  • This month is awful Jesus christ

    • Please be kind, considerate, and constructive. Report inappropriate comments to:

Kindly saying this is considerably the most constructive garbage in a while. Perhaps the worse in a while. Hopefully someone can see the positive here.

    • God_boomer true

    • Plus is only a better service when renew months happen like January and June, the rest of the time it’s meh.

The games are OK if you like that kind of games but if you like those games you already own them so you don’t get any thing

    • Agree. Got excited when I saw the Tiny Tina thing. Thought it was the new game coming out. What a fool I was. The new game doesn’t come out until March.

Instead we’re getting DLC for a free “game”??? what?! Even regardless of opinions and what people like and dislike…. aren’t we suppose to get free “games”? DLC is not a game. That’s a fact… not opinion.

    • The whole dlc thing is is called standalone content in the f u world of offering stuff

    • You said it!

    • The standalone DLC is (IMO) even worse considering December just had Godfall: Challenger’s edition which was effectively a demo

    • I can’t argue bucks your so true

    • You said it Babe.. It won’t let me report God_Boom4u when his comment is the more offensive one. :(

    • Sony needs to decide if they want to pour more money into their ev business (which is going to flop hard) or playstation (which is flopping like a fish).
Seriously, who would buy a startup electric car from buggy sony?

    • @banehatesu
Absolutely right, again garbage from EA. 🤮 Ugh

    • Agreed…

    • there plain out bad games all year round hopeing it was farcry 5

    • …back to the crappy games that absolutely no one is going to play. *shrugs* whatever, that’s my constructive criticism, aka opinion which we’re all entitled to.

    • For God’s sake, nothing interesting again. When my sub ends, I’d better pay for a gamepass on my PC…

  • Started off the year strong but this lineup is pretty meh. Also wish you would stop only giving the PS5 version of a game when there is a PS4 version too

    • Also would be nice if they stop doing the opposite too. Giving us PS4 games without the PS5 version.

    • I’d be cool with this if we received the PS5/PS4 version of Tina’s Wonderland. They do this to bilk us out of more money because most PS5 users would prefer the upgraded version. Thanks Sony for doing this to loyal customers every month. It’s time to go to Game Pass for the PC.

  • Great month.

  • Not loving this lineup

    • I thought this was the new Tiny Tina game. Never released they did a standalone release for the 2013 DLC. Nor that the new Tiny Tina game didn’t even come out yet. Really shows how out of touch some of us are after the poor Borderlands 3. (And actually, why didn’t they just give us Borderlands 3 lol)

  • holy… that’s a disastrously bad lineup.

  • Awful month I didn’t expect that this month would be so bad

  • Wow a terrible EA game, a game that costs 5$, and a good game that’s only available for Ps5.
    Great month 10/10

  • We’ve already had the Tiny Tina stuff as part of the Handsome Collection given away on PS Plus in 2019.

You are quite literally giving us something we’ve already had!

    • This:
-Tiny tina is just a gutted down version of something we already have.
      – UFC 4 is a sports game, arguably the cheapest possible game you can add to the lineup.
      – Planet coaster is a niche game that could be fun, but they’re giving only the ps5 version.
So all offerings are a literal middle finger to old subscribers.
It takes skill to purposedly be this terrible

  • another partial game, one that was given away for free already. an old sports game. im letting my ps plus lapse when it ends in a couple months, this is a joke at this point.

  • So I’m guessing the Life Is Strange Remastered Rumor wasn’t true :(

  • I was naive to think after Activision announcement Plus was going to give us a good month, what a letdown… this is awful

    • These deals are probably worked on for months before they become free, way before activivision news.

    • ^ Exactly, so hopefully we get some Activision games in the months to come lol. They kept giving us the “bad” CoD games, they should give us the Modern Warfare reboot before it’s too old.

  • UFC 4 is already available with EA play
Tiny Tina’s demo was free at Epic games
    Zero interest in Planet Coaster

Whenever I say how can this month can get worse Sony shows me “here you are” next month

  • Jesus Christ Sony what’s your problem?

