  • Just make sure you give out NFS Mont Wanted for the Vita as well as the PS3!

  • I might be able to play Machinarium, but honestly Hitman: Absolution is the only good game in this month’s PS+ – and I don’t even have a PS3.

  • And we still don’t have Bit.runner 2 in Europe
I will probably go beat Complete if we will never get it

  • That’s awesome! Def getting the PS Plus 1 Year Membership this month.

  • Will we ever get red dead?

  • Some examples of PSP games I’d love to see hit the IGC are
    Daxter
Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley
    Me & My Katamari
    Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
    Namco Museum Battle Collection
    Resistance
    Star Wars: Battlefront II
    Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
    Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow
    Valhalla Knights 1 and/or 2
    Ys I & II Chronicles

  • I would kinda like to see more PSOne classics also. But I’m pretty excited for Hitman I’ve been wanting to try it out and Beat Trip is also very fun.

  • Well that was pretty stupid of Gaijin Games, a lot of people have been waiting all this time to purchase Bit Trip Runner 2 on the Vita because it would be better on the go. Now we can play the PS3 version for free, no point in waiting to purchase that Vita version now especially if its also going to cost $15. Sales are going to be very bad for the Vita version, hopefully they learn to port their games in a timely manner next time.

  • FINALLY 2 vita titles!!!!! Thanks PS PLUS for the first time!

  • Woo Hoo! Great month for PS PLUS members. Right on Sony.

  • Hey there, Sony.

Just like to let you know, next month will be my first anniversary of joining Plus, and your PS+ selection was awesome.

However, EU PS+ has been getting great games consistently while we’re gradually falling behind in terms of quality offerings.

So here’s the deal, if next month’s Plus offerings doesn’t match up to EU’s standards, I’m afraid I won’t be renewing my sub. My money will go to them instead.

Already started to think of a cool name for my brand new EU account. So choose those freebies wisely.

AND NO MORE FIGHTING GAMES FOR FARK SAKE! I HATE THEM.

  • thx for the replay Paul…Can’t believe i missed the sale :( i just put 250$ in my account 100 gone on metro & sniper ghost warrior 2 , i was hoping to bag something of the sale …..

  • I have been a huge PS Plus supporter for a very long time, I have gotten several of my friends to join the service on both PS3 and Vita, but it has gotten so hard to remain positive anymore. How can we be happy when we see how things are ran in EU, along with their top-quality communication and the amazing service that they receive? Seriously, has EU even offered any PSP games on their IGC? Games that have been our headlining titles, like Spec Ops and Demon Souls, are second and third tier offerings over there! I hate to say it, but this month’s update is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I have decided to let my subscription expire and rejoin when the PS4 launches, you know, since I will then be forced to be a member.

    Thanks for the memories!

  • Just want to say that I was wanting to play Runner 2….I’m really thankful Sony….Hitman is a game to own a physical copy…so not really happy about Hitman for free but still amazing.Good job giving us Darkstalkers and bring more PSN games…thats what we really need.

  • Cool stuff… that aside

IS SONY GOING TO GET ATLUS!!!! :3 i hope so

  • I renewed my ps plus for this crappy update :( well at least hitman is a great game !

  • Nothing for me in this update…I’m happy with plus though.
still, I’d say this is the worst update of the year in my opinion.

  • I just bought the game a week ago…

  • I take it back! This is worst update for PS VITA!!!!!!! I thought we get 2 vita tiles! So the pinball is Ps3 only? We get machinarium and a very old fighting psp game? oh come on!!!!!!! This is B.Sh.IT!

  • A pretty solid month… looking forward to Hitman (even though I own it already) and Runner 2. Another fighting game and pinball? I think we have had enough of those genres for a while, but I think you guys will run out of those games soon enough now. Machinarium for PS Vita is cool although it was on PS3 last week.

  • was hoping high in this moth for the vita :/ another bad month.

  • On a different note, some great discounts on really great games this week :)

Could the surveys be multiple choice for things that you liked for the month or week as opposed to a single thing?

  • Hey bloggers,

I’ve been a long time follower of you guys, even before I joined Plus a few months ago. I still am a huge fan and please know that what I’m about to say is not intended for you guys, because I know you have very little to do with it and you do nothing but try and please Playstation users.

