If you’ve applied for the PlayStation Home closed beta, but have yet to receive an invite, you may want to check your inbox again as we’re opening PlayStation Home’s expanded closed beta again to thousands of new beta testers. The closed beta test is going quite well, so please don’t sweat if you didn’t make today’s list, as this wave of invitations will be followed by many more before our launch into open beta.
Since the initial wave of new invitations went out a few weeks ago, we’ve been having an incredible amount of fun in PlayStation Home meeting each other, launching into games together, and dancing the night away by Listen@Home! Hey I’m really hoping for an invite. I’ll be checking daily. Maybe I’ll get an invite for posting here. I’ll all for helping with developing, and want to do some of my own third party development for home. Awesome possibilities, its an exciting time for ps3. Even if none of us get in now I’ll bet it’ll be worth the wait until “autumn”.

Is the beta only open to residents of US or to Canada as well? I’m kind of getting the feeling that Canadian users are being left out since we also don’t have the PSN video store. :( Please at least allow me access to the Home beta! I am very disappointed for the fact that I am a big supporter/G.A.P. Member/etc. And still to this day SCEA over looks me when it comes to HOME Beta.. I would like to see the people that been there since the beginning treated better.

See at the moment I don’t care about Home….. What on earth does Sony do after all these years with Home? I’m just sick and tired of hearing all this crap… I want the game on my PS3 to judge if it good or not. Not by just looking at trailers.

I hope comes out alright. I don’t mind how long it takes because I’ll be too busy playing many other games (LBP, WarHawk) but it’d be great to get into the Home Beta. I’m also trying to get into the Resistance 2 Beta. Both of these games deserve to have a great launch and that’s the purpose of these betas. That’s why Sony isn’t rushing to open up the Beta to everyone because people would encounter bugs and give a wide perception that the game is crap.

There wont be limitations I guess unless you are buying apartments, clothes etc etc. I’m guessing they will build on the game as it progresses.
Will it be available 2 everyone or just people who get lucky? If not, I hope Im one of the lucky ones.

Well, 20th of september and nothing, is this just for the US, i’m in the USA Store but i don’t live there, i downloaded the theme since the first hour and played a lot in the PSN, but like a week ago i upgraded my HD to 120 GB and the theme was deleted and i had to download it again, will that matter? Its 10:30 am here 20th september and no e-mail…
Why not simple open the beta? Is it because the servers are not all ready?

Finally! A word on the Beta!
Tnax for finally updating us with something. Still no invite in my box, but at least I have some words this time :)
I’ve only bought a few PSN titles, all of which have been shared, I’ve got about 15 games, with MGS4 being the newest, and only one I paid full retail for (if you don’t count a 10% discount), and no intention to buy another game until LBP drops. I probably don’t deserve the beta as much as half the people begging for it, or maybe even at all.
That being said, I’m still gonna check for invites :P
