It’s time! Cast your vote in the Players’ Choice poll for September and help decide the best new game of September 2018. Marvel’s Spider-Man is an obvious nominee, but we’ve got lots of other great picks this month too — Hollow Knight, FIFA 19, The Gardens Between, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Transference… what’s your pick?
What is the voting criteria? That’s up to you! If you were only able to recommend one new release to a friend that month, which would it be? In keeping with our long tradition in the Game of the Year Awards, remastered or re-released games won’t qualify. Ambitious, larger-scale rebuilds and remakes like Shadow of the Colossus and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will.
How are nominees decided? The PlayStation.Blog and PlayStation Store editorial teams will gather a list of that month’s most noteworthy releases and use it to seed the poll. Write-in votes will be accepted.
MJ and also Miles Morales. I know we will be receiving the DLC that will be coming in three parts this upcoming month of October 23rd. “The City That Never Sleeps.” The first chapter, “The Heist” I’m really curious, but hyped to see what is next for Spider-Man and how he is going to take part alongside Black Cat on this next quest we will be able to experience and how he is going to do things in that chapter. I’ll be rapping it up here by saying thank you to Marvel for getting alongside with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac for creating this awesome game they developed for us Spider fans, we hope to see more content in the near future besides the three part DLC. Have a good and positive day. Keep saving those innocent pedestrian life’s from thugs on the streets this was Gerrinical, I wish you all gamers the best.
Marvels: Spider-Man, is by far the best superhero solo game I’ve played in awhile. I was impressed with the graphics and how everything was connected together with the character; Peter Parker/Spider-Man and others around him for instance, MJ and Miles Morales. The story line was absolutely spectacular and beautiful! I loved how there was love, drama, thriller, suspense, and more between the characters. The developers really put their heart and love into this game, the player can tell right away when a game is done with no love, patience, and precision. This game had all three genres and I’m glad I was able to experience that journey, and will still continue to experience that along the way. I hope that Insomniac can continue the story line and relationship between Peter,
Definitely Spider-Man
Because Tomb Raider didn’t gain my interest as much as Spider-Man
I prefer Shadow of the Tomb Raider to Spider-Man. It’s the explorer in me.
