  • Maybe I’ll renew next month

  • it appears in a way sony hears us and has acknowledged that recent igc games are not up to par with fan expectation. Why else would they suddenly announce multiple ps4 titles for the next two upcoming months. Hopefully they get the point and return the igc to the bar set in 2013 in 2015.

  • Sad Luftrausers is glitched and Its impossible to make 100% :\

  • @ CraddaPoosta: No, not everyone is sick of indies. All the no-lifers and people with no jobs or jobs that don’t require them to work so they can sit around and be on the internet all day… those are the ones who are here complaining, the majority of the ones posting. As Sony continually says, they have their numbers. They can see just how many PS+ subbers are downloading the games every month. If people really didn’t want these games, they should not be downloading them, in order to speak with their “download” (since their money is already spent).

I see the majority of my active PSN friends mixing plenty of small games with big games in their playtime. These whiners are cheap people expecting to get nothing but new, AAA games for their measly few dollars a month.

Tell me how Sony didn’t advertise the PS4 as a great place for indie games all throughout 2013? Tell me how they didn’t have a bunch of indie games on stage at E3, indicating their support for good games, regardless of origin. People who bought the system without educating themselves have ONLY THEMSELVES TO BLAME. I knew what I was buying into, as did many others. Sony shouldn’t let the whining of a bunch of entitled brats change their business plan.

  • Is Frozen Synapse Prime cross-buy for Vita? If not, then this month is truly utter garbage. Thats the only game I’d be interested in, and only on Vita.

What a freakin HORRENDOUS month. Glad that my PS+ sub is ending soon. I get nothing useful from having it

  • Hopefully I will be over playing Battlefield 4 online by the time my PS+ membership expires because I won’t be renewing. I used to get more than my money’s worth, now I am getting exclusively 16-bit side scrolling games that I played on Sega Genesis when i was a kid, hell there is even an atari game in this lineup. One year in, and it is the same thing month after month for PS4, at least PS3 normally had 1 good title, but even that didn’t happen. I get that retro games are “in” because of the hipsters, and that is fine, but it is getting out of control.

  • HELLDIVERS! HELLDIVERS! HELLDIVERS! WHEN?! WHEN?! WHEN?! Just a release date please!!!!!! Game’s already finished!

  • There’s a value in all the indie games on PS4 but PS+ needs a blockbuster giveaway. These last few months have been stale at best. It’s time for the Killzone campaign

  • *sigh* Another boring PS4 line-up

Oh, and did I miss the update/apology for October, and Drive Club? We were promised Drive Club, yet you’ve moved on to November, with nothing to compensate this missing content (and compensation doesn’t mean $). That was the first PS+ item that I got excited about, and you have been completely silent. Yeah, I know the game had issues, but you shouldn’t be silent. It’s common courtesy to your customers.

And don’t get me start on how poor PSN has been getting, over the last year. Message notifications, but they take minimum 2 minutes to load? Friends lists not loading? Party list not loading? This was all smooth, when the system came out.

  • this lineup is a joke. i thought that october had bottomed out in terms of “how low can the bar go”, but sony really managed to outdo themselves this time. across all 3 platforms not a single retail game? how many faux-retro cell phone games is sony going to shove down our throats?

at least previously i was able to justify the lame ps4 offerings because the vita and ps3 had good games being offered. the last couple months have been terrible across the board, and at a time when the driveclub demo was “indefinitely delayed” and the ps4 2.0 firmware had a major bug rendering standby mode unusable.

really hope sony gets their act together for the december offerings.

