Today, we’re happy to announce the latest, full Monthly Games lineup for PlayStation Plus. February’s selection is headlined by Square Enix’s competitive yet ultra-colorful online party shooter Foamstars, which makes its debut exclusively on PlayStation Plus. Joining it is a potent mix of skates and gunplay with the highly stylish Rollerdrome, while Steelrising brings you automaton-powered RPG action. All three will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, February 6 until Monday, March 4. Let’s take a closer look at each game.
Foamstars | PS4, PS5
Introducing Foamstars, the new 4v4 online party shooter. Use foam to build terrain, creating slippery surfaces to surf around the arena at high speed, help defend from enemy attacks, or create vantage points to take out opponents from. Steelrising | PS5
This action RPG is set in an alternate history Paris in which the French Revolution has been suppressed by a robotic army. Yooo this month is a low-key BANGER and I did not realize that coming in. Steelrising is a very solid soulslike with an insane steampunk / fantasy history setting, and sick art / character design. Rollerdome is tony hawk with guns. Nuf said. Foamstars is chaotic fun with friends, and we will see if it has legs. Three games I probably would not have ever bought myself, but I’m very stoked to be playing. 🎮🤘🏽❤️
Rollerdrome is showing as “Buy on Playstation Store” and then asking me to Upgrade to Premium to download instead of giving me the option to add to library like the normal, and other two, PS+ games. What’s this about?
I haven’t played Steel Rising, looks to be a fun game, but Sony, you’re slacking off with a mediocre month of your subscription service. Foamstars will be renamed to “dead on arrival Stars.” I’m just waiting for the player count numbers declining. I already beaten Spider-Man 2 and I can’t wait for New Game+ to drop in March, but I don’t need Sony to tell me that it’s free for PS Plus subscribers. No, thanks. I’m just starting to lose faith on the PS5 if they still give us more meh games monthly.
So.. tested two of the games already. Foamstars and Rollerdrome. Don’t care for those from the little I saw. Hopefully Steelrising is better, as that sounds a bit like Greedfall based on what I was reading, which was a good game. But oh well, two less games to add to my playlist.
Complete garbage. Wish we could just play online without having to pay for this crap.
$80 per year for this. Microsoft is looking better and better.

It’s a real game, but it’s kind of a joke. Didn’t care for the small bit I played.