I’m pretty crestfallen about the two most recent PS+ updates. I anxiously await the arrival of the PS+ preview every month (in the meantime finding out how impressive the EU lineup is and expecting something equally so for NA) but these last two months have been really quite frustrating. Look, I recognize that I may not have a clue about the business side of things for the IGC, but there has to be something that can be done about this blatant affront when everyone sees a large anount more full retail titles coming to EU’s IGC over NA. Hitman Absolution is an exceptional addition and so is Runner2; however, I don’t think the other three can be forgiven. Zen Pinball is probably a fun game, but there’s no way people are going to take a pinball game seriously. Machinarium is shameless double-dipping from last month. And Darkstalkers is probably the worst: a psp launch title that is incredibly dated and

  • Hey, how u guys doing? Off topic. When will GTA V. be ready for preorder on psn?

  • Well, this is a better month !! we didnt had rayman origins in the past like the EUR people, but we got discounts on

    Mortal kombat 9
    Batman Lego
    Silent Hill
    Persona 4 Golden
and now Rayman origins too !!! its a wonderful price but i think that would have been better to put it straight in $5 hehe, anyway its a huge deal !!!!

and Dokuro, Machi are both awesome games, and i guess some people will enjoy the PSP ones (i dont even download them but we need to think in the PSP users too…)

Thanks Paul, and i hope to see MGS HD or NFS for Ps vita soonin the IGC !!!!

    Thanks.

  • I hope there wll be more discounts and free games later this month. Keep them coming!

  • Another FPS-interface “full game”, another non-Cross-Buy alternate of a previous game, another button-combo fighter (this time, again, for the PSP slot), and still no meaty JRPG. Much as Darkstalkers interests me, there are so many ways to eliminate those latter two.

However, I am excite for Runner 2 and Star Wars Pinball. I could never touch another of the BIT.TRIP games and still be satisfied with getting nowhere in the Runner titles, and yet more content for a game even my dad enjoys playing.

At that discount, looks like I’ll need to get Wicked Monsters (whatever it is), and I can finally dip into some Rayman biz.

Still lookin’ for new freebie avatars and themes (our keepsies), as well as the reinstatement of Classics and/or minis.

Requests: Mirror’s Edge (PS3 FG), Dead Head Fred (PSP)

PS[P]: “(PS Vita, Compatible with PS Vita)” is still in the article.

  • PS PLUS ASIA:
August free vita titles : Ragnarok Odyssey
    Rayman Origins

    PS PLUS EU
July/August Free vita titles: Unit 13

  • Not a bad month for ps plus. Hitman: Absolution looks good. Been hoping this would be a game they put in there

  • I accidentally hit submit, I’ll just continue here.

probably the strongest reminder that the IGC in NA has yet to evolve past giving us more than one real Vita game a month.

Look, bloggers, like I said, I’m not blaming you folks for your awesome job with everything. We would just like it if you can pass this message along to the people who get these things going.

Also I’ll link to a thread that has numerous other individuals voicing similar complaints: http://www.reddit.com/r/PlayStationPlus/comments/1jqz5b/ive_had_it/

I wo t be hreatening with a cancellation, I’ll hold out and trust you folks will get this sorted out.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Strangely enough, the game I’m most pumped for this month is Runner 2. Looks like some good old school challenge! Hitman looks okay, but stealth games aren’t really my thing. The other stuff doesn’t really interest me.

… are you guys seriously giving away another PSP fighting game? No more PSP games! I’d much rather get PS1/2 classics instead.

  • I gotta say, this is the first time I’ve really been let down by PS+. I’ve had Hitman since launch, DarkStalkers on my PSP for I don’t know how long, and Machinarium on PS3 since January for PS3 (I got it on sale for $2.44, don’t own Vita yet). All in all not too bad, though, I suppose, considering all the other months leading up to now have been great for me. Sleeping Dogs, Saints Row the Third, Demon’s Souls, etc.

  • Thanks for Hitman, but I have to agree with most everyone else. This update is one of the worst we’ve seen overall.

