We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!
This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
All PlayStation Network customers can select two PS3 games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.

- Wipeout HD + Fury
For PSP owners, you will be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list. The games will be available for 30 days shortly after PlayStation Store is restored and can be kept forever.
- LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
- ModNation Racers
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
- A selection of “On Us” rental movie titles will be available to PlayStation Network customers over one weekend, where Video Service is available. Those titles will be announced soon.
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.
- Existing Music Unlimited Premium Trial subscription members will receive an additional 30 days of free premium subscription.
- Additional 30 days + time lost for existing members of Music Unlimited Premium/Basic subscription free of charge for existing Premium/Basic members.
- To welcome users Home, PlayStation Home will be offering 100 free virtual items. Additional free content will be released soon, including the next addition to the Home Mansion personal space, and Ooblag’s Alien Casino, an exclusive game.

Usually when you want to welcome back someone, you ask them to choose the game , not choose them yourself. EVERYTHING the are offering is free to them, and advertising, this is what Sony thinks are loyalty is worth , a few out of date , downloadable games , to maybe spark a interest in the brand new version of the games just released. MANY , many people feel the same, you should be doing anything to brainwash us to be so happy to never leave Sony products . Nothing would have been better, because this is offending , and made thigs wors. Again if this is how a person feels naturally …then its not welcoming. You have millions of customers….and look 5, ooo comments. Who does your marketing ? Wow… Best of luck to you …I hope you improve this package, let us choose our game … if its about us , not you .

Although I appreciate the extra 30 days of PS+ access, I feel somewhat penalized for being a faithful customer since I have already purchased the games.

(to dude who said were being brain washed) are they brain washing us? no! So dude calm down if they give us any free game they would go to jail because they dont own the rights to most ps games. If they some how gave us free new games they might loose tons of money and all it would take for x-box to finish ps would be any big hit of any thing like x-box live free cards then that nice ps3 system or psp you have would be basicly usless for good gaming and you would have wasted your money! so no there not brain washing us there just giving us everything they could posibly offer with reason and more.

I was curious if the games would only be made available for download from the store or if there was a way to get them as discs instead?

i already have all of those games so this sucks for me what about us the people you already have those games how is that fair to us we should get offered something else or they should have at least checked to see if anyone already owned all of them dont get me wrong the offer is nice but worthless to me thanks for nothing

Here’s the thing, Sony can only offer 1st party games, or games that the developers and publishers give them the OK to offer. They can’t offer just anything without paying a ton of royalties or money to other publishers and developers.
What they managed to secure is what they were capable of making a deal for. It’s not like they can just say;
“Pick and download any game you want.”
If they do that, they’re costing hundreds of companies a bunch of money. Over 77 Million people each picking their own game.. that’s just unrealistic in the realm of business.
i have one question… how do you download it? i searched through every thing on the ps3 options and i couldnt find a single thing that even mentioned the free games to download
Sigh.. thanks for nothing, Sony. I already have all those games. The best customers get nothing. Why not just give out PSN Store credit, geez.

i know and its cool i just figured i would vent a bit im still going to buy stuff and love my ps3 i have a card right now actually been waiting sence the outage to get dungeon hunter i got my card the day after the outage before i knew it wasnt comming back on for a while it just sucks that everyone is getting free stuff that i paid for and i get a stupid 30 days of plus and you dont get to keep the free games from that i will just rock them for the trophies but thats fun for a few days there has really been nothing good on plus sence it was interduced i had it for awhile a decided to let it lapse because i dont think its worth the money for games that arnt that fun just wanted to get my two cents in is all

I understand why people might be frustrated but they need to understand that Sony can only so much. As far as identity theft goes, everyone received an email from Sony to get protection from that from happening. And I believe as a free service.
Giving cash is an outrageous idea because how is Sony gonna get the funding for that? People need to understand that money does have to come from somewhere. They cant just pop it in your wallet and call it a day.
If you have those games from the list, then trade your games for store credit or something lol

Sony doesn’t need to give us anything because we’re not even paying for online. An unfortunate incident happened and they’re trying to rectify the matter. Giving stuff out is an extra bonus so people should be grateful instead of [DELETED] about what they should be getting or deserve for their time lost. Instead of being [DELETED] at Sony, we should be [DELETED] at the [DELETED] that hacked the system in the first place.
I know its a old post but I have a question.
I have two accounts, one for me (Main one.) and a sub account for my nieces. We all use my PS3, but because they learned about this, they want to get some of the games. I told them they prob can’t since it’s the same system.
Will they be able to get some games too? Or will I only be able to?