  • Awesome lineup with very diverse title’s. I bloody annoying a game like Tiny Tina’s Assault doesn’t include the PS5 version. We are now more than a year into the “next gen” and Xbox always include all versions of a game. This is a terrible lack of customer service!

    • Oh wait I thought it was the new Tiny Tina game not the mod from 2013. That reduces this line-up to a small pile of garbage.

  • ᕦ⊙෴⊙ᕤ

  • A 5 hour-long standalone DLC and an EA access game? Planet Coaster is okay, but I’m sorry… this is very disappointing. I really hoped that things turned around with the last month being genuinely good, but alas, here we are.

  • A DLC and a Sports game…. Wow.

  • I really liked january line up and thought it was going to get better, but i was wrong

  • This title only on PS4 or only on PS5 is just so lame. It’s the opposite of Xbox’s “smart delivery” benefit. A revamp of this service can’t happen soon enough, though I’m less than confident that this current regime will implement anything other than a lackluster new service if their stewardship thus far is any indication…

  • To bad. Was hoping that Shifu would be among the games in the list

  • I’m done with PS Plus

  • Nice. Wanted to play Tiny Tina and Planet Coaster for a while. This’ll do me nicely until Horizon.

  • Why don’t you adopt a ‘for the players’ approach and give us a cheaper PS+ tier that lets us play online, while opting out of these utterly pathetic games.

    • Honestly, they shouldn’t be charging us to play online anyway. We already pay our ISP, and Sony isn’t maintaining servers for customers to play on. They are literally cutting off your access to your own internet unless you pay extra. It’s incredibly anti-consumer.

    • fr fr no cap

    • I’ve been barking up that tree for over a decade and hardly ever saw anyone else complaining about this. Plenty of Xbots also have a different mentality where they feel they pay for online access and get the games for free (because they used to pay for online without games), whereas PS+ was an optional service where they simply slapped on online costs. Even if you accept online costs as a small fee for security or whatever, I can’t get over the fact they bundled it with PS+ to bump up the price. And it’s hard not to conclude the service has taken a dive since it’s mandatory for online, with only half the games on offer and the occasional price raise. On top of that I’m a advocate for physical gaming, so being forced into a digital service and supporting it just doesn’t sit right with me.
We absolutely need an option where you only pay a small fee for online, as opposed to project Spartacus where they’re willing to make changes to their subscription, but only to make it more expensive. Please keep speaking out on this, people.

    • Well they’d probably lose much money doing that since mostly nobody would pay for them games, and they don’t want that, I think.

    • um, yeah, at this point, I don’t want these games anymore, I just want the multiplayer for the games I’m actually playing.

    • Don’t worry they will do it, ofcourse by making everything more expensive. They will make new subscriptions like the ones right now but only online with no free games for the same price as ps+ now and online+free games for extra cost. How do i know it? Because vast majority will eat it and wont say anything and they know it.

  • Come on Sony, DO BETTER!
Really glad I grabbed that Limited edition Halo Series X when I did, Game Pass is keeping me busy!

  • Not a great month, but still happy with DRG from January, and with Horizon coming out as well in Feb, the month is going to be pretty packed with other top tier games, so doubt people would care what rubbish PS Plus came out with for February anyway. Interested to see what happens when Sony announces Spartacus and to see what the future of PS Plus holds, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

  • 1 of the worst lineup ever. All the anticipation for whattt

  • So where are the VR games or was that just for Christmas.

  • I like Planet Coaster. Reminds me of the old tycoon games, but I have literally zero interest in the other 2. Apparently I own the borderlands thing from a previous ps plus freebie? Strange choice.

  • Looks great, nice to try out other genres I usually don’t play !!
UFC is going to be interesting, never tried that kind of games.
    d;0}

  • Is UFC still a thing?

  • “** PlayStation Plus benefit not applicable for PS5 version of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure.”

This stuff has got to stop, it’s a joke. Especially for games that are the same price on both. January was ok but Plus has been terrible for like the last year, with bad games or bad decisions like this to only give one version of a game, and it’s usually not the version people want. Your headline game isn’t even a PS5 game, super cool.

    • You’re asking for something that doesn’t exist. Assault on Dragon Keep is the DLC for Borderlands 2, and there is no PS5 version of it.

