERYthing to do with the game selection. Still not on par with EU+ quality, but definitely improving and hopefully continuing to head in the right direction. I already have Spec Ops, but I don’t care because I still see it as improved game quality selection (NOT Batman AC or Sleeping Dogs within < a year of release quality, but getting better!).

  • Excellent month, great games, i hope next month we can receive more of this :)

  • what going to happen with the disscount of Play Station All Stars Battle Royale?

  • I really like the monthly format. That should definitely be a keeper.

And I absolutely love the attention the Vita has been getting! A second week of discounts and free PSP games!? I’m so in.

    It’s a good thing there isn’t a cap on the $10 for 50$ promo!!!

  • I’d just like to say “Yay!” I’m all out of disposable income right now but have been so excited to check out the Heart-of-Darknessy goodness of Spec Ops: The Line and the Double-Finetasticness of The Cave.

Thank you thank you thank you!

  • Best update in a long time. I also appreciate the month preview post format.

  • Man… I wish I lived in Europe.. Oh wait. No I don’t. This is more great stuff. I bought The Cave already, and I would gladly do so again even if it was offered for free. It was a game I was always going to buy and I’d feel wrong if I got it for free. It was fantastic and one of the best games I’ve played in a long time.

But my question is, is there going to be a week 3 to the Vita sale? I need to know how this is going to effect my budget.

And a tip for everyone with a Vita: Just pony up the dough and get the 32gb card. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s so worth it.

  • store undergoing maintenance WTF i need to buy PS+

  • ikissedmygrandpa

I teach 7th grade science at private school here in San Bernardino,CA. I’m avid PS Plus supporter and actually will give extra credit to kids who sign up for the PS Plus program…I think alot of new kids will be getting extra credit this month once I show them the update! Great job,Sony!

    • that…seems…kinda wrong. You should be giving PS Plus memberships to kids who over achieve on school work! =|

  • Morgan, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free next month, make it happen. I KNOW YOU CAN.

  • Awesome, what a great month. I’ve super excited for Spec Ops and The Cave. I don’t know much about Joe Danger but I’ll try it out and see how it is. Thanks Morgan!

  • Amazing! I love PS+

  • @ ZaGe-zAiKaNo: Thanks for the info! I better go get my psn card right now, I spent all I have buying my 1 year subs XD I must buy Dokuro+Escape plan =)

  • This is great. And we get more stuff next week?

When I get to the end: damn, that is some amazing content!

    Thanks for an awesome update.

  • i’ve got a question about the PS Vita Anniversary Sale Week 2 is the stuff that’s on discount only going be on sale this week?

  • I’m excited about the three PS3 games in line for Plus this month. I’m a very proud Plus member and have been since about 3 months after launch. I have passed on the great deals and savings Plus members get, by word of mouth, and have gotten several people to sign up. I even converted a few of my xbox friends. They’re all hooked. Loyal since PS1 and I’m not going anywhere. Keep it rollin Sony!!!

  • WHERE IN THE HOLY “H” “E” double hockey sticks is SLEEPING DOGS for crying out loud!!!????? Oh! Joe Danger 2…well….I guess I’ll let it slide just this once!!!! But it better be happening soon! GRRRR!!!
