  • Step 1: Get Sleeping Dogs (Complete!)
Step 2: Get Mass Effect 3 (Currently in Progress…)
    Step 3: Profit!

  • I saw that Infamous 2 and LittleBigPlanet along with a lot of others on the IGC were gonna expire soon. Is this true?

  • Morgan Im a long time plus member, since close to the beginning. Ive been asking a question here for three or four weeks and i cant even get a reply let along an answer.I give sony and psn alot of money and time as well PLEASE some sort of reply would be nice: Overall im generally pleased with the ps3 side of plus, but Ive been a vita owner since the beginning got first edition bundle and im totally confused about one thing on the vita side of plus. Why are close to 70% of vita games for plus fighters? I dont mind the genre but There are many othes, we have no Shooters only a few platformers and one Rpg. Its like month in and month out i hope for something else an the update post and there it is mire fighters. Now its blaz blue. I dont mind psp games at all heck i dont even mind ps1/2 classics, but please can we mix up the type or style or genre of games please dont take this wrong im an avid fan and gamer i just did not just constructive criticism and a view that others have expressed.Honestly i am starting to feel like its some sort of vita fight club and thats not what i signed on for. Morgan if you could PLEASE reply at least show you hear these concerns.
sincerely An unhappy member of the vita fight club…

    • I’ve replied to folks on this issue before, but I’ll make sure to include the feedback on fighters in my reports. Thanks!

  • JESUS – yet ANOTHER fighting game for vita? is this a joke?

  • Sony is secretly spying on the games I purchase, then turning around and putting these
games up on PS+ for free a month later.

Here SONY, I saved you some time. Do this.

    JUNE Lollipop Chainsaw
    JULY SLY 4
    AUGUST Prototype 2
    SEPTEMBER P4 Golden (Vita)

Seeing as I already have these also, you will look good but spend any money on us.

  • For last month I voted for Demon’s Souls, with the Playstation All-Stars Heritage Sale coming in second place. For this week I went ahead and voted for Sleeping Dogs, but the game I’m really excited to get for free this month is Knytt Underground.

I realize that we’re getting another Vita fighting game, but this is definitely the best of the 3, the nicest looking along with online and trophies. And it’s REALLY awesome that we’re getting 4 games that we can play on the Vita this month.

  • sleeping dodgs lol i have it from EU , btw “blazblue extended (ps3)” ?????? ,ERROR CODE 484255264155

  • You might want to correct this: “Remember, check back every Monday to learn when BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND (PS3)”

By the way, plus is looking better now, i might renew my subscription.

  • @Morgan Haro @94 MarcioHuser2 — That’s always a consideration I have. Dumped enough time into the trophies metagame, and while I have plenty on Steam, they’re very standalone compared to the levels here (or the lump-sum score on LIVE). Heck, with my wide backlog, I find myself holding off on games if they’ll be on a cheevo’d platform (finished Machinarium on PS3, for instance).

STILL debating BioShock. I’d’ve much rathered a 75% discount, but with all the praise it gets… I feel myself cracking.

  • Morgan, you probably saw that photo of the PS+ endcap at a Gamestop going around last week, showing off the.IGC.

Most of the new games shown on it have been confirmed here except for one game: Pax’s Truffle Trouble. Is this game still coming for PS+ members?

    • This is not slated for the NA IGC at this time. The photo that came out was not final, and definitely not official, I’m afraid.

  • Amazing month… but we need bigger memory cards for the Vita NOW!!!!

  • I find it funny how people on here feel so entitled. Just because you bought something just to find out it’s free a month later does not entitle you to anything! It’s happened to all of us, or at least the majority of us. Sony owes us nothing! If they was to credit everyone for buying something then it being offered for free later on, they would be out of business….You people saying you threw away your money, well you own the game as where the free game is basically rented for the duration of the plus subscription. Stop feeling like you’re entitled to everything!

  • Wonder how people already knew last week that it was Sleeping Dogs the big game this month.

Prettty weak update this month. This “gta in hong kong” doesn’t appeal to me, neither does yet another fighter for Vita. At least is a game I never played, but it’s probably the last to be added this month.

Hope next month is better and with a greater variety of games.

