Brace yourselves, people! We have another great lineup of games coming to PlayStation Plus this month. With shooters, puzzle games, platformers, and more, we have a little something for everyone this April.
To start things off, allow us to present Tower of Guns on PS4 and PS3. It’s about a tower filled with guns. And so much more! Shooter fans, prepare for an adrenaline-pounding challenge through a randomized tower with enemies, bosses, power-ups, and little robots that just want to hug you. Also on PS4, explore the Alaskan wilderness with Never Alone, a beautiful puzzle game with an adorable pet fox. Guide a native Alaskan girl through harsh environments in a touching effort to save her village.
For Plus members gaming on PS3, look out for Dishonored, the critically acclaimed stealth game that celebrates player choice above all else. Also in the mix is Aaru’s Awakening, a stunning platformer that’s also available on PS4. And for PS Vita, both Killzone Mercenary and MonsterBag are joining the Plus lineup this month.
These games will be free for PlayStation Plus members next week Tuesday when the PlayStation Store updates. Enjoy!

This beautiful puzzle adventure tasks you with guiding Nuna, a native Alaskan girl, through breath-taking environments to save her village. Also, you get to travel with a fox! Can’t get much better than a pet fox.

Players take control of Corvo Attano, a bodyguard framed for murder and imbued with powerful abilities to seek revenge. This game is all about player choice, and feeling awesome while executing extreme stealth maneuvers.
Aaru’s Awakening (PS3, PS4)

What started as a school project for a team of students in Iceland is now a gorgeous platformer about navigating treacherous terrain with well-timed teleports.
Killzone Mercenary (PS Vita)
Free for PS Plus members
View the iconic war against the Helghast from a mercenary’s point of view, and jump into a robust multiplayer mode to show how good (Or bad?) you actually are.
MonsterBag (PS Vita)

An adorable puzzle game about a bag-shaped monster named V trying to reach his friend Nia without scaring the pants off of people. May or may not include a battle of wits, skill, and the inevitable apocalypse.

Yea im kinda getting sick of just indie games for free on ps4, good offerings on ps3 and vita but cmon sony give us something worth while on PS4 soon! Tired of getting games I don’t wanna play
When I pay my rent on the seventh day of a month I get charged $100 extra. Maybe I should negotiate my next lease to have to pay by the first Tuesday of every month so I can have seven extra days some months to play PS3, because obviously there’s no point in booting a PS4 with PS Plus content.
This all sounds nice and lovely, but I have just one question:
What is the actual date they come out? (like DD/MM)
Yeah I have a problem with this my store still shows March’s games please fix this the lineup looks amazing!
Can we please move the store update time to like 12pm est? I don’t want to wait and furthermore it makes me not want to buy new games on launch if I have to wait until 5pm, then an hour or so for download/install by 6pm I don’t really want to start something new and stop halfway.
This is kind of BS. As much as I love PS4, we never get any free games. The most we get is online. Buying this system with PS+ was a waste of money, considering that none of the games that this console receives are worth it. To make things worse, PS3 and PSV get games worth 20$ to 30$. We get games that are worth probably 5$ to 10$. This just annoys me. I may as well sell my PS4 and get a PS3. Make more profit off the PS4.
i just went on the psn and its telling me never alone is 8 dollars i thought it was free? also i cant find the other game thats out as well and ps vita seems to have the same problem dont see any of the games yet

The gremlin in my soul is already laughing at the fact that next month’s games won’t release until the 5th of the month, so we’ll get to do this all over again.
But the nice guy in me realizes it’s not really your fault. It’s Sony’s for not telling you: First Tuesday of the month for new Plus games; store updates every Tuesday by ~2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern.
Ps4 always gets the short end of everything no real discounts crappy free game I’ve played them and they suck every month with the Sam crap diffrent graphics same boring stale gameplay I mean the ps4 should have better games you’d think all of the games are just for kids if it weren’t for online play I wouldn’t pay they should drop the price because we are not paying just play online but all of these so called exclusives
hi, I really don’t want to complain but the games still are not up yet, its now 5 after 5 here on the east coast. im usually very patient but im really looking forward to dishonored and I really don’t want to be up all night waiting for it to download. PLEASE HURRY, thank you from a loyal fan. ps i’ve had ps plus for a few years now, these bozos always complaining is really getting old, how about you guys look at the value you get from all the games we receive year long… really 50 a year for a few hundred worth of games, stop the whining, if you want AAA games so bad then go out and buy them.
Ok anyone have any idea of when the store is supposed to update because it’s past 5:00 est and the store still isn’t showing Aprils free games this is more than a slight agitation.

