MAG Beta Test for Qore Subscribers Launching Thursday

Here’s an update about the status of the MAG Public Beta email vouchers. The first wave of voucher codes for the MAG Beta will be e-mailed to all current Qore subscribers beginning today and continuing over the next few days. Follow the instructions so that you’ll be ready to download the Beta and jump in when the test starts this Thursday, September 17. The email subject line will be:

“You’re in: Welcome to the MAG Beta”

And, the email voucher will look like this:

Remember, you only have 4 days left to get in on the action as the Public Beta entry deadline for Qore subscribers is this Thursday, September 17. Please allow at least 5 business days for delivery once you subscribe.

Qore subscribers will have access to the MAG Beta Test from September 17 through November 8. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10am-1pm and 5-8pm Pacific (PDT).

Once again, here are the eligibility requirements:

  • The Qore MAG Beta offer is open to Qore subscribers only, not to single episode purchasers.
  • All Beta invitations are restricted to persons 18 years and older.
  • We must have your current, valid e-mail address on file.
  • You must be opted in to receiving communications from PlayStation.
  • Vouchers will be sent to the e-mail associated with the PSN account that purchased the Qore subscription, not to any sub-accounts.

You can update your e-mail address and check your notification preferences via your profile on PS.com or on the PS3 itself under Account Management/Account Information. Be sure that you have “opted in” to receive our communications.

We hope you enjoy the MAG Beta, and don’t forget to leave your feedback at Beta Central by following the instructions in the voucher e-mail. As this is a Beta is a work-in-progress and not representative of the final game, your input is vital.

    If I Buy the Qore Subscription today will I get a Key to the Beta as well?
    Causes its mentioned “subscribe till 17. September” and I don’t know if this day is included or not.

    • Yes. Anyone who subscribes to Qore up through today, September 17, will receive a voucher code for the Beta. Please allow up to 5 business days for it to arrive. Since the MAG Beta runs through November, there will be plenty of time to participate.

      Also, please check your Account Management settings to be sure that we have your valid email address and you have opted in to receiving communications from us.

    ” this content cannot currently be used on this system

    this content will be available for use after 24 hours have passed from the time it was used on another PS3 system (80029752)”

    i think that someone else has the same code as u and u can still use the beta but only after 24hrs. but im not 100% sure

    I read that if the Sept. 09′ episode of Qore is indeed your last episode in your annual subscription, that you are entitled to a beta voucher. Thing is I have yet to receive one. I’ve been constantly refreshing my email account. If I could get a quick reply from you Kevin, I would greatly appreciate it. You’ve been doin’ the forum community proper, replying to those who have posted. Keep it up! Thanks!

    • That is correct. If September is the last episode of your 13 episode Qore subscription, you are considered a current subscriber entitled to the MAG Beta voucher. We hope that you\’ll consider renewing your subscription when the opportunity arises in October.

  • Thanks for the update there was videos on youtube about the new ps3 slim freezing. So i wasnt sure if i was gonna get one because of that. But i guess this update fixes it. Thanks

    • We are asking you to wait up to 5 business days from the date of a new subscription to receive your voucher code via email.

      For those, like yourself, who subscribed a few weeks ago and did not receive a voucher because your email was invalid, you do not have to wait 5 days for an email from Customer Services. Once you have contacted them, they will respond within 48 hours.

      As for your request that I send you a personal email with your voucher code, how would I contact you if your email is invalid in the first place? ;) We prefer that all issues are handled through Customer Service, and contacting them will ensure that they have your current, valid account information.     i didn’t share the beta or got stolen
    and what about the error code what dose it mean i Google it but it look like it is an error that’s happened for different games like warhawk and other game which they all work fine on my account so plz someone give an answer the code number is (80029752)

    • I\’m sorry you feel that this is stupid, however the vast majority of our subscribers are not having any problems and we are doing our best to address everyone\’s concerns.

      You did not subscribe a month ago, but just 8 business days ago. A voucher code was sent to your email during the first wave on Monday, but your email is either invalid or you have opted out of receiving communications from us.

      Fortunately, you said that you sent a message to customer service, so they will respond within 48 hours and you should have your code soon. Sorry about the wait.

  • when i try to download the MAG, it let me through but when it tries to set up it goes server error, i check everyhting and its all good, but it keeps me offline when the sever error comes… any ideas

  • Nearly all of you do not deserve to do this beta. So much whining over something that you should feel even the slightest bit of appreciation that Sony and Zipper allow for people to beta their upcoming game, when they could just make you wait until launch day. You should be ashamed of yourselves with the way you act online. Seriously.

  • Please Kevin, if you are there help me. I renewed my subscription on August 23 after a full year of qore. I qualify and have everything in order. I have not recieved any messages from qore or the playstation store (accept transition messages). I have called sony twice and have emailed their customer support twice. Every time they say they can do nothing for me or told me to wait. I really want to play with all of my clan and friends. please help.

    • I do see that you are on the invalid email list/opt-out list for Wave 1. I don\’t know why Customer Service said they can do nothing for you, although I can understand if they asked you to wait.

      Did you fill out the online form, indicating that the Product is \”PlayStation Network\” and the Topic is \”Voucher codes\”? Please allow them some time to get back to you to sort this out.

  • I sent out two emails back to back, one to games, and another to those requirements after i saw your posts. The first said that they can do nothing and i haven’t got anything yet on the second.   • Hey, I got the voucher and downloadedthe beta (looks sick) but when I started it i got a regular game update. The afetr it finished, I got an update saying “Receiving uptades…” and it’s been searching/downloading for about 2 hours strait!?! Any answers?

  • i am a subscriber to core and my email was invalid i have updated my account with a new email and i was wondering if they will send my mag beta key to the new updated email since the old email would not work and i dont know if they tried to send my beta key already to my invalid email

    • First of all, welcome aboard.

      Second, good guess, but in your case your PSN ID is not in either of the first waves (valid or invalid email) unless you subscribed under a different PSN ID.

      As you are a recent subscriber, you should be in the third and final wave, which will include everyone who subscribed up through the end of the day today. Please allow a few more working days for your subscription to be processed and the voucher code to be sent out. Thanks.

  • Yo it’s me again Kevin, i messaged customer support, Playstation Network, Voucher codes before i posted here, and that was 5 hrs ago. is this supposed to be immediate or still the 24-48hr window to get a code.

    • Due to the normal volume of calls/emails, the standard customer service response window is 48 hours. Keep in mind that customer service covers all of our products and services, not just PlayStation Network and Qore. Thanks for your patience.

  • I’ve not received my email with the MAG beta code voucher. I have been a qore subscriber since last september, this is my last month before I renew.
    I didn’t receive my Uncharted 2 code in June either.
    I’m also opted to receive emails.
    Whats the issue here?

    • The issue here is that the email associated with your PSN ID is coming back as invalid, so the voucher could not be delivered. This is likely the reason you did not receive an UNCHARTED 2 MP Beta code either. Did you contact Customer Service then?

  • @395 Kevin, if thats the case then whats the deal with the papjohns psn email and the other countless emails i get, My PSNID “DIGITALHOUR” is the only one I use.
    So i smell somthing fishy. but then again i called and asked CS about this very issue and the lady said i was on the list and should get it TODAY. so was i lyed too???

  • Can Beta codes be shared? I havnt gotten mine yet but my friend has can I use his until i get mine? or will it mess him up from using it?

    if he used his code its his, but the codes are for 1 use only, so no you cannot share codes