Please stop passing along PSP titles in the PS VITA IGC. Just because the game is playable on the system doesn’t mean it should be there. Why not creare a PSP IGC and toss those in there? Do you use PS1 and PS2 titles to fill the slots in the PS3 IGC? No, so why do it on the PS Vita?

I understand the Vita is a newer system and the library on the Vita isn’t nearly as big as it is on the PS3. But by including so many PSP title in the Vita IGC and on such a regular basis, we can only conclude that the Vita is pretty much a sinking ship with little to no support coming from developers. If that’s the case, man up and tell us, but don’t keep throwing old games at us on our newer hardware just to string us along. And for the love of all that’s holy, if you’re going to keep doing it, STOP WITH THE FIGHTING GAMES! :)

  • PS PLUS ASIA:
July/August free vita titles : Ragnarok Odyssey
    Rayman Origins
    Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus

    PS PLUS EU
July/August Free vita titles: Unit 13
    Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus
    Lege Lord Of the Ring
    When Viking Attacks

    PS PLUS US
    July/August Trash Vita update:
    Dukoro
    Metal Slug (psp)
    Machinarium
Dark Stalker (old psp fighting game)

This is seriously WRONG IN EVERY LEVEL!!!!!! PS plus US is good as NOTHING!

  • As a Vita owner I am really happy with this month’s selection.

  • STOP! DO not buy ps vita I owned mine for less than 3 months , and “randomly’ a crack appeared “internally”” in the screen ! they want to charge me $130 to fix it and its under warranty SONY SELLS DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM !!

  • sony team it is ok to to come out of hiding and quote a few comments, after all there are like 10 positive comments that you can quote and say thanks for your support.

i love how you guys do that

  • Yet another fighting game for the vita. Really? And that’s in addition to no actual retail vita release this month.

  • Is the max payne 3 sale last another week, or is that done tomorrow?

  • OH COME ON MORGAN!!!

I just bought Wicked Monster Blast! HD two weeks ago during the Summer Sale at $4.99!

Now it’s just a measly dollar?! NO FAIR!!!

I hate you!!! I Hate You!!! I HATE YOU!!!

On a related note, if you have Move and kids, the game’s entertaining enough to warrant a look, and for a dollar, it’s worth the purchase if only to be silly for a little while.

  • Why can’t we have the Euro games? I want Need For Speed, Special ops The Line, and Mafia 2.

  • Damn, nothing for me this month. I was hoping for Mafia 2 being added as well.

  • The hitman absolution deal is very tempted, I had PSN+ til July 30th went it expired. I might have to get a few more dollars for the 3 months thing again

  • meh hitman is boring

  • It’s sad that you STILL think that PS Vita owners want old PSP fighting games, or crappy indie titles, or terrible casual-style Android-type games.

As I said on the last blog post update for PS+ subscribers, if I hadn’t bought a PS3 a few months ago, I would deeply regret the money I spent on my PS+ subscription. I think I’ve come pretty close to breaking even at this point, because of the discounts, but I originally signed up so I could get more and better content on my PS Vita.

PS+ has been available to PS Vita owners since late November. Since then, besides the launch titles, the only decent game you have added to the IGC has been Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. Once again, we do not want any more fighting games, or any more PSP titles. If I wanted more PSP games, I wouldn’t have traded mine in for a Vita.

You should either release a GOOD, VITA-ONLY game before the end of the year, or you should stop lying to your customers and pretending that this is a good deal if you only own a PS Vita. Be upfront and admit that you are just dumping the cheapest of the cheap, the crappiest of the crappy, on a market that is desperate for any reason not to abandon the PS Vita altogether.

  • why people PSN + U.S. wins some crumbs and the guys from PSN + EU get at least two top games? if he’d like, change for PSN + EU for sure. I do not know if I will renew my PSN + again. I was disappointed with this news.

  • nothing fo me this month…..SOOOO getting bumed at how we get treated in conparision to the EU pluse service.

  • I hate Hitman :(

    Psn Plus EU Win !

  • This must be a joke, worst update all year.

  • Awesome update. Bought this game, beat it and returned it, very happy to have it back along with sleeping dogs. Its a real shame these games didn’t do better with sales, even Tomb Raider missed the mark, all great plays.

Any chance of us seeing portal 2 on this list eventually?
