Didn’t we get Episode 3: In Harm’s Way last week? or is this for Vita? Also even tho when I thought I wasn’t going to buy anything this week, that Muramasa DLC comes around in sale. LOL
The pre-load for Destiny is awesome. Such an awesome feature, any news on if the pre-load feature will be available for Watch Dogs and/or The Last of Us Remastered?
Has anyone here played Game of Thrones? I know it didn’t get very favorable reviews, but I’ve always been curious about it. At $5, does anyone have any opinions on whether or not it’s worth checking out or if it should just be completely skipped. Oh, and if it has good/interesting lore with codex entries and stuff like that to read, that’s a big plus for me!
Bit of a ‘meh’ week for me.
Not many sales at all (compared to EU)
Puppeteer is not something that interested me (tho I will ofcourse try it)
Can’t say anything about Vita game, other then EU gets a hell of a lot more disc released games and less PSN titles.
I guess my problem is next week…. really want to play Watch_Dogs :D hope to get the pre-order in on tuesday!
Drakengard 3 has my interest, but gotta set priorities :)
Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga?? How did this fly under my radar? Been hoping this would make it to the store, only SMT series I missed out on. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!
#10, I had the same question. $5 isn’t much, even if the game’s not all that good, and it seems like one that’s not likely to enter the IGC. But then I remember buying Two Worlds II when it was that price, and I can’t say I got my money’s worth out of it.
Get bent if you ever think I’m paying $70 for a new game EVER!!! Canadians get the economic shaft in everything from vehicles to electronics etc. And I’m sure there’s been a wider margin of disparity between Canadian and American $$ before, but only now do you decide it’s a good idea to start charging us more.
When the Canadian $ was worth more than American $ I certainly didn’t see prices of consumer products equal out.
It’s a matter of principle, and I for one will speak with my wallet!
If that mean no Infamous SS, no Destiny, no first party PS4 games so be it!
@10 & 21
It plays fairly nice. I guess closest in gameplay would be Dragon Age Origins. it’s a bit on the slow side. imo it is definately worth 5 bucks. I bought it for that price as well in a previous sale. (I thought it was 5 atleast… )
Still no reason to do a pre order on PSN when people on the East Coast still have to wait till 3am EST to be able to play their game.
I dont understand why you cant have the game unlock via each persons time zone. All you would have to do is make it so the system has to log onto the internet and do a time check for the current time which would show the current time of where that person is and would prevent people from cheating time.
Hey, whatever happened to Digital Gaming being cheaper? You’ve cut the middle man, the supplier, the shipping centers, the retailers AND the manufacturers out completely, and yet the digital versions still sell for the same price.
Just wanted to mention, Soul Sacrifice Delta isn’t under the features section of the Vita store for some reason (and it really should be!) – additionally, most weeks, sales/weekly deals don’t have their own section like they used to either.
@ 10 & 21.
I got it for $5 too last time (around xmas). Decent, worth a try. Will not impress you on a graphical or technical level. The story will follow two protagonists in alternating chapters until their stories intertwine – it gets better as it goes on. It really depends if the characters grab you or not. The story was written by the proper author so it’s canon if that matters (personally I was unfamiliar with GoT but still followed along). TONS of missable trophies if you’re trying to plat it.
Oh an other week with no news for the Vita.
What infuriates me is the fact Milestone has World Rally Championship for months, it’s already available on the Vita but not for North America. It’s been out in EU, it’s going to arrive in Japan in July and no US release to be seen, let alone a publisher (it seems Namco Bandai wants nothing to do with the game this year).
Thanks for the update Grace… saddly I bought Pupetter months ago when it was @ 7 USD so only Surge for free this time for me =) but huge thanks for Games of Throne price drop down, I bought it already and will download it asa I get home yeah!
@37 Ultra Street Fighter IV works on Super SFIV and Super SFIV Arcade Edition. What we got on PS+ was Super SFIV Arcade Edition so YES Ultra will work on this as well.
That’s the one i have as well right now and i’m getting the Ultra DLC for 14.99 as well. Was hoping we get the Pre-order bonus Costumes and we do… Plus we even get a SF Theme as well for our XMB menu… OH YEAH!
Sony, please invest in an edit button for the blog!

Anyways, to add to my previous post:
You should try to get Ape Escape on PSone classics. Its a great game, highly requested and sold great in the US. Its on the Japanese PSN but not the USA, so hopefully you change that eventually. The platformers of quality for PSone classics are pretty much complete with Gex, Tomba, Spyro, Medievil and Crash, but Ape Escape is still missing.
I would ask for Croc: Legend of the gobbos too, but the developer and publisher is long gone so that might not be possible. :(
Right on time. Thanks team. Now time for some Wolfy.
Disgaea 2 sale please
Nothing this week but the last of us, hopefully its a permanent price drop.
Obligatory “Nothing for me this week,” “disgaea 2 sale plz,” “this update sucks” post.
Joking aside, great to see that Puppeteer is available to the masses now! And R-Type Dimensions is totally worth getting, so jump on that, people!
fifa 14 is %40 off on xbox. do the same sale and i’m buying it on ps4.
Didn’t we get Episode 3: In Harm’s Way last week? or is this for Vita? Also even tho when I thought I wasn’t going to buy anything this week, that Muramasa DLC comes around in sale. LOL
You’re correct, that shouldn’t be there, I’ll have Justin remove it. Thanks!
