OK, I like that we have some themes now…any plans to come out with themes that aren’t game related?
The new GTA IV video and the Ratchet & Clank theme are amazing. Its also about time the TGS MGS4 trailer is released.
I didn’t really like this update at all. Timeshift multiplayer demo which was supposed to come out last week and themes, and trailers. Only saving grace is High Velocity Bowling

@xxLONESTARxx – they already released those 3 non-game related themes. There is also a website that has TONS of user created themes for download. Many are top notch.

Did anyone notice that the R&C theme has different sounds ? Is this something that can be done by us also with custom themes ? I love it, we need more official themes with new sounds !!

Nice US Store update! Am glad to see another PS1 game, an RPG no less. The MGS4 and GTA4 videos are great as well.
On a separate note: European PS Store users.. go get your Killzone 2 Theme now! The background alternates which is pretty sweet.

If you could get the message and bring more PS1 RPG’s like Legend of Dragoon, or other Third part y companies to release then that would be great.
Also I love all of the extra downloadable content and I believe your prices for the PSN games are justified at 10 dollars. If anything it would be nice if your team got crack-a-lackin on more PS1 games for PS3/PSP.
Also why not do a deal with Itunes so people could download music straight to their hard drives? I honestly do no know why anyone at SCEA has not thought nor metioned the idea.
One more thing, PS3 users don’t need the entire XMB in game, just in game messaging, a friends list. Music later would be nice, but not needed immediately. I know the HOME project is doing that, but why not the text messaging for now?
Also great concepts with the PSN games. They are way more original than what Microsoft has to offer. Older PC games could be formatted for PS3 would also be a great idea. Also partner with SEGA and get us some old Genesis titles like wild arms and Vector Man.

I am sure people will have a different list than me, but I would love to see Chrono Trigger, Vagrant story, and Fear Effect.

I understand you may feel like you wasted 10 dollars, but almost every game is worth its price so far and I have almost every PSN game. That just my opinion too however, but check out the gameplay vids or gamefaqs.com and look at the games message board to see how people feel about the game.
I’m glad sony is releasing some PS1 games on PSN, I just hope the guys over at sony can keep em coming every week. Japan gets about 40 a month, I don’t see why we can’t get one a week. I love how the themes are free.
I have a question about the Playstation Cards. Where are they? I’ve had my PS3 for nearly a year now and I haven’t bought anything off the store since I don’t have a credit card. So can someone at sony at least respond to me? I’m fine with “we’re working on it” but please at least respond.
(Dylan from Q games was nice enough to respond to me in a previous blog post, but since he isn’t an employee of sony he didn’t know what was going on.)

have you been to the forums lately? Have you seen the Home section? People are waiting for your response about Phil’s “Late Nov or Early Dec” announcement regarding a “Home Open Beta”.
We know we just got into Dec, but we would really like a heads up as to a date or at least let us know it is coming this month so we can put our minds at rest on the subject.
So what do you say can we get a little word from you guys?

Great update, I see you’re finally getting some expansions up there. I, do, however want to know why all the Canadian content cost more than the US prices. Um, in case you haven’t noticed OUR DOLLAR IS STILL STRONGER. It should be cheaper, not more expensive!

Seriously Sony, I don’t mean to be extremely negative, but the fact that my system freezes EVERY TIME I enter a credit card expiration date of 09/2011, I want to take my PS3 and break it into little pieces :).
Just kidding about the PS3 sacrificing, though I would love to be able to actually purchase things from the Playstation Store… heck I missed out on the Everyday Shooter Thanksgiving promo so I deserve an Account Management system that doesn’t freeze when I enter in my expiration date!
If I had to make a list of PSone games we need for PS3/PSP on both versions of PSN it would be the fallowing:

Wild Arms! That’s great! I’m so glad you’re getting some Japanese RPG classics from the PS1 up on the PSN Store. I’ll probably buy this just to support more JRPG titles, even though I watched my girlfriend beat Wild Arms: Alter Code F (the remake for the PS2) literally a couple weeks ago.
As for what I want next for PS1 RPG titles? I honestly don’t care, but the rarer the better. Suikoden 2 (we own all the other Suikoden titles) would be great, as would Xenogears (again, own all the others).

Just got done playing it, it’s pretty cool…but there are a lot of “Server Timeout” messages that freeze the game :(
