If you’ve applied for the PlayStation Home closed beta, but have yet to receive an invite, you may want to check your inbox again as we’re opening PlayStation Home’s expanded closed beta again to thousands of new beta testers. The closed beta test is going quite well, so please don’t sweat if you didn’t make today’s list, as this wave of invitations will be followed by many more before our launch into open beta.
Since the initial wave of new invitations went out a few weeks ago, we’ve been having an incredible amount of fun in PlayStation Home meeting each other, launching into games together, and dancing the night away by Listen@Home! man, I feel a bit depressed I still haven’t gotten an invite. I’ve been focusing half my PS3 time on trying t find a way in :(
waahh I didn’t get into home beta, I’m gonna cry on the internet and tell sony what an awful job their doing, seriously you guys need to grow up, Home is a free service their offering and all you can do is complain because you feel your more important and deserve to get it before everybody else

How do you guys do these invites? Does being in GAP mean nothing? I have been patiently awaiting this application for quite some time and have yet to receive an invite.

Yea, I’ve had the PS3 since it came out. And I’ve been in GAP for 5 or 6 years and PSU even longer. Time to wait even longer I suppose.
But we do have the open beta to look forward to… getting it a few weeks early just means you’re testing for bugs.
Yup no email for me…It’s crazy if sony wants a productive and efficient beta why don’t they better the selection process. You have loyal PS since Sony introduced its first console wanting to actually help and improve, what ever problems the beta may encounter. instead of people just wanting Home, for bragging rights saying they got in early. Just my $.02

I’m dying to get a beta key. I heard it was based on how much time you spend using your PS3 or something like that. Since the launch of the video service, it’s become the only place I watch tv. Plus, I play games when I can as often I can, and additionally, I use if for the web — so my ps3 is constantly on. It’d be pretty f’ing rad if yall sent me a key . . . but no worries.

I’m starting not to even care anymore. It’s obvious that they’re just drawing names at random. Being an active member of the PlayStation community doesn’t factor in at all.

I got in today! Thank you very much for letting me in. Ive been very interested to see waht potential Home will have. I like it alot so far.
What’s the criteria this time around? Last time was mainly Qore subscribers, I wonder if my age (24) is not the reason for me getting in? The PlayStation forum was riddled with kids getting in the beta, I know you have to be 18 to be able to accept the NDA so why are the kids getting in and not the adults?
I’m not too worried; I’m just annoyed. Shouldn’t the privilege of participating in a beta be given to active community members instead of randomly handed out? They’re giving beta codes to people who don’t even know what a beta is! So these people go into it, decide it sucks, and never touch it again. Meanwhile, those of us who REALLY want an opportunity to be apart of this are being ignored.
Kinda hard to not take that personal.

Look it. I’ve done everything myself. I’ve subscribed to Qore, downloaded games constantly, I’m in the Socom Beta, and I play games online. Still, I know it takes awhile to get chosen for stuff like this. Be patient people. You will eventually be chosen.

I GOT IN!!! In my nearly 20 years of gaming this is the first beta (that I didn’t have to pre-order or buy a magazine for) that I’v been accepted into! ….and me on vacation until the 28th. Hope my invite don’t expire. I CAN’T WAIT!