Over an hour since the store was supposed to update, and no sign of it. Are we slacking again? O.o
so… where are they? its 3pm on the 1st tuesday of the month and the free games still are not uploaded yet?! Geez sony is falling behind… our games usually upload no later than 2pm here in cali.
cant complain to much though go figure the month i dont have internet sony uploads good games… just my luck i guess, even though i dont believe in luck. Good thing we can add our free games to our library via the playstation store website through anything that has a browser lulz.
See, this is why I love Sony. Things like free games on PS Plus, trophies with different values (bronze-platinum, etc.) instead of achievement point number values, the PS Vita, which is almost like having a PS3 that fits in your pocket, and now KILLZONE FREAKING MERCENARY FOR FREE ON PS PLUS.
Sony wins my vote over Microsoft and Nintendo every time.

yea i agree with u on the platformers… they are kinda getn old and are all basically the same thing (run thru a sidescroll to get to the next level)
Tower of Guns looks like the best game on the list, and Killzone, unfortanetly i dont own a Vita anymore actually even if i did it wouldnt matter cuz that was like the 1st vita game i bought thru psn… and dishonored isnt bad i would run thru it again especially cuz its free haha… as for the other games when i get the chance i will most likely play them eventually …might as well since they are free… cant complain too much whrn something is free… even though i see paying 50 a year is mainly for the games and not so much for multiplayer (a service i concider to be and should be free)
6:30PM EST, the shop finally lists the update, but none of it is active. We can’t check out the sales and it still shows us last months free games. Way to go Sony.

that sucks u gotta wait til 630… guess it wotks though… i usually grab my games on my launch break and then DL them when i get off work. ..wish we had a feature thru the PSapp that allows us to start the DLs on our consoles thru the app.

I have a 12 month subscription to ps plus and on my screen it says I have to pay 8.99 for never alone and the other game isn’t even on the screen in my account settings it says my ps plus is active and I’ve renewed licenses and powered off system and turned it back on and it still says they same wack **** in the ps store can anyone help me out or what?

Never Alone on the add shows up as discounted for PS Plus members, go to the actual page and add to the cart it shows up as full price of 14.99. I thought this was this month’s Free game?

Not a great month. I like my PS4, I do, but the PS4 free games are always indie games. I get that PS4 doesn’t get many AAA games, but how about giving up the original launch titles? Yeah, I know you could argue everyone has them already, and I wouldn’t challenge that. We’re so starved for AAA content that we buy EVERY new game released because there’s just nothing else to play. But indies every single month is so disheartening. If I didn’t have a PS3 I’d drop my PS+ sub in a heartbeat.
I like some indie games, don’t get me wrong, but this is just getting boring now. For those saying people like me are “entitled”, you’re wrong. We pay for this service and part of the PS+ service is the monthly games. They aren’t free, we pay for them, but Sony is incredibly smart and brands them as “FREE” to twist consumer perception. Don’t lie to yourself. I love Sony as much as the next gamer, but they aren’t free, and the monthly indie drops is pathetic.
It sure would be nice if Sony chimed in here at least confirming they know about these issues.

Yeah cool, we ps4 players spend money on the ps4, on games, internet service provider and the subscrition of psn plus, just to be able to play online, and we allways have the less good free stuff, thanks for all the consideration and respect you have for the big money spending we are making..thanks for nothing, seriously.

Oooo… finally, free games. Too bad I can’t play them yet. Making the platinum of DriveClub my 11th Plat, and 1500th trophy.
So, I just played some Tower of Guns and by far is this the worst Plus game I’ve ever played.
Man, I just got a PS4 — Wondering when we’ll get something bigger than the PS4 digital only stuff…but anyway, PSN is always cool, and I still have my PS3 as well. :D
And my PS4 is INCREDIBLE.
Dishonored? Yay! I mistook thief for it last month was very disappointed :( but now that will be redeemed!
Another sad line up of arcade type games and no AAA making the list. This is why I don’t renew. Get ur act together and start offering up some real games Sony. Then I can justify paying for the membership.

Just wanted to say what some others seem to neglect. Thank you for the free games as well as many other promises and offers with Playstation plus, and the awesome content! I am always sad when I see people angry about stuff that they should honestly not take for granted. I have seen some people complain about how most of the offers for each month are “too small” or “Why not give better games”, just saying they are free games and Sony and its employees are being very kind to a large and sometimes neglecting community.
