Contact support regarding the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire game on the Flash Sale. Here on the blog it shows the Special Edition made by Deep Silver, but on the store shows the generic copy made my Ludia. The person I spoke with kept telling me that the blog doesn’t specify that it is the full version of the game at all so they are not at fault….Say what now? After quite some time of arguing back and forth and pretty much being called a liar over and over again, I asked for a refund for the add on pack (Movie Millionaire) as it was useless to me without the full game, which they don’t even sell on the PS Store. She told me she would try, but it cannot be guaranteed because all sales are final.
Lastly I asked her to at least edit the post on the blog to show the correct version being sold and she told me she couldn’t do it because it doesn’t actually state that it is the full version being sold and such is correct the way it is….again, what??!
So for anyone that did buy it….there’s the response you’ll pretty much get
@SlipMush: Sounds typical. Perhaps it’s smart business for them to be so sarcastic in posting the bare minimum of info about each item, but it’s not *good* business. They may lose your business and that of many others just to keep your lousy $0.90? Tell us what each item really is and we might buy *more*, not less. Imagine how many own the actual game and see the DLC listed for sale here. But they say, “Oh, I already have that game.” They don’t know it’s DLC because it’s not marked as such. This nonsense cuts both ways. Anyway thanks for warning others.
@Syphon Filter being free: It isn’t. It was for Plus members in 2010, but you’re out of luck if you didn’t grab it then. If you did, you wouldn’t be able to buy it at all on the same account if you still have Plus on that account.
Same goes for Pac-Man, Tokyo Jungle, etc. Pac-Man was free at some point in 2012, and Tokyo Jungle was never free to Plus. These are errors in the store. Nothing more. Very unlikely to be acknowledged, let alone fixed.
Got 10 Games. Might get more later but not to sure just yet. these $1 or Below are the best flash sales along with the triple A $5 full game flash sales we got once before. this is what im talking about yeaaa. keep at it.
I’d be willing to bet there are tons of people who would buy PS1/PS2 Classics for PS4 if they could. They might even pay more for them than they would on PS3/PS Vita. For example, $9.99/PS1 or $14.99/PS2 (vs. $5.99/PS1 or $9.99/PS2 currently on PS3/PS Vita for most titles).
Most of the PS1/PS2 games currently offered on PSN are not and never will be on PS Now, so that’s not a realistic solution. People want to play these games right now, and are willing to pay good money for them.
Maybe one day there will be PS3 Classics on PS4: games that look and play exactly as they did on PS3. Kinda like how my slim PS3 won’t play PS2 discs but will play PS2 Classics just fine.
I guess I may have to put some money in my account for Battlefront II. That one never goes on sale.
Please help! This is the last day of the sale, and I’m trying to confirm whether or not sim theme park will transfer to vita through content manager. It’s pstv compatible, so I’m not sure whether to trust a three year old lost saying it’s not. Thanks!
Splodem: got no idea since on the store page its pse/psp only
I was hoping somebody here owned it and had tried. Thanks.
not sure if i want it since its ps3/psp only
The min $5 thing kinda ruins this sale for me. Only one game I want and I don’t buy from the PSN store often.
Wish it was like other stores, like Steam, where there was no “minimum”.

What do you mean by this?
I just bought Surgeon Simulator for 91 cents on. No minimum. I will be buying more though.
SpooNManX: to use paypal it needs $5 minimum
dead nation apocalypse edition its 1.65$ not 0.90
I’ve had to put $5 min into my wallet for the last year or so now. Doesn’t matter if it was paypal or credit card.
No longer have a credit card so I can’t test that. PSN is the only place that has hit me with this “minimum funding amount” thing
and I find it sways me not to purchase much. (Though I do end up using it eventually for PS+, but I dont have much extra money to be throwing around like that.)

