I am disappointed, totally! This is a shame!
This is easily the worst month in years for Plus. Let’s go through the list here:
UFC 4
-One of the worst user reviewed of the series
-It’s a buggy mess
-Packed with in-game ads
-Game balance is all over the place
-No longer an okay simulator or fun arcadey gameplay
-If you have EA Play, this is a repeat ($60 value 👀)
Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure
-This is a standalone DLC originally from a PS3 game
-Was already free with Plus within the Handsome Jack Collection on PS4 May 2019…let that settle in
-Not Crossbuy with the PS5 version
-Cannot Import Saves from BL2 versions
-$10 value
-Easily the worst of the 3 Plus titles this month
Planet Coaster: Console Edition
-Not Crossbuy with the PS4 version
-$50 Value for both PS4/PS5
-Packed with DLC Add-Ons for the full experience
-A niche title, but probably the best of the bunch
The last time I can recall a DLC being packaged and released separately to be given on Plus was Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4) for August 2017.
But this February 2022 is a new low. I don’t usually complain this much, but at the very least both titles with Crossbuy offerings should be treated as such.
Really though UFC and old previously free Borderlands 2 DLC should be completely swapped out for some better quality.
There is no PS5 version of Tiny Tina. I don’t know why the blog post said that but you can look it up and see for yourself. Someone on the blog got confused. That or a PS5 version is coming and hasn’t been announced
Totally agree with you.
