Car lovers, rejoice. This week marks the launch of Gran Turismo 6, the latest entry in the legendary racing series that has spanned three generations of PlayStation hardware.
Gran Turismo 6, which hits PS3 this Friday, is one of the most realistic racing simulators available in gaming. Developed by the passionate minds at Polyphony Digital, Gran Turismo 6 features 1,200 beautifully modeled cars to drive across more than 100 circuit layouts. Kazunori Yamauchi and his team, ever focused on detail, have brought along a new physics engine with fully active suspension, tire, and aerodynamics models.
Those of you interested in true-to-life racing needn’t look further than Gran Turismo 6. But if you’re hungry to enhance your PS4 library this week, the co-op puzzle game Tiny Brains launches on Tuesday. Coming along with it is a familiar hit in the form of Escape Plan– fully optimized for play on PS4. The PS4 version of Flow has been rescheduled for a later date.

I can’t imagine you’ll be able to buy them. The bonus cars I got for preordering GT5 Collector’s Edition on Amazon a few years ago (’10 SLS AMG Stealth & 5 Chrome Line edition cars) were never found for sale in the PSN.

Yes. That’s how cross-buy works, even the new retroactive version we’re seeing now. If you paid for one version, you get the other(s) free.
@ZAANOS I don’t think so. It’s already confirmed once you miss it, it’s gone for good. You might be lucky and manage to get an Anniversary Edition in the store few days after release. But since you said a few weeks, it would probably be gone by then.

Do we have a confirmation that Rainbow Moon will be less if you own the PS3 version? Not sure if that was a rumor or not, but if it is getting a price drop I will certainly get it on Vita!

So, I’ve been waiting to get involved with Terraria until the Vita version. Both of my kids have fully beat the game and my wife just took out the wall of flesh tonight. The frustration of waiting has become unbearable. I’ve been following every forum and blog imaginable and finally last week learned that it would arrive tomorrow. In Europe! And I am a loyal customer who has owned every Sony gaming console ever put out and have been a long time plus member. I ask questions on here and never get an answer and only see the staff give thanks when someone is kissing their asses or give fake responses to over irate customers by telling them they are sorry. I was counting up the Terraria questions in the comments yesterday, but I give up and am adding my own. Terraria may just show up this week in the store for NA PS Vita … but it’s plain ridiculous how so many, so very many, are asking about Terraria and there is no official word about it AT ALL for North America. Just say “We can’t say” or “We don’t know” or “This is how much we know about it …” or whatever.

To compare the qualities of another company, trying to scam Sony to take advantage of them, or because I just hate them for no reason. But did I do all of that? No, because there are 3 people in the blog that does each of these which I will not list names. The reason why I said you will never succeed is because you have an addiction of trying to force others for information. Guess what? You never get your answers by trying to interrogate Sony. That’s the reason why they would avoid you like the plague. Keep trying it with your method buddy, it won’t work.
Quick comment on the new format for The Drop… It renders horribly in feed readers. It’s fine for the actual web site (which I realize is what y’all are targeting), but in feed readers, it’s a complete mess.

I know some other games are coming this month for the PS3 but can we get those for the PS4 as well? Specifically Borderlands 2.
I know it just came out but the ability to download some PS3 titles would greatly increase the game library options for the PS4. How difficult would it be to port a couple of the IGC games to work on our PS4s?

The email I received had the header “Give us your thoughts and you could win a $50 PSN Card (2) ”
“did the survey tell you directly that you were ineligible because of your age?” Yes it did. It was the first question asked. I clicked on the 45 and over age group and clicked next. The next window that came up simply stated that I was not in the age group they were looking for, and then booted me to a “thank you for participating page.
This is total BS. If Sony did not want that age group, why was it included in the survey? Why are they discriminating against an age group who have sunk thousands of dollars into there products only to be shunned because we are older now. My age group help build the PlayStation brand to what it is today and now we are just ignored. (like how the Mod of this blog is ignoring my post and has not responded to it with any kind of response or even an “I am sorry”).

So no Terraria for PS Vita. Don’t guess they’ll ever say anything about NA getting it. So many said to us that want Terraria on PS Vita, “it’ll be there” … well, they were wrong.
Please tell us in America if it’s going to ever come to our store?
is there any possible way to get in touch with a sony representative that is knowledgeable and will reasonably and accurately satisfy our inquiries? because this is getting quite out of hand and frankly frustrating and unacceptable, one of the relatively simple jobs you were provided was to give us information about upcoming and relevant game titles, dlc. etc. and you have don’t next to nothing to fulfill that requirement, and its rather sad and demoralizing as a loyal and patient customer to your franchise that this is being allowed to continue with such docile improvements, I do genuinely hope that something is done about this soon, and that there actually is a proper response to my aforementioned question.

I feel for you man. That really sucks but I think I understand the reasoning behind you being disqualified which was that they probably feel that gamers like you who helped build the brand aren’t going anywhere. Like you said, you’ve invested thousands or dollars and probably thousands of hours of your life into gaming. What gets lost in the process of making these surveys and other things that are done for marketing purposes is appreciation and the human factor. Warmth. These things come off as cold sometimes even if they aren’t originally meant to be. I’m not apologizing for Sony, it’s just my take on corporate culture. But as a gamer to a gamer, I thank you and all the other “old warhorses” out there for supporting the companies like Naughty Dog and turning them into what they are today, for my generation and for those in the future. Thank you.
