  • Other than Drakengard 3, pretty underwhelming update.

  • Is this just the first Digital Devil Saga game, or did they roll parts 1&2 into a single PSN game?

  • My plus expires here soon I’ve been hopeful for awhile now but the games I own the sales are horrible your better off without it and charging Canadians more no thanks I’ll pay Xbox first if I have to pay more I have been a loyal Sony fan for a long time but I’ll wait for the big games to come down in price destiny is just a glorified defiance and that went horribly bad…..

  • Hopefully next week is better

  • Why does the store update so late. It’s annoying to have to wait until 3pm to get new games.

  • Its got to be hard to come up with stuff for the store every week. Im a little worried about this invasion of crappy indie games. But its not easy for sony. I watch the market as we all do. Anyone else feel that games these days are falling short compared to what great games there have been in the past? Seriously, if you dont care that much for the everyday fps and cant stand wasting your life on rpgs and find sports more interesting to physically play or watch then youre out of luck. Oh yeah, lame cheesy japan games. Forgot that one. Good luck on next months free ps4 game…good luck.

  • Nothing for me this week!

(I wish digital games were fairly priced. A $60 physical game should NOT be $60 digitally)

  • @57 Try Europe… they’re even worse.
    EU60 physical becomes a EU70 game digitally.
Not even talking about the 30/35% increase due to currency difference….

  • Pretty weak week when it comes to sales and avatars.

  • Wolfenstein: The New Order is $60, but Destiny is $70? Come on.. It’s like they hate my money

  • Muramasa DLC sale? Awww yisss.

  • Trine 2 (PS4) not on sale? :( Even if you discount it to $10 instead of $5 it will still show that you are supporting and promoting your new console.

Would have bought Transistor instantly if it’s $15, like Child of Light. Nothing for me this week. Here’s hoping for a good weekend flash sale.

  • @mando

Couldnt agree more. You go to the store; gas money and lines. Order online; shipping costs. Order digital; just the price and from what i hear maybe even play early. If you get digital and have two ps4s or two ps3s then you just bought two for one. Wait a mintue!?!? What am i agreeing on again? Nevermind.

  • Digital Devil Saga all the way!! Thanks for that one, and please work on getting us part 2 as well!!

Also, obligatory “Please release Suikoden II for PS3/PSP/Vita” post. :D

  • I see a new PS2 remake and some Japanese titles; are we ever going to get Yakuza 1 & 2 in HD I read somewhere online that they were released in Japan but no word on North America?

  • Got myself Trine 2 on the PS3, need to have a sale on Trine 2 for the PS4.

  • I would really like a flixster app for the ps3, ps4 and vita consoles in a future update. Also please bring more psp titles to the vita, Metal Gear portable ops comes to mind. Thx

  • when is something like dish app be avable in Canada we have providers here to like rogers bell and star ect and another thing I was told playstion now in coming to Canada next mouth but the beta still saying usa zip code

  • Hi, i would like to know why not arrived yet the God of War Colletion for PS Vita in playstation store from brazil?

  • *yawn…* more kiddo games… Screwing over us ps4 owners.

  • You mean like Contra I would not want to play it even if it was free!

  • We just want to be treated with a little more respect, i think the minimum would have the exclusive, that is what makes us a loyal fan of sony since 1996

  • 10$ more for a digital version of Destiny for Canada? LMAO I was excited about the game but there goes any chance of me ever caring. I’ll spend my money on games that aren’t overpriced above the exchange rate.

  • CrusaderForever

    Thanks! Transistor is AMAZING!!!

  • @Broman_YZ

Thats why you go to amazon.ca. At least they understand that 69.99 is garbage. Preorder when its 59.99.
I totally agree with you though. Futureshop, ebgames, and most other retailers are being boycotted from me.

  • The lack of demos this gen, so far, have been very disappointing. Would love a demo of Transistor, among many others. :(

  • R-Type Dimensions looks cool. I wish it had R-Type Leo though. That’s still my favorite.
It would be nice if it were also on the PS4 since I will be switching over to that very soon.

  • I also see less and less pictures and videos on PSN for new PS1 games. They ares EXTREMELY useful, especially for import games.
Why would anyone considering buying a Japanese import game without any idea of what it looks like.
I guess Sony is locking down their bandwidth or something.