  • I used to be anxious before finding out what would be available through Plus that month. Now I am just sad every new month and waiting for a good flash sale, as that’s the only thing Plus has been worth for lately. That and keeping the good games I got some years ago…

  • Ugly games…. worst month ever

  • again. what about ps3 owners? we’re getting the shaft of this every month. last month, for example: arkham asylum… i’ve had that since it was released. crysis 3? meh. not everyone can upgrade to ps4, not everyone can afford vita. don’t forget who made you. the diehard ps3 fans. i directed many friends to ps3 over xbox over the years, and all were happy w/the decision. now we’re left eating dirt. plus was my last bastion for new games, as i’m not very high in the bank account these days, as are many others. i’d have expected the free game quality to rise since ps4 was released, but it’s only risen for ps4 and vita. sad.

  • @133 DeadPool315 I love my PS3 too man. I don’t even see a point in buying a PS4 even though, unlike you, I could go out and buy it on a whim. I tried out the Destiny beta and didn’t much care for the game but it was pretty awesome of Bungie to make a version of it for us + the big games coming out soon. 2015 will be the year of the new gen and we’ll be gone in the eyes of Sony/Microsoft really. The PS3 will be our new PS2 :( Let’s just enjoy it while the servers last :) Some days while I’m on this blog I feel like making a PS3 only type of clan just to show Sony we care about it. You can add me if you want :) Us PS3 owners have to stick together ;D

  • Does this fix rest mode on the ps4?

  • Thank you Kristine for reading and responding to my concerns.

  • Sony knew that we don’t like indie games and they still offering monthly indie games for paid subscribers.

these games worth like $1 or less on Steam, c’mon. many bundle stores offering them in bundle packages for $1 and we’re paying $18 a month for them?

I don’t mind getting some indies but a month full of indies without any real game? that’s too much and it’s not the first time it happen too.

  • @150 you have 2 games this month. If you can’t afford some of the great deals that ps3 had in October for at or under 10 bucks then wow is all I can say especially when there were games like Fatal Frame, Deadly Premonition, Tales Of Symphonia Chronicles.

  • Worst month ever for PS Plus. Funny thing is i said the same thing last month but they managed to surpass it.

I’m not renewing it at least until something interesting is in the lineup.

  • So are the games announced by the EU blog for December and January also going to be available to us in the states? Because they have quite the awesome lineup

  • Worst lineup ever. Stop the indies wave guys. Seriously, stop! Mix it with another stuff, even PSP / PSX games.

  • this is a great month overall and has been for the last several months as a vita owner (rainbow moon not-so-much).

ps blog team: is there an official announcement for gta san andreas remaster on any sony console. i would buy a ps4 if that game was somehow exclusive to that system. it may seem like no big deal but even a phone port remaster of one of the best ps2 games matters immensely. Hearing microsoft getting sunset overdrive and gta san andreas remaster exclusively last week was lovely.

  • Although I’m happy with this month’s PS+ offerings, I’m not happy with the amount of information that we’ve received about the IGC versus the information given by the those that moderate and maintain the European PS Blog.

For instance, the first thing that Chris Howe did when he posted this month’s offerings was address the Driveclub PS+ Edition situation. Although he had no new updates to share, he apologized for the problems and reassured bloggers that they were being heard. Then (perhaps knowing that bloggers were going to be upset with the late PS+ post) he not only announced November’s lineup, but also announced the PS+ lineup for the PS4 for December (Injustice, Secret Ponchos) and January (Infamous: First Light, The Swapper). If you look at the comments for that post, you can see that the Bloggers truly appreciated Chris unveiling those games, and acknowledging that those are the first AAA offerings for the PS4 through PS+.

  • @167 – indies are not ‘real games’? Can you explain to me what is a ‘real game’?

  • (cont. from #173)…

That post stands in sharp contrast to the US November PS+ reveal: no acknowlegment of or update on other issues gamers are experiencing currently (i.e., Driveclub, PS4 2.00 update, etc.), and no extra information given to compensate for the lack of information previously given. Kristine just dove into the November PS+ update as if there have been no problems over the last week or so.

