  • I thought the higher subscription prices meant more quality titles, in their words. Not seeing it here.
Vanillaware games are fine, but old. Who hasn’t played these if you wanted.
I own NieR but still haven’t gotten around to it.. oops

  • EXCELLENT MONTH!
Masterpieces like 13 Sentinels, Nier, Odinsphere are itself SO GOOD for a month!
then you inlcude This war is mine, Unpacking, CIV VI, Planet Coaster ALL Fantastic games ! Thanks PlayStation for a banger month!

  • Would love if y’all brought back some more of the games that were previously on PSNow but were lost when the new ps plus dropped. Games like Eternal Sonata. 🥺

  • I’m incredibly disappointed by the paucity and quality of PS1 titles this service has coughed up in its first 12-18 months. It makes Nintendo’s Switch virtual console thing look generous.

  • No new proper classic games added? You guys really went out of your way to make this the most disappointing month in PS Plus history, huh?

  • Great month for me. I don’t play a ton of these games but the jrpg stuff is going to get my attention. I own many of these games in different forms but it’s nice to download them and play them and not dig in my 5000 game collection. Also the Portal comes out soon and I can play these in bed which will be dope too

  • Wow so many disappointments. I think I unlocked the disappointment platinum trophy this month.

  • I don’t like any of these games for me this is the worst month for ps library , why can’t you give gta trilogy , that anyone can enjoy

  • What load of rubbish I am glad I cancelled my subscription paying that much for crap why can’t they do what they on ps3 better format

  • Doo doo lust anime games if that’s what the price increase was for I better buy a pc

  • For the next month im expecting Spiderman 2 for day one on extra just like xbox put Starfield on day one on their game pass
Starfield is xbox exclusive and Spiderman 2 is playstation exclusive
And the two games are in the same AAA league
Normally it should be like this but Sony is too greedy to do something like this

  • Lot of people here whinging about the price hike or calling these games ‘Japanese garbage’.

Why announce publicly that you’re leaving? Just go.

And those of you angry over ‘Japanese garbage’, you DO know Sony is a Japanese company, right? That’s like complaining about Ubisoft releasing French games when they’re, ya know, a French company.

  • Odin Sphere is a gem

  • I’ma be honest idk why they are upping the price but if they do they definitely need to give us more games, cause yes the games have been decent it’s just they aren’t competing with Xbox like they used to. Now I know we shouldn’t be but it’s annoying how Xbox is getting like 10 day one games all amazing and we get like no day ones, I feel like we should get some day one games that are actually hyped up not just random stuff. But hopefully sense they raised the price they will be offering more

  • Oh sony happened to you ?? Fire Jim Ryan !

Glad my extra sub ended a week ago. Wont renew until its worth money.

Looking forward to nothing today with the state of play. Keep up the good work sony SMH

  • Increasing prices then having these awful games?? So much for high quality games.
I will high quality NOT be renewing my subscription.
Ebay + Xbox + Games Pass, here I come.

  • I already dropped extra and after over 10 years of service i will likely cancel my essential when its up. I completely understand a price increase but the service has lost value and a 33% increase is too much at once when youre adding nothing.

  • Wait, so you guys removed Star Ocean First Departure R a few months back only to add it back in this month? What was the point of removing it in the first place?

  • Seeing a lot of people saying they’re disappointed in the list, but this is actually one of the better months for the Extra and Prenium tiers. A few underrated games like Tails Noir(formally Backbone), West of Dead, 13 Sentinels, among others.

  • Xbox gives you starfield and lies of P and ps gives you this lot no thanks I will cancel and stick to game pass if this doesn’t improve.

  • Thats is Sony
No more ps plus no more
Lies of P just got on game pass,Starfield also and we got those thrash games!?
Btw im gonna replace my ps5 for xbox series x and start giving my money to Microsoft because they are putting games that are worth my money

  • Wow what an awful month, whack the prices up and then give us crap games, I’m glad I went down from premium to extra, but this month is absolute rubbish, normally I would try one or two, sometimes three but none in that list at all, hope October will be better

  • Xbox gets Starfield and Lies of P…..we get this. Sony isn’t even trying to hide the fact they care nothing for their subscribers.

    • Lies of p looks really good idk about starfield tho I got bored in the first hour it looks cool but I didn’t like it tbh

    • It’s just the quality difference that bothers me, especially after that large price increase. Its on them to justify it, which so far they definitely haven’t.

