This month we’ve got even more day and date releases into PlayStation Plus including The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on PS4, Frozen Synapse Prime on PS3 and the Hungry Horde on PS Vita. Our members will also receive the delightful Steamworld Dig on PS4, addictive Luftrausers on PS3 and charming Escape Plan on PS Vita.
Our PS4 members will discover what randomly generated evils lie in the basement in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, as well as dig for treasures below a western town populated by robots with Steamworld Dig. For PlayStation 3, our members will receive two types of shooters, Frozen Synapse Prime which requires a strategic mind, and the more arcade-y Luftrausers. i don’t expect AAA games, but i certainly expect better for ps3 owners. we choose plus, and my choice, is to not renew at the end of the month. the only thing ps3 has left, is not having to pay for it for online features.

@197. we’re not all so fortunate. time to get personal. i’ve had a back injury for 10yrs, have been unable to work the past few yrs because of it. had 2 surgeries, then another 2 discs went, along w/occipital neuralgia. thus, no one will hire me, and i have to live on a pittance from workers compensation. so yea, things are tight, and i’m not the only one in this position. you don’t seem to understand it’s tougher for some than it is for others. you’re one of these d-bags that seems to think it’s easy for everyone to make it if you work harder. i worked damn hard, used to make 40g a year, and it destroyed my body. now i make about 15g a year on comp. besides my gf, ps3 is the only thing i get enjoyment from in life. so yea, i expect a little better when i pay a little more.

Here is the overall issue with this months ps plus.
1) this strange delay in announcing when every other site had the info. This created confusion.
2) I personally LOVE the offerings this month. I really love the indie filled ps plus since I already buy the AAA games (bio shock and the Batman games are awesome BUT most players already purchased them). However, even though people are acting immature I understand their frustration. Ps plus has offered a retail game every month for about 2 years straight. They set up the expectation that at least PS3 gets a retail release every month.
Please is you are upset try and make your points in an intelligent manner. You have every right to be frustrated and should be able to voice critiques of a service you pay for but please do it in a civilized way.
Also don’t judge a game based on its graphics or budget. The indie revolution is the best thing to happen to gaming in a long time.

Horrible horrible line up what is sony doing with our money for plus members with more people joining from the forced paywall to pay online we now have more money in the pool to cut a check to the publishers to make games free for a limited time. When taking pennies out of each persons 50 dollar sub it seems like to me sony is putting more money in there pocket and giving is less quality indie titles instead of full ps4 and PS3 and vita games I don’t think its right and I regret subbing till 2018.
I’m Impressed with this month’s Update even though I own Escape Plan and Steam World Dig but Excited to try Luftrausers,Blinding of Iassac and The Hungry Horde I already own Driveclub. Disc version hopefully the online gets fixed soon.

Another pathetic set of games for the PS4… Greatness awaits you say? I say BS awaits. After the DriveClub hiatus last month I really did expect Sony to redeem themselves with a decent game. Instead we get the same indie garbage, as though nothing happened. I bought my PS4 and subscribed to PS+ considering I was going to get a full game out of it. A year has passed and I got nothing!
Just some facts for you ps+ people: There was an article 4 days ago stating ps plus has 7.9 million subscribers. For the sake of making it easy math let’s just say on average those subscribers pay $5 a month for the service. I personally am on the 3 month plan which costs me $6 a month. $5 x 7,900,000 = $39.5 million a month just from ps+. That’s enough money each month to produce a AAA game and what kind of garbage do they shovel us each month? Certainly not AAA titles or even close to that kind of quality.
Where is our ps+ money going ? With the lack of stability on the psn our money certainly hasn’t gone to bolstering the infrastructure of the online experience. Where is ps+ driveclub? The ps4 doesn’t even perform the same functions of it’s predecessor and since the ps4 was released sony has collected at least $400 million in ps+ subscription fees. Where is our money being spent? I don’t see it.

To add to the ps+ cash grab think about the timing of these free game releases and their quality. Next month when early adopters and 1 year ps+ subscriptions should be running out Sony will finally release a full retail ps4 game for ps+ users. This full retail release is a dangling carrot to get the people who bought a ps4 last year to re-up and buy another year of ps+ based on the “good free games in December”. Total bait and switch as in January til November those suckers will get nothing but indy garbage.
There are no excuses for this very weak PS3 lineup.
Really? The reason I convinced my self to go ahead and get a ps4 and pay for online multiplayer was that I would at least get a couple of cool free games each month. The only problem is the games you give are suck ass titles that need to be played on an Atari. Such a a disappointment. Should have kept my PS3
I pre-paid several years worth of plus on the expectation that we’d be getting at least a couple of AAA games every month. Now we are getting none. I’m feeling like there was a bait and switch and I was the fool. I’m not an online gamer so I don’t value PSPlus for anything but the games. Sony could have easily pulled out one of their old games (e.g. PS2 God of War games) out of the hat and added it to the list. I like several indie games a little, but I’m expecting meatier experiences as well. Hopefully, this isn’t the new norm.
If this continues, can I get a refund on my pre-paid PS subscriptions?

Last several months the PlayStation Plus offerings have pretty bad and are getting progressively worse. PlayStation Plus has been really awesome most of the time but it seems like since the change to the Instant Game collection & how you have to have it for PS4 online play that SONY just doesn’t care as much about what it offers. I really hope SONY starts putting up better games. I’m a gamer on a fairly tight budget that seems to be getting smaller & smaller. I look for Plus to offer some good games. We just need a better mix of games SONY.

Honestly, I would have just preferred a free 30-day trial for a PSNow game then anything else on this month’s games, outside of Rebirth, as that game actually looks like the only “Plus” worthy game this month. Disappointed in my first month as PS plus and Playstation owner since PS2. Hopefully you redeem yourselves next month.

I especially enjoyed reading the post from AizawaYuuichi stating that those complaining were “the no-lifers and people with no jobs or jobs that don’t require them to work so they can sit around and be on the internet all day.” Let’s not forget the guy who says we’re all entitled to our opinions (not AAA titles every month) then goes on to write a wish list of mainly AAA titles. Good stuff folks.
I hope this doesn’t become a trend on SCEA, announcing and acknowledging things on the last second, keeping people in the dark isn’t the right way to treat your loyal paying customers. As for the IGC lineup this month, I love it, specially Isaac Rebirth and Steamworld Dig.
