Hitman: Absolution brought a fine return to form for Agent 47 last year and now, this highly acclaimed title will be leading the way this month, supported by other fantastic titles like Bit.Trip Runner2, and plenty more!

Hey I already have Machinarium for my ps3 from Plus, I was really hoping for a fun, new game on my Vita to play. Like New Little King’s Story or something I didn’t already have before.
I guess I’ll try out Hitman. The trailers looked great but I’m not sure what to expect still.
@34 Hi, I knew we weren’t getting Spec Ops the Line this month because we got it about 3-5 months ago. EU got it later than we did this time.
Kind of a mixed bag for me as a PS Plus subscriber this month.
I have never played a Hitman game before, so I’m looking forward to playing Absolution. A game where I can choose to be stealthy or go in guns blazing sounds like a good time.
I would rather have Runner 2 on my Vita (when is that getting released?), but I’ve heard this is a great game and look forward to trying it out on my PS3 eventually (have a big backlog currently)
I’m also excited to play Machinarium on my Vita. I have it for PS3, but could never find time to play it with the backlog I have. I will definitely play it now that I can download it to my Vita, where I believe it’ll play at it’s best.
Honestly, I’m not at all excited for Star Wars Pinball or Darkstalkers. With Pinball, I simply have no interest in that genre of game. With Darkstalkers, my lack of excitement has nothing to do with the fact that it’s a PSP game (I’m playing Persona 3 Portable on my Vita right now and having a blast!); I just did not want another PSP fighting game. I did not play Tekken or Soul Caliber when they were available for download, and have no interest fighting games unless there are trophies to gain.

PROMISE: “Vita will have lots of exclusive games!” …
FACT: Over 90% of library PSVita games are ports and ALL are overpriced!
PROMISE: “Subscribe to the Plus service to have many games,” …
FACT: The MOST Vita games for PLUS subscribers were FIGHTING GAMES and PSP games ported ”
PROMISE: Vita exclusive designs!
FACT: Cancelled, and late (months late) …

Why do we only get one major game while Europe gets 3. I’m actually really upset at the fact that they get need for speed most wanted, mafia 2 and spec ops the line! i honestly don’t think that its fair.
It’s a real shame that every single month we get the leftovers from EU I’m getting close to the end of my sub and I have really enjoyed two months out of 10… I know that this is only based on personal opinion but EU get 3!!! retal games for ps3 every month and we get 1 that they had like 2 months ago… it’s hard to find a reason to renew when we are not getting the same quality as EU

LOVE this preview, looks awesome, would also love to see PS1 classics return to the IGC and PS2 classics, but these games rock as well, grabbing absolution ASAP
Hitman is the only one I’m looking forward to. The others are disappointing. Don’t really care for fighters or pinball games. And didn’t we already get Machinarium last month? =/
Oh well, besides this, PS+ has been great.

I’d just like to point out that some RPG love would be nice to see from the people in charge of negotiating what gets put on the Instant Games Collection.
While I’m not going to complain about free games at all, given that free=good….I don’t really count “Deus Ex” as a role playing game, and I don’t think most other people would either.
You’ve got a TON of JRPG’s in your current library. How about letting us get ahold of one or two in the coming months?

well not every week i am broke but when rent and bills come up i am very broke after i take care of those things.
and i buy tons of games in fact i had to stop buying so many. i own every vita game that is mp and a few random single players. i would say i own around 14 full vita games and 10 psn vita downloads or more and that is not counting the few i got from ps+
Please stop giving us these STUPID PSP fighters constantly. I’m so sick of it. SCEA’s treatment of the Plus service on Vita is an absolute JOKE. How many PSP fighters do we have? Are there other genres that PSP has? Aren’t there other PSP games that SONY THEMSELVES have made that we could get? Resistance Retribution? Motorstorm Arctic Edge? God of War Chains of Olympus? God of War Ghost of Sparta? Any of the hundreds of other PSP games that aren’t fighting games?
Seriously, is this a joke to SCEA? I look at games SCEE gets for Vita and I realize that it isn’t the lack of a substantial library for Vita – it’s that SCEA is an absolute joke and I’m sick of it. I can’t believe I paid for this.