  • A price hike for Canada? What gives Sony?!?!?

When our dollar was stronger we DIDN’T GET A DISCOUNT! We were only at price parity, but now our dollar has dropped it’s open season to jack up prices?

I know there is a broader economic reason to raise prices (to adjust for currency rates), but the double standard is ridiculous!

  • These sales are great additions to the psn store I will be picking up dlc for my ps vita!!!!!!!!

  • Since when is Muramasa Rebirth on the PS3 or do you just mean you can download the DLC to your PS3 and transfer it to your Vita?

  • Your new $70 price point is saving me a ton of money on all these games I’m not buying anymore, so thanks for that, I guess.

  • rabidninjamonky

@78 SpooNManX There is this web thingie you may have heard about called youtube. It has videos that show gameplay from a variety of videogames. You should look into it!

  • I want God of war Collection for PS Vita in playstation Store Brazil

  • God of war Collection in Brazil?

  • God of War Collection for my Vita

  • God of War Collection in Playstation Store Brazil please

  • @78, Totally agree with you. I know there is Youtube and Google, but not having any product pictures in their own product page is just lazy. If the screenshots look interesting, then I will go to external sources to find more info. If there is no screenshot, I probably won’t do the extra work.

And on the web store, for many games, they just show exactly 5 pics. Always 5. And only 4 are shown in the thumbnail index below the pic, you have to click on an arrow for the 5th, and last, pic to pop up. That’s really bad design. (Not to mention that on product listings, they only show quick link page numbers for up to 3 pages only. You won’t know that there is a page 4 or beyond unless you click on the arrows. And you can’t quickly jump a few pages, you have to scroll through them cos there are only 3 pages for you to click.)

  • What about the first Heroine Dream game? Wasn’t GungHo supposed to have six PS1 classics including both Heroine Dream 1 and 2 according to the blog post?

  • Post says there’s a PS4 Lego Hobbit demo. PS Store suggests otherwise. Is that a typo and it’s actually PS3?

  • Okay, I see what happened. It doesn’t show up when you search for demos. If you click the banner advertising it, it’ll just pull you to the full game for $59.99 but if you go into ‘More Demos,’ then it’s there.

That’s broken, but at least it’s there.

  • Once again, as long as these games have different prices in Canada, I am not buying them new. It’s money-grubbing discrimination veiled in “exchange rate differences” and I just won’t partake.

Within the past week, I bought a PS4 used, I bought 3 games for it used, and an additional controller used. Tomorrow, I am likely to buy another game. Used. This is a fair bit of money of mine Sony could have had had they not arbitrarily raised their prices here in Canada.

  • I don’t understand your pricing on the Israeli store.
Wolfenstein costs $59 on Amazon, which is a fair price for a new title that we all got used to.
On the Israeli store it will cost 400ILS which is $114 (!) – Why do you sell it in such a high price?

I can’t buy *anything* from your store – It’s just doesn’t make any sense for me. I rather wait a month or less for the shipment from the Amazon than buying it double the price?

Can you please explain or fix this so it will be fair for all of us?

    Thanks.

  • Thank you for muramasa dlc discounts. I will sweep that up now.

  • @10 & @21

As one of the two people who bought GoT on release day for 360, $5 is worth it. Not fangirling, but there’s enough game there to justify the price. There’s some (a lot) of graphic glitching with doors and such, but nothing that broke combat. I’d put it along the lines of Amalur in terms of glitchiness. Combat was breezy, though Mors was pretty fun because of his mechanics.

As a GoT fan, I found Alester’s story to be fascinating because it went into the Red Priests. It layers onto what you learn in Dances with Dragons to a satisfying degree. So yeah, it isn’t mainline story, but it does a nice job of fleshing out the Nightwatch and Red Priest angles around the edges.

  • The Plus games offered are not FREE on the site. Please fix this.

  • Dangisuckatgamin

    @76
That would be the developers fault.

    @70
I’ll take these “Kiddo” games over FPS anyday of the week.

  • Trine 2 would be a welcome addition to Vita, or could have been.

  • so, no Pre Load for watch dogs right ? :(