  • Sleeping Dogs platted and sold already
Knytt Underground may download most likely will never play
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND Vita:No go
Germinator never heard of it and now I know why
    Pinball LMFAO Pinball!! WTF?

Another $4 wasted on PS+ again. Makes the 3rd month in a row. Sony +$12 Me -$12.

  • Morgan don’t listen so much to the whiners about fighting games. The problem isn’t too much fighting games. It’s that we don’t like getting older fighting games that don’t have a competitive scene. PSP fighters aren’t exciting because we don’t get to play against human opponents. Blazblue and Street Fighter 4 are excellent. Tekken and Soulcalibur PSP aren’t so great of choices as they both have newer iterations that the community are playing.

So some good choices for the future would be Mortal Kombat, Soulcalibur 5, Ultimate Marvel vs. CAPCOM 3 Vita, Dead or alive 5, Persona 4 Arena, Skull Girls.

  • Hello Morgan, since I don’t own a PS3 it is “nothing for me this week”.
But the month overall is very good.
I already own Knytt Underground, and it is amazing.
I was planning on buy Germinator, so now I have 10 bucks for spending with another game.
I’m not a fan of Pinball games and I already have some tables of Zen Pinball 2, well, but it is free!
And lastly, BlazBlue, really? It is the 3rd month in a roll of fighting games. That’s enough, please, NO MORE FIGHTING GAMES. I’ll download it because it is free, but stop, please, give us something else.

BTW, I’m sad that there isn’t a PSP game this month, I hope to see one in June. Ah, June, IGC makes one year next month, right? You should reformulate the IGC, like start giving games from more platforms, by that I mean, PSone Classics, PS2 Classics, PS Vita, PS3, PSP, PS minis, maybe even PS Mobile, and in the near future PS4 games.

  • Hi Morgan, hope you see this. I had mentioned a couple weeks ago that I prefer small PS Vita games over the larger but older PSP games. So in this instance, thanks for Germinator! I’m very glad to get it over an older PSP game that wouldn’t see any playtime on my Vita. I know I probably don’t speak for everyone, but thanks!

  • Also, +1 to NO MORE FIGHTING GAMES please.

  • Awesome. just as I finished up Demon souls and Spec ops the line. It’d be nice to get Dark Souls!

  • Sleeping Dogs is fine, but EU still gets better games. They get 2 full games in one month, while we get one game and crappy PSN games. It’s disappointing to be a US PS+ member. :(

  • Just went to the PS store. Sleeping Dogs was $49.99. Did I freakin miss it?

  • I might actually be the only one who didn’t care for Sleeping Dogs. It’s not a bad game, but the gameplay was a little easy and a bit boring. I didn’t care for the fighting system.

The story was good enough; even if they used foul language a bit too much. It seemed they were trying to hard. There’s a couple of fantastic scenes in this game and graphics are very well done.

Sorry, no one asked for a review.

The update looks for good for May. Thank you Sony!

  • Enjoy sleeping dogs people. It is quite a great game and easy to plat. Also you get to drive on the proper side of the road which you should be doing. lol. I kid I kid. It feels more like home for me cos we drive on that same side of the road.

  • @vinardus,

Morgan was on the Blogcast, see Thursdays for the blog post of the episode. He announced what was coming to PS+ for May.

  • @lowman22

Did you miss the part of the blog post that says coming May 7th, Sleeping Dogs?

It won’t be in the IGC until the store is updated on May 7th.

  • I’m looking forward to Sleeping Dogs, once I finish GTA IV, Deus Ex: HR, AC III, Tomb Raider and RE 6. You know, backlogs? :p Suggestion: ask firmware update peoples to allow for more folders to organize games on the XMB. This might be a good tool to manage play time. Great work all!

  • Great additions. Sleeping Dogs is a good game. Nothing mind blowing but it’s still pretty good fun. I bought Knytt Underground when it was discounted a while back. Thought for sure I would like it but it’s pretty bland and uninspiring. Backgrounds are pretty though. :D

  • Wow, thanks for the quick answer!

I’m looking forward to 4 free Vita games, even though I bought one of them and never got around to playing it due to a backlog. *sigh*

  • Ohhhhh…yeah, I guess I missed that.

  • @lowman22

Today is Monday. The store updates on Tuesday with sleeping Dogs.