Listen, I don’t know the differences between what can be disclosed on the European blog versus the US Blog…maybe their Plus offerings will be different than ours…maybe our future Plus offerings have not yet been determined. But what struck me as lacking in this post was a TONE that acknowledged the recent frustrations and general angst of the PS bloggers, and an offering to help quell those feelings. Pay attention to your compatriots across The Pond, Blog Staff…it’s not about what they say…it’s about how they say it and how they make their Bloggers feel.

  • I subscribe to PS+ only for the discounts, lately. THAT is where its main value is.

I don’t like not being allowed to permanently purchase digital versions of games that I have received “free” with my paid subscription. If I want to purchase a game from the PSN, I shouldn’t be prevented from doing so. Kind of makes me not want to download any games I like from the IGC, because they will likely be discounted at some point in the future, and downloading the IGC version permanently prohibits me from purchasing the same game.

    Makes zero sense.

  • I’m very disappointed in this month’s lineup

  • wow this list blows nutz come on!! i wanted the first miku free DANG IT!! i would rather put my harry sacks in mixer why shoving my head up a MLP bum hole. sorry what the heck every november you list always is garbage. guess what finger does not like this list MY MIDDLE!!

  • @163 ikusa02. made a note of your name, i’ll add you when i’m on later this evening. i’m on the flip side of destiny, though, it’s the first fps i’ve loved in years. i knew ps3 options would dwindle.. just not this quickly. meh. i accept the reality of it, though. nothing i can really do. most of the complainers are all the instant gratification gamers, they don’t take the time to appreciate what they do have. i’m thankful i don’t need plus for online features, at least. i have it now, but it runs out at the end of the month, and can’t renew. wouldn’t anyway. any games i’ve enjoyed off it the last year, i can let go of easily. this type of drop just cements non-renewal. and i can do that, hah, ps4 owners. i can play online w/out the extra 50 a year.

  • Yikes. I expect better, Sony. The offerings for PS4 owners has been on a steady decline…

  • Read what they think about us and this blog..look at what they said to 28… Its a joke. So sony dishes these games out. Doesnt really care what we think until 30 days later. and if this blog has posts of people not even trying them what then sony? You keep dishing out crap? Dismiss all the fedback that people are paying for a service that cant stay up and running, updates that seem to make both my ps4s run less competent, and games we dont even download. So go read that blog you got. Trust me. The feedback you will get…bias. What about all the people on this blog and our complaints? Sony got worried the ps4 would be like the release of the ps3 so they musta all got together and sold thier souls or something…not religious, but evil is evil. Grow a back bone and start responding to the complaints. A business tip: the people with no complaints are happy. The people with complaints will not invest if ignored. 101 guys…dont worry though. We know your having trouble doing your job. Good luck to all us gamers out there who work hard and play harder.

  • so on the eu equivalent to this post, they had some huge news.

    https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/11/04/playstation-plus-november-content-update-little-something-extra/

from the last paragraph, it says we’re getting injustice ultimate edition for ps4 next month, and infamous first light in january. contrary to the borderline insulting november offerings, it looks like sony might be listening afterall.

  • @168. bite me. some people aren’t that well off. some people have bills that are more important. you know.. electricity, heat, water, insurance, food. internet is the one luxury i can afford myself, and even that’s tight. if you don’t know what that’s like, you don’t know life

  • I already own Frozen Synapse and Binding of Isaac on PC, and I still think this is a good month.
Thanks for Escape Plan, Luftrausers and Steamworld Dig, my Vita will be happy.
It’s always sad to see everyone whining and complaining, but you’re entitled to your own opinions (not AAA games every month).
Regardless, keep up the good work Kristine, and ignore the haters.
    Here’s my future IGC wishlist:
    PS3 games
    The Last of Us
    Final Fantasy 13-2
    Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13
    Red Dead Redemption
    Catherine
    Darksiders 2
South Park: The Stick of Truth
    Rain
    L.A. Noire
    Beyond: Two Souls
    Dead Space Extraction
    Infamous: Festival of Blood
    Dark Souls

    PS Vita games
    Persona 4 Golden
    Tearaway
    Hohokum
    Killzone: Mercenary
    Rayman Legends
    Child of Light
Jacob Jones & the Bigfoot Mystery
    Resistance: Burning Skies

  • Escape plan was offered for free, on PS Plus a while back. At least this month I dont own most of the free games from PS plus.
However, I am begging, please offer a PS4 Retail game.