I see. I just keep my credit card linked to my SEN wallet.
Is it really that big of a deal to have a few bucks in your PSN account? You’ll probably use them eventually.
.89-.90 cents is a great deal. I just wish that the Playstation would bring Final Fantasy XII to the Vita. I would be sooooooo happy if that happens
I bought like 4-5 games on there. I just bought myself another 32gb memory card for my Vita. I have been playing YS: Memories of Celceta. Very awesome game.
Are these deals US only?
aaaand on a double check, yes they are, racists!
Picked up 12 games from this sale, and may get a few more before it ends tomorrow. Thanks again Sony!!
SpooNManX: with all the hacking/phising issues nit just with Sony I can understand why people don’t like leaving money on thier accounts
So nobody downloaded sim theme park and tried to get it onto their vita using content manager?
sloderman: how long u up till
If that was for me, I’ll be up for a while.
@Splodem where did you find Sim Theme park compatible with PSTV?
will try in a bit
Mega Man X5
Breath of Fire IV
Rock of Ages (0.45 btw)
Tokyo Jungle
echocrome
Gravity Rush
<$5 ?
Not sure what else I should get. Any recommendations?
Eyeing:
Poker Night 2
Star Wars BF2
Dino Crisis 1, 2
Twisted Metal
MMX4
Galaga DX
Zuma appears to be full price :/
1.This flash sale really points my main gripe with the ps4…there are only 4-5 games on sale for ps4.with dozens of good games for PS3….these games need to be made available…I want more PS1,PS2 tg16 saturn etc games made available for PS4,more cross buys…i am not big on the streaming via psnow…i want to be able to buy those type of games during these sales…. not everything needs to be full hd…i would much rather purchase a PS1 game on a PS4 than the games offered in this sale…in general i want more retro games released.
2. i would like to see an option to download movies not be forced to stream or be online to watch…
3. better music purchasing, storing ,offline playing options.
I do plan on buying a PS3 since i get games with my PSN account.but with how long the PS4 has been out i should HAVE TO buy a PS3,and a PS4 to get the gaming and movie, music options i am looking for…
@267 : I hope that was a joke. Race has NOTHING to do with it. You’re on the NORTH AMERICAN BLOG, pal…what do you want? In here EVERYTHING is FOR THAT REGION *ONLY*. It’s like bashing on the Canadian Goverment for giving free health care only to Canadians. Some people… >_>
@275 : – Poker Night 2 is only “useful” if you own (and play) Borderlands 2. Otherwise…it’s crap.
– If you own a PSP/Vita you should definitely buy SW: BF2. Online is dead…but the game is awesome anyway.
– Dino Crisis was boring for me even when it was “new”…so I can’t honestly recommend it. But if you like old school survival “horror”… be my guest.
– Back in the day Twisted Metal was really fun to play…and if you’re into racing games (the arcade/action ones) you should have a blast, at least for a while. And at that price… ;)
– If you ever played an arcade (you know, those huge machines with joysticks?) in your life you should ABSOLUTELY buy Galaga DX. Namco Bandai did to Galaga exactly what they did to Pac-man…and that is sweet! =)
@277 : That’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen. You want to be able to play TG16 & Saturn games on your PS4!?? o.O
“there are only 4-5 games on sale for ps4.with dozens of good games for PS3”
Umm…let’s see…
PS3 = Almost 10 YEARS of very rich history
PS4 = ONLY 17 MONTHS (of which the first 6-8 where almost non-existent)
Got the picture? >_>
@273
I don’t remember where, but while searching for vita compatibility, I came across a list that mentiond it for pstv compatibility. Neogaf maybe?
@Sploderm bought the game and it isn’t compatible with PSTV.. I guess that answers your question too.
Fuuuudge! I’m gonna get it anyways. Thank you.
I came here with very wishful thinking i would get a steal here…. unfortunately I own a PS4. Maybe a 9.99 sale for PS4?
Bit of a joke if you ask me, almost nothing for choices for ps4 platform.
And 3 years later, any way to pay At&t to unlock my PS Vita :( ?
Hm, Dead Nation (vita + ps3 version) + Gravity Rush + Home + Katamary + Megaman X4 & 5 + Tokyo Jungle for me ;) Battlefront 2 on my Vita is a nice choice but still haven’t decided yet.
Nice sale. Sure wish I could join in, though. Anything for those unimportant people living outside the US?
The guys saying there’s nothing for PS4, what do you expect from a flash 1 dollar sale? You want some Killzone Shadowfall for a dollar? There are other sales with appropriate prices for the age/demand of the game
The guys complaining about it being US/North America only…….you’re on the US/North American Blog. That should have been your first clue. Find the blog for your region. Simple
So this isn’t the Telltale version of Game of Thrones? Great… I just wasted $.80.
Grabbed Tennis in the Face. Fun puzzler for less than a buck. Wish more ps4 choices but understandable since it’s still relatively new.
HELP! I buy Tennis in the Face for PS4 but is a demo version! I can´t update to full game from the store. Please help me!
I purchased a $ 15 Dead Nation when flash sale Hours
refund the difference plz
got mega man X 5 PS1 from flash sale

How the flipping flying monkey can I remove these darn PS+ RENTALS from my Account so that I can actually PURCHASE these games when they go on SALE?! I want every single PS+ RENTAL that I downloaded (before I realized they were RENTALS) removed from my Account. How can this be done?!
The sale is nice, But now can you PLEASE do something about the PSN store. Before it was slow and nearly impossible to navigate, but now It’s crashed my system like 5 times just trying to navigate through the sale page. I haven’t been in the store in months because of this horribly coded store and I’m quickly remembering WHY.
The payment processing server says that it’s undergoing maintenance. So I have all these games in my cart that I’d like to buy, but no way to purchase them.
If this continues through the end of the flash sale, will you be extending the sale?
@278
Do you american can’t understand sarcasm?
@288
You have to understand that Europe is neglected in comparison.
We never get great deals. Our sales are MAX -50% and for the oldest games. And that happens like once every 6 months.
But you get huge deals almost once a month :D.
So yeah, it is reasonable to be jealous :)