    • Flipkick why would it have 2 stars and then at the bottom say not applicable for ps5 version. Clearly there’s a ps5 version otherwise itd be pointless to put that. There’s probably a ps5 version of the handsome collection where this is included with it and it has faster load times and uprezed graphics.

    • Nope it’s a mistake no ps5 borderlands 2 as well.

  • Ehh Sony what’s going on?
What the f*** are the games?

  • I wish someone sued you, SONY, hard enough, for PS+ being a gate to online gaming, so that you make online gaming available for free to all those who already paid for their internet access.

Nobody with paid internet is paying for access to specific website, so I’m still disappointed you are getting away with this, just like some other platforms.

    • Actually lots of people pay subscriptions to various websites. This particular argument is flawed.

    • People literally pay in droves for news websites like New York Times or Bloomberg……..

    • People pay for news websites and Netflix because that’s how you pay for the content. You pay for the content on a PlayStation when you buy the console and the games. A subscription on top of that is a scam.

    • You’re paying for the information on the website, not the ability to get to it. You can still go to their website, you just need to pay to access their content. We’re already paying for the system and the game and internet and then have to pay sony again just to be able to play it. And it’s worse for games Sony doesn’t own. We have to pay them just to play a game on their system they had no hand in making and have nothing to do with when we already paid Sony for the system. Does a pc manufacturer charge you to have internet on their pc? It’s weird when you think about Microsoft bc when you buy a windows pc you don’t have to pay Microsoft to play online but you do on the Xbox. Makes no damn sense.

  • The Tiny Tina offering alone (AKA: rebranded DLC for a near decade old game which was already given away on PS+ three years ago as part of the more robust Handsome Collection) is enough to sink this month into the depths of PS+ embarrassment.

    Thanks for the crumbs, Sony.

  • Planet coaster isn’t bad for those who haven’t purchased it for ps5 but I already have it other games are a poor offer for what really is a poor month was hoping sony might have treated their customers to a decent month especially after recent Activision buyout from Microsoft news

    • Let’s see
UFC 4 Another sports game and that is always dog poop now and also a cash grab
Planet coaster idk why ppl like this but this is dog s**t
Tina Tinyland is the only game I’m considering getting through my older brother’s account but even then I’m still unsure is this is gonna turn out good

  • Tiny Tina’s is a demo which was already free on Epic. Sony could have at least give out the PS5 version as well.

  • Planet Coaster! Been meaning to give this one a go.

  • Did you hear the news that Microsoft bought Activision-Blizzard? Because this line-up doesn’t reflect this one bit :/

  • Terrible month.

  • Tina’s Assault was great. It came out in 2013, though. The rest is pretty tepid. An EA Sports franchise that I had forgotten existed and another “tycoon” title. Oof. Not inspiring in the least. Also, I STILL can’t buy a PS5…

    • And we already got it as part of the Handsome Collection where it was free DLC.

They’re basically giving us a 9 year old demo.

  • Haven’t ever complained about a ps plus lineup before but yes this is just absolutely a Tobey Flenderson of a lineup.

  • Another BAD month.

  • Eek, a sports game and a decade-old DLC from the PS3. JUST BAD ALL ROUND. SORRY

  • Stop giving us demos of 2K games. We pay for this.

  • Honestly this is one of the worst month’s offerings I’ve seen. If you’re in the minority of players who enjoy sports games in general, but especially UFC, chances are you already own it, or literally any other in the series which would be interchangeable with it since it’s just a yearly release with new graphics/fighters. Tiny Tina is nearing a decade old and again if you care about borderlands, you probably already played it back on ps3, two entire console generations ago. And if anyone actually wants to play planet coaster over the obviously superior, albeit ancient, roller coaster tycoon 2, you can be damn sure they aren’t trying to fumble with the console adapted controls on a gosh dang sim game. Like. Whaat?
I’d have rathered 3 no name indie games to this by a huge degree. At least then a small dev would have been given something of a spotlight and maybe an unnoticed gem could have been popularized like with rocket league way back when. I’m always much more willing to take a chance on something small and underfunded than to play a AAA title I already know what to expect from.

