PlayStation Store has plenty of shiny new things this week to help stave off the January blues. Handsome strategy epic The Banner Saga marches onto PS4, alongside smart sandbox puzzler Infinifactory, space combat adventure Rebel Galaxy, the second entry in the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles series and a multiplayer beta for Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2.

The PAL release for Gone Home hasn’t yet been confirmed. We’ll release an update on this soon.
Is a post on this blog entitled “Acclaimed adventure Gone Home hits PS4 in January 2016”, featuring an embedded video which narrows the date to January 12th 2016, not considered confirmation then?

I heard this game is also made by the same guys who made Costumer Quest so pretty much here we go again.
Steven the trailer says ESRB (US) right at the beginning which means release date information included with be for the US region only unless it states otherwise which it unfortunately doesn’t.
So the trailer is technically right. It’s out on the 12th but only in North America.
@lethal the post on the EU blog says it releases January 2016, whether the video says NA or not is a side point. That’s what you get when you do a lazy copy and paste job though, typical EU Blog though…
Though I must say, having seen the trophy list I’m no longer particularly bothered. No plat, and a trophy for finishing it in LESS THAN A MINUTE? I’m not paying £16 for that…

What exactly is Harvest Moon: Back to Nature compatible with? On the webstore, the info box on the left only mentions PS3, but the description says it’s playable on PSP and PS3 — no mention of Vita. I don’t want to buy it only to find it’s inexplicably incompatible with my Vita, the only platform I’m interested in playing it on.

It’s not! That’s Hero of Leaf Valley.
Mixed responses here. To clarify, I’m talking about the PS1 classic, which isn’t listed at all on the Vita’s native store, and there’s no mention of Vita compatibility on the webstore.
Going of the store on PC Back to Nature is only compatible with PS3 for now
Hopefully Vita compatibly soon so I’d advise don’t buy it yet if you just want it on Vita and then see if it becomes compatible in the future

The error never got corrected so when you click on Legend of War: Patton it takes you to the PSP version on the web store.

Normally I would buy games like Act It Out for local multiplayer, but since it requires players to actually look away instead of sending the charades “secret” to a mobile device it’s probably not going to work for my group of friends.

Yay! The Star Wars PS2 games!
Who do people have to bug about getting games released elsewhere to be released over here, just curious.
There’s a few games i’d like to play that are only on the US store, stuff like Mortal Kombat Decepition Unchained (PSP), Mega Man X4, X5 & Legends (PS1) & Emperor’s new groove (PS1). Also apps like Twitch not being available here it a bit annoying tho i know that’s on twitch themselves.
With the other disney games being available here, it seems odd that one is missing. Capcom i’m used with as they pulled the same crap with EU releases on Nintendo 3DS & i have no idea why Warner Bros never bothered with the MK PSP digital release.
They didn’t even bother with MK9 Komplete in digital format, actually. I had to buy it physically.
sorry but i dont see as much issue on xbox one, they release all their games mostly at the same time on a global scale , and compared to sony on this particular issue, it’s day and night… so if MS manage to have a real global xbox live, why does sony have do region lock PSN ? for example, it’s been now near 10 years that you can ask to change your xbox live account from one region to another, for example when i go to the USA, and back to europe, at sony they still don(t offer this service … and still no rewards from buying from the store, like xbox do or the USA PSN,

I bought The Treasures of Montezuma 4 right before christmas when it was released, the ps4 version works fine, but the Vita version I have tried to download over, and over and again, it will download but when it tries to install the downloaded file I just get the errorcode C2-12383-7) I have tried to reset my vita database, etc, but to no susccess.. Are the download file corrupt from the store?, can you check it out? When I access the store from pc there are a version avail which are “free” but when I tries to purchase it will not allow me, so have there been put a new version up?. I really want to play it on my Vita as it’s a game made for it and not so fun on my ps4… I really hope you can look into it!, Thanks in advence! :)

I bought the assassins creed unity season pass and it said it will include all 3 of the chronicles games, got China but it says 7.99 for India.

No, it didn’t. It said you would get China and that’s it. It NEVER said you would get all of the Chronicles games.

You have forgotten the Disturbed Rock Band 4 DLC :| . It cannot be that hard to publish these Rock Band DLCs regularly, the SCEA and the XBOX store teams can do it as well…

Can you offer any insight as to why Rock Band (and, until recently, Rocksmith) players in Europe as consistently subjected to missing and delayed content with no explanation?
I’m not even interested in this particular batch of DLC but invariably the same thing will happen when the next tracks I do want are released in the SCEA region and on Xbox Live worldwide. I’m also still missing tracks that should have been released three months ago.
Unless I missed a more recent post, the last time we had any comment on the blog about the situation was in a post from Harmonix, and not SCEE. I and others are frustrated by the constant DLC issues – don’t you want our money? – but equally frustrating is the lack of engagement from Sony.
Xbox does what PS doesnt.
Dont know how SCEE can do so much wrong and Microsoft does everything right on worldwide things. Im glad I bought Rock Band on Xbox.

The price for The Banner Saga is a joke. The launch price of indie titles has sharply increased over the past year or so and this has to hurt sales. I would be inclined to take a chance on a game if the price was £9.99 but £15.99 is just too much. It’s only £4 on android. I will do what I always do these days with indie games. Wait 3 months at the most for the price to drop or the game to appear on PS+. I’m sure I’m not alone.
It’s non-sale price on Steam is £15, iirc. So it is priced around the same.
I’m sure more people would buy it at a lower price, but that could be said of everything in life ;-)
It was £3.74p in the Steam sale, I think i’ve seen it go for even cheaper on the pc sometimes..
