  • I Expect You To Die 2! Lets Go!!

  • Ordered my PS5 VR cable adapter in like October but still haven’t received it so my VR headset is basically unusable. What’s going on with that?!

    • Based on some emails, I requested mine on Oct 27th and it was sent on Dec 21st. I can’t remember if that was accurate. I though I got the adapter before I had a PS5. Email subjects: ‘About your request’ for receiving the request and ‘Your PlayStation®Camera Adaptor is on the way’ indicating it had been shipped. Check your email to see if you ever got either of those.

I would try again or contact them. I ordered mine soon as they were available and got it in a less than 2 weeks.

    • Yeah, I got the “About your request” on Nov 3rd, and I received the “is on the way” on Dec 21st as well.

    • I got the same problem and also received the email 😑

    • I have two PSVR headsets and got both adaptors within a few weeks. You should contact support.

    • Same problem. After 5 months of back and forth with PS. 2 vr adapters sent (apparently) none received. Then I bought one from ebay for 5 dollars. Showed up in 3 weeks.

      Hope that helps.

    • As others have said, definitely call, call, call, and call again. I have numerous support tickets for my adapter, but it finally arrived. I probably spent 5-7 hours on hold and calls with them to get it.

  • Uhhh this is so exciting :-D
    Arashi already looks amazing!

  • I really like the format of getting a gift every half hour :)

I am excited for 6 out 7 of these and that is pretty damn good!

  • Great to see there’s still loads of support for original psvr. These games look good, really looking the look of ‘after the fall’!

  • 🤦‍♂️

Pc support is a good thing, more sales more games

    • No it isn’t. Porting games onto PC will just make the PC market bigger since their isn’t any incentive to buying a console anymore. Same thing goes with switch, if they port their games onto PC then there would be no reason to buy their handheld anymore. And it’s not like Sony magically knew their games was gonna sell on PC, they just saw Microsoft expanding THEIR ecosystem to their brand (Windows) Sony isn’t realizing that this will just hurt their console sales in the long run. If they really wanted to make extra money then they’ve should’ve made all their exclusives multiplatform from this point on since that’s all they care about now, instead of staying in touch with their brand.

  • Thanks for highlighting PSVR! My biggest incentive to score a PS5 on launch was in hopes of future VR. Glad I took the leap. Thanks for delivering!

P.S. I’ve been loving PS5 flat games as well, especially with the 3d audio and dualsense etc etc… Thanks guys!

  • Damn, I said I was not going to buy anymore PSVR games until PSVR2 drops. I guess I was wrong, looks like we are ending this generation with a bang.

The best game on VR has to be Iron man

  • Yes, two games that were previously exclusives in 2017 and 2019 have gone to PC in 2021 (and also one more game from 2016 that almost certainly will but has yet to be formally announced). You’re right, let’s just shut the entire Playstation division down because they’re clearly prioritizing PC now.

Get over it. If you can’t be bothered to play a game in, at least, the two year window that it’s exclusively on a console you clearly were never going to play it either way.

  • To Playstation Developers,
I’m not even sure where to share this, but I feel this is the appropriate thread. I’m unsure how to navigate the “Blog,” but I hope this reaches the right person. I have both a problem, and a solution.
The problem is as follows, my PSVR on the PS5 has a small problem, regarding the DS4 controller. Certain VR games (AstroBot is one I tried) require the user to use the PS camera, as well as the headset and controller. Before starting the game, you need to line up the lights on the VR and the light on the front of your PS4 controller with the camera. The problem, this can no longer be played on PS5. This game, along with others that utilize the light bar in front of the controller, are no longer backwards compatible as promised.
Now for the solution. Implement an update that allows you to “Skip” this sequence, by adding the different style lights from your DS4 to line up and be accepted, instead of just PS4 controllers. It seems like an easy task, and would open up the possibilities immensely. I am unsure of how to add a playstation 5 controller to what the camera is searching for, but I feel your team should know exactly how. I hope you can figure out a way I can continue playing PSVR on my new system.