  • bt1234567892010

ahhh Sleeping Dogs, I’m happy, to say the least. I wish the DLC would be on sale again ^^; Had I known this was coming to the IGC, I would’ve bought the three story DLCs during the Square Enix Sale. I don’t have the extra cash to get them at full price ^^; not right now, anyway.

  • TALLglassofWATER

I am touched that they tacked germinator onto the update!
It’s almost as if sony DID listen to everyone being tired of fighters as the vita games!!!

  • I agree about getting too many fighters but hey, atleast its one for Vita rather than another PSP game so you gotta give ’em that. I’ve been interested in buying Pinball arcade and Germinator for quite some time though so that’s great news. Sleeping Dogs looks fun as well. When I get some time at home I’ll have to give it a try! Already own Knytt Underground but its pretty fun, somewhat like Metroid only you don’t kill things.

  • Great update with Sleeping Dogs. I am very interested in that game and glad to see that ps+ is listening to their customers. This is how you do it! Pinball Arcade is good as well and I recommend it but I already bought it. Everybody should have pinball games like zen pinball and pinball arcade. People will be surprised how fun those games are.

  • TALLglassofWATER

When I saw the igc list from the blogcast earlier in the month I was upset about another fighter for vita. Now I don’t mind because we are getting germinator as well (AND because blazblue will prolly be more fun on vita than either of the psp fighters we’ve gotten in the past two months).

I am looking forward to germinator the most, I love puzzlers.
Knytt is super rad, I already have it though. I am excited for pinball as well.
I was not among the masses clamoring for sleeping dogs, but the more I hear about it the more I want to pick it up. So, yeah… great month for plus!

    VITA POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thx for this update alot new psvita games this month =)

  • smoothboarder540

If I knew we were getting Germinator I wouldn’t have been so negative about the fighter. While I wish we got a better full vita game, I think we still got a good variety or games to play on the vita. Hopefully we get a couple full games that I don’t already have if you guys do a big change-up in June like you did last year.

  • Very nice game, played it last Summer on 360.

Keep it up as I countdown to PS4.

  • Can’t wait till August 14th 2012 for this to come out! I’m so psyched!!!

Seriously though. It would take about 5 minutes tops to edit the last splash screen. At least blur out the date. I know of this game of course but it would throw some people off. Somewhere in they world someone is confused by this. Or stating “OMG… and old game!”

Can’t go wrong when using the lowest common denominator. Most of the time.

  • Absolutely Awesome update. I simply love Sleeping Dogs, and I think it’s great that so many people will get to play this gem. Knytt Underground certainly looks interesting, so I’m looking forward to seeing if I like it.

I just have one problem.. My PS Vita memory card doth overflow!!!! Will larger memory cards ever become available? Or maybe a sale on the 32GB card?? *grin*

  • Also, please let us download games as demos or TRAILS then only need to download the unlock code when the offer is available. That way people could just start playing right away. No delay.

    Oh PS4! Where art thou?

  • Thanks for listening to your customers Sony and for having such thick skin. Some of the comments you have to read…let’s just say I’m glad I don’t have your job! :)

  • Darn it, I knew I shouldn’t have purchased Knytt! Hardly played it too!

  • Sleepig dogs for free on PS+ shoot! i paid full price on bluray on day 1 of release, guess i should of waited -_-

  • Thanks for the VITA love!!

I am downloading all the VITA titles for sure!!!

    Thanks for the VITA love!!

  • Great month for the instant game collection. Not really my type of games but glad to see plenty for the vita! Thanks :)

  • Gotta say very very nice update Sleeping dogs on my ps3 and blazblue on vita can’t complain.

  • Pure awesomeness!!!!!

Morgan this keeps getting better and better and i already thought it was great

  • wow first bad month we could use so more fighters and shooter moostly a bad month ause I don’t have a and sleeping gs sent it back to gamefl a week later ths how bad it was oh wee o goot games from last month

  • People that are worried about file sizes because of their hard drives filling up should think about upgrading their hard drive. You can pretty much always find a 1Tb laptop hard drive for like $70 on newegg… That’s where I got mine. I have about 90 games on my drive with about 400gb of free space left….any ps plus member should seriously consider it.