  • I guess time catches up to all of us. PS+ you used to look so good. :(

  • yep you guys are DB’s at least i got my proof of point across. that is all.

  • Weak, each month gets worse and worse. Next month better improve or I’m not renewing PS Plus.

  • Decent Lineup. Keep up the good work PlayStation ?

  • Oh man so close to a perfect Vita month (6/6).

I think only Isaac will get playtime from me, but it will get a lot.

  • Really this is for the players?? PS PLUS quality too low since they force us to pay online PS4, but not with that improves online.

  • Wow! What a great lineup! Thanks Sony! I’m excited for all these titles!

  • So when is Binding of Isaac: Rebirth being released on the Vita, as I am a new Plus member, I do not know this. It would be really helpful to know.

  • I understand that Sony can’t give triple-AAA titles for free on PS Plus all the time. And there are truly great indie games out there too. That’s not the problem.

The problem here, is the perception of value. And since the PS4 (and its mandatory PS Plus subscription to be able to play online) was released, the perceived value of a PS Plus subscription progressively went out the window.

From a business standpoint, it’s perfectly understandable. Sony doesn’t need to make PS Plus as attractive as it was back then because most PS4 owners will end up paying anyway to play online. Why invest in giving away bigger games to attract people? They’re going to subscribe anyway once they’ll be on PS4…

Personnaly, I like when there’s fair competition in a marketplace. Like, when all players are still struggling to come out on top. That’s when we, customers, often get the best deals. When one player gets ahead a bit too much, that’s usually when they stop trying to be better, as they don’t see a good reason to.

While I like “free” games, PS+, nowadays, is just pale in comparison to what it once was.

  • Totally excited for Binding of Isaac, been waiting for months and being ICG is a sweet bonus. Sending some love for Kristine getting a little beat up today.

  • The whining on here is outstanding. Whahhhh, why aren’t we getting triple A games for the PS4.

Already have Escape Plan, I didn’t like it but it has good reviews. I just hated how slow it played.
Have Lufthausers as well, it’s more addictive than you think. Probably got a good 5 hours out of it and I still start it up every now and then.
I’m not firing up my PS3 so Frozen Synapse won’t get any playing time. Will play the other three though.

  • @182 get over it and work for it. I pay for all my utilities including rent, Internet, mobile, and insurance. I go through life like every working person. Difference is I don’t complain about the games that I think I should get with a subscription to a service that gives huge savings and over 2 games or more per month that equal the value of the monthly subscription.

  • @125, first of all, that link you provided is for year one of PS+, you would have to be stupid to argue year one was not worth it, they did a great job. We are talking about now, not then. I ahve been a Plus member since early on and it used to be amazing. Now is a different story. Second, the prices they give are based on PSN prices. If they did that same comparison for this month they would claim it is over $100 in value. Compare it to real mediums and you will see it doesn’t top $10. Most if not all of these games were $2 or under on Steam. Third, if people have zero interest in these games, then the value is actual $0. i will not play a single one of these 6 and I have PS4, PS3, and PSTV so I have the ability to play all of them. Thus this month is of $0 value to me. I’m not demanding a refund or anything because my first year sub netted me far over the total I paid for 3 years worth of subs, I got my money’s worth overall. The issue here is going forward, there has been a trend the last several months that makes people worry about continuing.

  • @153 – How is Luftrausers glitched? That is the only game here I’m interested in :(

  • COMPLAINERS – Take note of @193. This is actually well thought out, and devoid of the now ubiquitous ‘tin-cupping’ that many so quickly resort to.