I have tried to be tolerant with these updates as some of the EU items generally come our way after a bit.
I have tried to let myself complain about a service that gives a lot more than it gets.
But after reading a lot of comments from Morgan specifically about how PS+ wants to offer a diverse library of games.
PLEASE. Explain how FIVE (insert bad things here) FIGHTING GAMES IS DIVERSE?
I understand its free. But is this really the ONLY thing you can come up with? There is NOTHING diverse about having the SAME thing show up. Five Fighting games within 5 Months(MAYBE 6?) time.
To top it off its NOT even for different platforms. Its ONLY. EVER. Vita.
I know this comment is irrelevant and no Mod will read this – But for the love of god I needed to vent this (Insert more bad things) somewhere cause this is just plain stupid now.

Hitman is the only good title here. This update is so bad. First, another PSP fighting game like we Vita owners didn’t have enough. And to top it off, it probably isn’t even that good. If you’re going to give PSP games, please make them genres we don’t have already or ones that haven’t aged terribly. Secondly, then we get Machinuranium again. Just like what was done with Jet Set Radio, you’re walking a fine line Sony by saying, “but they’re different consoles.” And lastly, Star Wars Pinball? Who were you trying to please with that? We just got a pinball game like 2 months ago and that wasn’t even good.

@ 377 – This is why I keep saying we should get to choose between a couple of games EVEN IF WE GET LESS quantity.
I love Sony but man they do some stupid stuff sometimes.
PS+ actually is a DISincentive to purchase off the PSN Store because we may get it for free later.
If we could purchase the games we want and then pick games we would not have paid for from the PS+ subscription it would make us gamers happy and Sony more money.
I have not bought a SINGLE game from the PSN Store since I got my Plus subscription, prior to Plus I was spending $100+ a month on average. I am not going to pay for a game that they will give away free months later, sorry it may seem cheap but it is how I feel.
I think this will become even more of an issue when PS+ becomes mandatory with PS4.
There will be a lot more angry people here each month, when you can’t cancel your Plus subscription.

I’m not going to lie, this is a pretty disappointing month. Hitman is 16gbs, so I won’t be downloading it anytime soon, and wow, talk about a lackluster, if not THE most lackluster month for Vita. I already played Machinarium on the PS3, already have Star Wars Pinball (great game), and no thanks to the Darkstalkers PSP game. The only thing that excites me is the discount for Rayman Origins Vita (even though I already got the platinum for the PS3). Although, if I do buy it, I’ll probably complain next month or so when it’s offered for free. Like others, I was really hoping for NFS:MW.
I hate complaining for a great service but the reason people complain is they see the UK getting early info on their releases and they tend to have more relevant ps3 games month to month. For myself I try and play all games before I determine if I like or not so Im easy to please. Thanks for this great service and will start on hitman after numerous of free and discounted games I have gotten so its gonna be a while.
Question, if I start downloading Battlefield 3 tonight and it doesn’t finish for awhile (I have slow internet) will I still be able to finish the download tomorrow and possibly into Thursday? Once I start downloading I should be fine right?
What cracks me up/depresses me/frustrates me is how they asked what we wanted out of PSP games if we have to get those, and the overwhelming response was “NO MORE FIGHTING GAMES!”

Hello I am very happy and satisfied ps+ member right from the start, ps2 classics are too few i think and wish you guys can bring silent hill 2, 3 and 4 to the PSstore…BUT PLEASE NOT THE GOD AWFUL HD “REMAKES”! I’m sorry, but I just hated those and the silent hill games are one of my favorite series with 2 and 3 being the best of em all. And before I forget how about the Timesplitter series?
Ill pick up bit trip runner and hitman. I’ve never been a fan of stealth games but you never know Hitman could surprise me. I was hoping for another open world game but maybe next time. My wish list would have to be Far Cry 3, Play Station all stars, Gotham City Imposters, Crysis 2, and Red Dead Redemption.
And that’s why i now love tuesdays…