  • Ngl these are some good games I’m really looking foward to nier idk why people are complaining yea the price increase is ridiculous but y’all calling these games trash and you ain’t even played em at least try them before complaining

  • Please add Splashdown Rides Gone Wild to Classics 😃

  • Yea true them raising prices was not a good idea tbh probably one of the worst ideas

  • With a 35% hike in all PS Plus subscription membership tiers across major regions including North America and Europe ( let’s face it…the Premium tier does not offer anything significant to the Extra tier) and just plain bad decisions in terms of the specs and features of the PS Portal (no full Bluetooth audio support for the device especially the PS5?!), expensive first party accessories and lack of third-party hardware support things are looking really bad for PlayStation. With the cost of living people are looking elsewhere. The signs are there. As a long time PlayStation gamer and without being overly dramatic or overstating it I am extremely disappointed and I’m thinking of shifting allegiance. It’s not all about games. It’s about listening to the fans and giving us what we really want. It’s about good value for money. And with money being tight it’s not looking good anymore.

  • The only realistic ways for me to stay with Playstation is a roll back to its PS Plus subscription prices to a previous much cheaper/discounted rates, more high quality monthly titles, a software update to support full Bluetooth audio on most third-party devices, a dedicated UK Customer Support number (only Microsoft & Nintendo has one) and a 1TB PS5 Slim priced under $500/£500. But i’m pessimistic Sony will ever listen because they do not.

  • The best deal in gaming has always been the PS Plus lowest tier. I have PS Extra and this took over as the best deal in gaming.
Then came the price hije so I’m not so sure I’ll keep the Extra tier once my sub runs out.

I look forward to playing and trying games I’d otherwise not have a chance to play. But I’ve always bought the games I like used and so I didn’t spend too much. I’ve downloaded many PS Extra games just to have them removed from the service and I get that the service rotates games but gamers like me rather just buy a few games used or on sale rather than waiting for ps extra to get it just to take it away a few months later.

The lineup this month is just OK. While Nier Replicant, 13 Sentinels and Sid Meier Civ 6 are nice additions, I already have these. Call of the Sea was also a nice edition that most gamers like.

I’ll try Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, Unpacking, Cloudpunk and Star Ocean.

  • This is a stacked list of games for this month.

Star Ocean is a GOAT RPG series. You could squeeze hundreds of hours out of those titles alone.

Then you get Nier replicant. A fantastic game that never gets boring and gives so many endings to work for.

Odin Sphere is a PS2 classic that got a much needed remake.

13 Sentinels is the best VN i have played in a long time. The RTS mode in the game is also pretty fun and can get challenging.

Planet Coaster, Dragons Crown, Sniper and Cloudpunk are all just a nice bonus.

    Excellent month.

  • What the hell am I paying for? New Zealand isn’t even getting these games. We always miss out on everything.

  • I’d rather pay for games like red dead which offer free online gameplay without PS plus. Paying extra for the game I own just to play online is ridiculous, I mean Sony isn’t even hosting the servers to most of these games. I’ll go back to playing on pc if required compared this crappy service. Btw how much is a ps5 selling on the second hand market? I might have to sell soon.

  • Sony please change the PS Plus prices back, Xbox Game Pass is just gonna win over PS Plus Extra/Premium as if this never existed, even if Xbox has Game Pass raised in price too… You guys are really shooting yourselves in the foot here, this is coming from a long time fan of PlayStation. I’m very upset and it doesn’t take much to please me, which is saying something..

  • From latest news on internet Microsoft is considering to put Baldurs Gate 3 on game pass and Sony wth are you doing to counter Xbox???
    Nothing
Your Ps plus is gonna dissapear if you gonna continue to put thrash games on extra and premium
People are gonna go to Xbox
You gonna lose big time Sony
And if you wanna me to stay on PS you better put Spiderman 2 on day one next month on extra otherwise bye bye PS and welcome Xbox
If Microsoft can put Starfield and Lies of P on day one on game pass then so you can put also AAA games on extra on day one especially exclusive games like Spiderman
Dont be so cheap and greedy

  • Is the Calistol protocol worth downloading is it a fast paced shooter or mix of stealth n shooter

  • Thank you! , Sony Playstation
This is great month for me!!
