Car lovers, rejoice. This week marks the launch of Gran Turismo 6, the latest entry in the legendary racing series that has spanned three generations of PlayStation hardware.
Gran Turismo 6, which hits PS3 this Friday, is one of the most realistic racing simulators available in gaming. Developed by the passionate minds at Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 6 features 1,200 beautifully modeled cars to drive across more than 100 circuit layouts. Kazunori Yamauchi and his team, ever focused on detail, have brought along a new physics engine with fully active suspension, tire, and aerodynamics models.
Those of you interested in true-to-life racing needn’t look further than Gran Turismo 6. But if you’re hungry to enhance your PS4 library this week, the co-op puzzle game Tiny Brains launches on Tuesday. Coming along with it is a familiar hit in the form of Escape Plan– fully optimized for play on PS4. The PS4 version of Flow has been rescheduled for a later date.

@rabidninjamonky I noticed the time just now. It seems the time the comments are posted are an hour earlier where I am. Sorry, my bad. Don’t mean to be rude, so I mean this in a productively nice way. It may help to affirm that you don’t know, are looking into, or that the date isn’t yet confirmed or something, rather than avoiding questions, when a very large chunk of them concern Terraria, in this case.
In comparison, the European blog responses from the staff tend to be more honest, even if it isn’t what we want to hear, or they don’t have any information pertaining to it. They hint at, when someone asks, if something is going to be on sale soon for instance. That is actually way above the honesty I’m speaking of here. It would just be better if the questions were addressed, if they cannot be fully answered. At least a simple, we’ll get back to ya, and then you actually do get back to us would do. It would help out somewhat with the repeated questions.

-Maybe you guys could find some way for your posts that people type up, if there has been a reply pertaining to a similar question, just using keywords such as [Game title] or [Developer/Publisher], that the page would recommend checking out the response before replying. Cause I’m sure answering the same question about Flow being rescheduled for a later date can get a little annoying after a while.

I didn’t mean to be rude with my last couple comments, I’m just getting so frustrated with the secrecy around Terraria vita. It’s ridiculous! It was announced for summer, and basically hasn’t been mentioned since. I’ve asked about it on the blogcast and drop posts for months, and never got an answer. I finally gave up on it ever coming to vita, and bought the PS3 version 2 weeks ago or so. The very next day I got a message in my inbox saying that the vita version FINALLY had a release date. Now, instead of releasing the vita version, we are getting a 75% discount on the PS3 version. I find it kind of insulting. The way 505 games has treated vita owners, they better be adding some new content. Hopefully they add all the new 1.2 content.

Wow, hard to believe GT6 will be in our hands already. Can’t wait to head to Gamestop this Friday in my new Subaru Forester to pick up my Anniversary copy. Now if only a Forester XT turbo was in the game………….

I took the same survey. IIRC there were age categories, or was your survey different? Also, did the survey tell you directly that you were ineligible because of your age? Or did it just glitch after the age question?
Anyway that’s very unfortunate. The last thing Sony needs is to alienate the people who built this place. I’m talking about the folks who are now 40+; they were 20-something in the 90s when Sony first dipped their toes in the gaming market. Let’s not forget them now.
BTW in the survey they did hint at possibly making the basic Music Unlimited service free to Plus.

I posted earlier about Terraria, hoping to get a reply explaining why it’s not up, when it was supposed to be. Apparently the date was EU only, but no one bothered to tell us. Here’s hoping the game is still coming tomorrow, but i severely doubt it if the publisher and editors at the PS Blog have nothing to say about it. I feel like this game is starting to get ignored, even by it’s own publisher! Really looking forward to this game, but it’s hard to support a game when the publisher is too lazy to give out any details about the game. I would love to pay right now and have access to it, but we are left in the dark, waiting for something to happen.
@rabidninjamonky It’s cool. I understand your frustration, but I’m guessing by your post it’s mostly about Terraria. You do realize these drops are never accurate, you know that? One time they missed Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate on the drop, but was still released on that weekly update. So Terraria will do the same unless a source says it was delayed otherwise.

@Gamerzlimited im starting to hear the Terraria date was EU only, but i can’t be sure if the sources are reliable or not. I really hope the game was just missed on The Drop. It’s a highly underrated game and was missed on other game sites when the console version came out, so i hope it’s just an error on The Drop
@Aadrianseth Me too, it’s mostly the niche stuff that usually doesn’t get covered or gets missed easily. For example, TMNT: Out of the Shadows had a reason to not show up a drop because it got delayed. It was due to that the game can be polished more and address issues of the Xbox and PC versions since those got very bad reviews. The main Facebook page was where I got that information, so I know that is definitely a reliable source. If the news spreads to other sites, then it’s legit. If it’s just only one site, then it’s mostly fake. Anyway, I do hope Terraria does come out tomorrow. It would be a nice game to play on my brand new Vita.

really quick couple of questions, please actually try to answer them: what are the current or ongoing plans for games like blade and soul, core blaze, war hawk, etc. being developed and/or ported to the ps4 system, and when can we expect these things to be done. as far as late game releases, such as minecraft and the likes of games that should be available on the ps4, when are we supposed to expect them to be released?

Will GT6 pre order DLC (Gamestop’s 25 Anniversary Cars) be released on the PSN to buy at a later date or will this be only available as a preorder? I wont be able to buy on release but will be able to a few weeks after, but I would have missed out on the DLC. I guess what I’m asking is: IS this hardcore ONE TIME ONLY PRE ORDER DLC FOR GT6?
