Hi everyone! Wow, it’s been 10 years since PlayStation Plus was first introduced to the world on June 29, 2010, and we truly want to thank all of you for supporting PS Plus over the past decade. It’s been a memorable journey over the years, bringing gamers together and providing access to compelling content and exclusive discounts for our members. We wouldn’t be here without all of you, so as a thank you, we wanted to make this upcoming monthly games announcement extra special by adding a bonus game to our incredible lineup.
Here are the games for PS Plus members, available July 7 until August 3.

We’ll be releasing a free PS4 theme later this week to celebrate 10 years of PS Plus. The theme will be available on PS Store for a limited time, so be on the lookout. For those of you who haven’t tried the online multiplayer benefit for PS Plus, we’ll also be hosting a free online multiplayer weekend starting July 4 at 12:01AM through July 5 at 11:59PM in your local time. It’s great to see how much PS Plus has grown over the years – starting with the very first PS Plus game offered, WipeOut HD, to offering more than one thousand games to PS Plus members over the last ten years. Sony, these games are all so poor. With these titles, paying for your service feels like insult to injury. You have the same sports simulator that releases every year, a boring reboot of a once interesting franchise and a pretentious indie game that just wants to be a movie. That’s your 10 year anniversary?
You’d think that the quarantine would make you up the ante a little, because everyone is cooped in but your game selection has gotten markedly WORSE. I don’t remember opting to play one since March and the games you released in May were downright insulting. For a ten year anniversary, you’d think we’d get something interesting like Jak trilogy, GoW 4 or Doom 2016. But you pervasively continue to give us these bottom of the barrel garbage games. It’s insulting to the people who pay for this service.
I’d like to add that a free subscription to PS Now would’ve honestly been a better option than what’s on offer from PS Plus this month.
I am just currious how they pick the games ? Does some one pay them ?
I bet they also have to be careful which ones are chosen so they don’t release an ultraviolet game for free that a child could download.
Also the majority of their player base must be considered, I can’t even guess to that demographic.

You know what that’s about exactly what I said. Like I would’ve taken games I already own as the ps+ games over what they released. I wouldn’t gain anything but it’d still be better that this 10 year Anniversary bull****