    This almost seems intentional, lol.
I know they can’t all be huge months, but. wow. I’m not going to install even one of these games. I would have questioned Tiny Tina, but I’ve just played so much borderlands over the years I’m honestly tired of it, which is the same reason I didn’t pick it up when it released. If it’s a slow month for getting quality titles I get it, but it giving cheap ass AAA titles is always going to go over worse than some potentially original and undiscovered games. Use your platform better, y’all.

    Bad month, Sony. Bad month.

    • I concur that I would’ve preferred indies. I really enjoyed playing Maquette with my wife last year. What a different and unique experience that was.

  • The entitlement of some people is fascinating. I mean, you obviously can’t please everyone. And here we have much whining over something that’s completely optional? Even one person going so far to say Sony should be sued? Damn kids, time to grow up and realize that the world doesn’t revolve around you. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • Having a playstation is also optional to begin with, from that point of view.
I get that some comments sound entitled but that argument is a non starter.
PS+ is mandatory to play online and probably the main reason many of the subscribers have it for, me included. To promote the service as offering thousands of dollars worth of games yearly when what people really get is stuff like this is bound to rub them the wrong way. But alas, most will not cancel the service because they still play online and in a month they’ll forget this month’s outrage, for better or worse.

    • Ps Plus is losing thousands of subscribers every month and yet, you think you have a valid point.. okay.

We pay to play online, because the games are worthless 90% of the year.

    • afkdaniel, just because you don’t agree with my point, doesn’t make it invalid. And yes, I know people pay to play online, because it’s a business first and foremost, and maintaining servers costs money. The games are a bonus, whether you care for a certain title or not. Again, they can’t please everyone. Some of you sound like you’re expecting AAA titles every month. That’s not how the program was set up. I’ve been subscribing since it’s infancy, and, I can tell you, when they started releasing the games, it was always hit or miss. Also, I’d love to see some stats on your claim of thousands leaving the service. That melodrama sounds like the same “the end is nigh” nonsense from last week when Microsoft bought Activision.

    • Gaming really has gotten to a sorry state. I blame it on the young people.

    • Maintaining servers doesn’t cost Sony. You aren’t playing on servers that are owned or operated by Sony. In many cases, you aren’t playing on servers at all. Sony is simply gating away access to your own internet for a fee. It’s simply an additional source of revenue that has nothing to do with overhead costs and everything to do with gross margin. They don’t make anything from console sales. They have to make up for that with other revenue streams such as subscription service. Since multiplayer games are POPULAR, gating off online play for a monthly fee is an easy source of revenue.

Microsoft started it many years ago, but Playstation 2 customers were resistant, so Sony bundled other things into the “service” such as “free” games, preview plays and demo content. Most games at the time were still free to play online. Only a few were gated behind the Plus subscription. More were gated when the PS3 launched, and now because everyone is used to it, almost everything is gated. The rest of the service has been in decline since customers will pay just for the full access to the games they bought, while thanking Sony for locking their own internet behind a pay wall.

    • 80’sMike:
Do some research before you spit bs.

What game servers does Sony own?

    • And: Because your thoughts are soaked with crap, everything you post in the future is invalid.
      Essentially, you have lost credibility.

    • Or maybe you should stop bending over and accepting whatever garbage Sony wants to shove up inside you while demanding your money for online play.

  • Worst line up ever 😓

  • I’ve read the comments and I’d have to disagree this is a bad month. This month has 3 diverse games that I don’t own. Also PSN has been providing the best value in gaming (just 3.33 a month) and I’ve been a subscriber for over 4 years. PSN has helped me amass over 400 games in my collection with so many games on backlog.

I’ve been holding off on ufc 4 and I’m happy that I did.

Also, I don’t have Planet Coaster and it’s been given pretty good metacritic ratings and user ratings so this is a good edition to my collection

Finally, I want planning on buying Tina Tina so this is another nice selection of a game to try out. I love the Borderland series so more gameplay is welcome. However, If this was already provided in the Handsome Collection as a free psn game in June of 2019. then this is a terrible duplicate unnecessary handout. But if this a stand alone DLC that would make this a good selection.
