Brace yourselves, people! We have another great lineup of games coming to PlayStation Plus this month. With shooters, puzzle games, platformers, and more, we have a little something for everyone this April.
To start things off, allow us to present Tower of Guns on PS4 and PS3. It’s about a tower filled with guns. And so much more! Shooter fans, prepare for an adrenaline-pounding challenge through a randomized tower with enemies, bosses, power-ups, and little robots that just want to hug you. Also on PS4, explore the Alaskan wilderness with Never Alone, a beautiful puzzle game with an adorable pet fox. Guide a native Alaskan girl through harsh environments in a touching effort to save her village.
For Plus members gaming on PS3, look out for Dishonored, the critically acclaimed stealth game that celebrates player choice above all else. Also in the mix is Aaru’s Awakening, a stunning platformer that’s also available on PS4. And for PS Vita, both Killzone Mercenary and MonsterBag are joining the Plus lineup this month.

Players take control of Corvo Attano, a bodyguard framed for murder and imbued with powerful abilities to seek revenge. This game is all about player choice, and feeling awesome while executing extreme stealth maneuvers.
Aaru’s Awakening (PS3, PS4)

What started as a school project for a team of students in Iceland is now a gorgeous platformer about navigating treacherous terrain with well-timed teleports.
Killzone Mercenary (PS Vita)

Another month of bad games for ps4 it seems ps3 get better games each month
I can’t believe all the complaints. PS Plus does an awesome job with the free games. I’ve discovered some of my all time favorites this way…don’t starve, binding of isaac, road not taken. Indie, but so what. Can’t expect them to give away games like shadow of more or that hasn’t been out long enough to give away. I cannot wait for tower of guns and never alone. Such awesome games… Olli world was awesome too btw

What a load of rubbish…..Yet another disappointing month on ps plus. PS4 has been out 18months now and we are still getting disappointing kids crappy games that wouldn’t even please a 2yr old. If we keep getting crap like this month in month out then im going back to xbox….this is a load of crap

I only need a few games for this subscription to fulfill my needs, and although last year there were some nice games for PS Vita like Virtue’s last reward etc i’m still waiting on something that appeals to me. I know there are a lot of people that like FPS games but i’m not one of them so this month ill mostly be looking at never alone. Hope theres a good game coming that’ll surprise me this year.
I can understand PS4 games are still a bit meh since you can hardly release them on ps plus when they were just released in 2015. It would be more interesting if I could play these PS3 Playstation plus games on my PS4 since I don’t want to boot up my ps3 that much anymore (it’s getting slow and i dont have a lot of space left = its a hassle).
How i can get the Killzone Mercenary on my PS Vita? I am a menber o PS Plus, but its my first time trying to get a game for free. Can anyone help me? Tks
Over all good list of free games this month, for Both the PS3 and Vita, PS4 on the other hand, yet another handful of bleh.
Either way, they’re free, and I will be adding them to library, but come on Sony, how about a REAL game for us PS4 owners.
For some reason i can’t get killzone on my vita for free…. i have ps plus but when i search the game it says i need to pay. and going into the ps plus section of the store, it doesn’t show up at all there…. any suggestions?

Can you make better ps4 games like third person shooters
Disappointed about the line-up of free ps4 PlayStation plus games. If you play multiplayer games it is the only reason to get a plus membership, i don’t play multiplayer games so the membership is not worth waiting for free games every month. “So therefore I will not renew my plus membership until they put out some good games.”
Dont know alot about tower of guns but it looks alright so thats cool. How about a older final fantasy for ps4 plus members lol just saying. But yall do do us right though so good looking out!

these last few months have been a total waste. when plus runs out, I wont be getting it until there is a game to coop play, cause you need to for PS4 which is lame.
killzone is actually the only one i have so far, and while that seems to be a problem for some, the rest of the line-up looks pretty good to me. i’ve been eyeing never alone for a while. the only one that looks a little lackluster to me is tower of guns. but if it has clements’ stamp of approval i’m interested. by the way, how could anyone express anger on here when they know the person reading it is powerhouse, the sweetest man who’s ever lived?
Why are the free ps4 games so much worse than the ps3 games?
I ask the same question to myself about the games by month after month..
Arg..everytime I buy a few games that are on sale they end up free within the next month on ps plus…maybe i shouldn’t buy anymore sale games since they have all ended up free within a month or two :P thanks anyways guys.

The PS4 lineup has been awful since day 1. I’m paying basically for games that I would never regularly buy. What about games like infamous 2 or Assassins Creed? PS3 is dropping full titles every month but in typical Sony fashion, it’s not backwards compatible but you can RENT ps3 games that should be free for PS Plus members. The PS4 owners still getting the shaft on Plus. 3 more games that I will never play, or I’ll download them, play them once and they will sit collecting digital dust.

I am regretting my decision to make the switch from XBox this gen, i am being forced to pay a subscription that gives me NOTHING in return… give us one decent game on PS4!

its not free and neither is online, I bought 60 dollars worth of online to play bloodborne because I was forced to buy the 400 dollar console and 60 dollars worth of online to play it when I could have just bought it on pc and saved 460 dollars. and I get this terrible indie slop games that aren’t even worth being played if I was paid too? that’s garbage, I’m going to say its garbage, and not even bother downloading any of it.

I like this line up. I am eager to try out most of the games like Tower of Guns and Aaru’s Awakening. They seem interesting and I have been wanting to open my mind to see if there is more games that I may like. I am also going to get a Vita sometime within the next few weeks so I am happy about Killzone Mercenary since I really like the Killzone series.
I am excited and apparently that puts me in the minority.
There are $20 AAA title games. Prices on last of us, killzone, infamouse are 20 or below right now, except on psn store. These are some example and they are same price as some top indie games
I’m really glad my PS+ subscription was gifted to me, or I’d be pretty mad at this other wise. PS4 is just going to keep getting the shaft every month huh? I only used my PS4 for the offline games for awhile, once my PS+ subscription runs out, it’s going to be that way again, after all, I can play most of those games on PC without having to pay for a subscription and don’t have to deal with the dissapointment of “PS3 gets [insert major AAA title here] this month and PS4 gets [insert indie game you’ve never heard of].

again… Feeling flat about the PS4 games. I understand there is a smaller selection of available games… But really Sony should be bending over backwards to support the current gen of gamers (especially when several of them are first timers coming over from XB). I’ve been with Sony since the first PS.. and I really want content for my shiny new PS4.. Not the Netflix server that is my PS3

Another major disappointment for PS4… I wish I had $5 added to my Wallet than some random crap every month. It’s insulting! Especially if you compare it to the PS3 lineup.
Never Alone is a very nice game. I am so happy to have it in the lineup. But sad again because KZ Shadowfall and Driver Club PS Plus Edition still not included :(
Definitely feel like we need better quality games. Like I rock with the indie games from time to time but it’s like c’mon fam. Give us some heat. Injustice was nice, transistor was dope, dust was pretty good too and adding oddworld was a nice move. Like I don’t know what you guys have to go through on the business side to put these games out for free but don’t indie us to death. Show us some love yo. Give us Somethin to make us say “damn I’m glad I chose the ps4 over the competition”.

Is it just me… or is PSN getting late with PS+ games. Its already April 7th, and still listing March games. And also, when I’m already a PS+ member, why is my account listing PS+ subscription prices, telling me to sign up? I’m a dedicated PS user, and never usually complain, but it just seems services have been getting worse and worse over the past months.
The Plus games are available starting the first Tuesday of each month. This month that happens to be the 7th, which accounts for what seems like a longer wait than usual.
As with all other new content and sale prices, the new Plus games will drop when the store updates later today. They may be available sooner or later depending on where you live, but the store team generally tries to have it all ready by 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern.
This applies to NA region only. Other regions have their own stores with corresponding blogs. For example, the EU store updates on Wednesday.

so where is Killzone and Tower of Guns? Killzone is listed for $35.99 instead of zero. Tower of Guns isn’t even listed in the games list. And it’s already April 7!!!
