Here’s a new one! We always love letting you all vote on every year’s best games around the end of the year, so we figured we’d extend the action to the new announcements from this year’s E3! Check the polls below to vote for this E3 2017’s best trailer, as well as your most-anticipated PS4 and PS VR titles. Remember — across the board, we’re only considering titles that were shown at E3, or had reveals, announcements, or trailers at the show.

Polls close Tuesday, June 20 at 12:00pm Pacific, so you’ve got some time to think on it… but don’t forget! Now, on to the polls:

Sorry to be disappointed in Sony’s E3, but I am, and very. It’s sad when a re-rerelease of Shadow of the Colossus outstrips everything else shown. Matterfall looks interesting, but I’m not hyped for it.

I would have liked to see Heavenly Sword II from Ninja Theory, using their idea for a sequel rather then anything from the DVD movie of Heavenly Sword. And I know it’s a long shot, but Legaia 3 would have been great! Maybe a new Ape Escape? I would have really liked to see Musashi 3 from Square-Enix too.

I’d also like to know why Monster Hunter World is a game close to Shawn Layden’s heart? When he said that I certainly wasn’t expecting Monster Hunter. It’s almost as if a different trailer for a different game was going to be played for that comment, but was pulled or swapped at the last moment. Maybe he’s just a big fan of Monster Hunter and he’s happy it’s back on Playstation in some form?

Anyway, it just seems Sony is sitting on a bunch of IP’s that are far more interesting. Here’s an idea, if you aren’t going to do anything with Heavenly Sword could you give it back to Ninja Theory so they can work with another publisher to multi-plat a sequel?

  Oh yes, Moss looked good, but if it’s VR only then it’s off my radar. I don’t own a PSVR and this sounds harsh, but I’ve no intent to buy one either.

I like Shadow of Colossus, but I need a sequel (which is a direct sequel/prequel, not the last guardian) not a remake… Monster Hunter will win

Not my favorite PlayStation conference but that really just says something about how completely great they have been lately. But it was lacking, for me, that really great surprise. I love we got a remaster surprise but was looking for that big reveal or two. I guess PSX will speak volumes as to if there is one or if PS just doesn’t need E3 that much anymore.

God of War was my favorite trailer but man, am I looking forward to Anthem. that games looks CRAZY! For VR… was torn between Superhot VR and The Inpatient. How was Fishing Fantasy in the VR reel and not Superhot?!?

Did you see Kingdom Hearts III? That is going to be amazing. Killer magic sequences.

Evil Within 2 is the bomb. Dissidia FF NT is going to be huge.

Destiny 2 most anticipated.

Lackluster Sony Presentation. Most of the games were previously announced last year. No big surprises. Most of the crowd barely clapped during the shots where they panned the crowd. Very boring.

Where were the indies? Half of previous presentations were on the indies where the little companies can’t afford a big presentation to get them marketing and press. sony’s presentation felt cut short.

We need a new portable/phone system. the switch is going to steal the early dollars with Zelda, Mario and Metroid Prime 4. Why is Layden still confused about Vita in the U.S.? Make it affordable, with affordable non-propriatory memory cards.

The Xperia phones are very nice but sparse. The Xperia XZ Premium is very nice.

Sony Xperia Vita, make it happen. Best of both worlds. One true device for my pocket.

There should have been a VR price cut along with the PS4 price cut and the items will be flying off the shelf not collecting dust. M$ will be left behind with their pricey X1X which is just an expensive reminder on how they failed this generation. That should have been their Elite system with the Elite controllers and it would have sold better then.

the only thing M$ has is backwards compatibility. Sony could do this and pick the easy fruit from the tree. Why are we buying digital games from the store? We should be able to play our purchases where ever we choose which is the newest best system on the market. we should have to rely on a system that is over 7 years old to play these games where we risk the drives expiring and we cannot find replacements anymore. It is not like Sony is still make PS2s to PS2 games or even PS3 to play PS3 games because they are not backwards compatible and the only way i can play them is on the older systems. I have over 400 PS3 discs. My ps3 is precious in my house so I can play these games.

Make the back catalog of games cheaper and people will play them either for nostalgia, new playing, or teach the new generations the stories and fun I had when I grew up. I love watching my son playing the original Final Fantasy. I get delight watching him take on the Terra Cave, fighting the Giants and getting to the Lich King. There is still life in the old games. You cannot expect developers to continue to make remastered versions of their franchises.

PS Plus really needs to take hold of the other half of the Playstation Store. The movie/video side. We should get an Instant Movie Collection. This will boost PS Plus sales, PS Store Sales, and traffic to the stores. This will boost the use of the Playstation Video App and also make people want to buy more movies from the Store.

Sony there is more money to be had and more money that we want to give you.

this E3 was disappointing :(. I wanted Sony to announce at least 1 new game. I know that M$ E3 was crap but still, Sony should have shown most of what they originally intended to.

While it wasn’t my top pick, I was really excited to see Shadow of Colossus come to PS4. I will be getting it for sure. Now if you guys can get Rockstar to remaster Read Dead Redemption for PS4.

Best Trailer – The Inpatient

Most Anticipated – Gran Turismo Sport

VR Overall – Skyrim

Detroit, Days Gone, God of War, Hot Shots, Spiderman, and many more look great. They will be super high quality titles built on 20+ years of expereince in 3D games. At the end of the day though, Traditional Displays, and Dual Shock controllers can not even scratch the surface of the expereince and story telling possible in VR.

Voted on GoW as best trailer cuz Spidey wasn’t a trailer it was a gameplay demo but overall Spidey was best no doubt about it.That snake on GoW though holy crap…Santa Monica always showing what a talented team can do.

Insomniac’s Spider-Man was the best thing I saw in the whole Sony’s E3. The trailer was gorgeous.

Shadow of the Colossus looked pretty as well, but I have already played it in both previous iterations, not buying it again.

In the Most Anticipated PS VR Game – really should include DOOM VFR! Played it at last year’s QuakeCon on VIVE and it was incredible! It’s my most anticipated GOTY in any category!

Monster Hunter for best reveal and most anticipated game. Don’t get me wrong. I’m stoked for Days Gone, Spider-man, God of War, and Destiny 2 (and let’s not forget about The Last of Us 2, despite it not being at the show this year). But I’ve been waiting for a Sony Console MH for the last 11 years (been a fan since it launched on PS2 in 2004 and was heartbroken when MH3 was cancelled for PS3 as it jumped ship to the Wii; blegh).

TL;DR: Monster Hunter. I’ll probably buy 12 of them.

where’$ Boxing psvr option. 007 we used to have one after every movie. y do you make race simulator games that allow people to use joysticks. No real Tennis games psvr option . I should be able to play my ps 1,2 and 3 games on ps4 out of the 450 games on ps now 2 I might play House of the dead but is it playable with ps move controller $60 a month 4 1 game is too much where’$ Time Crisis ,,Ninja assault, gun con psmove games shooter. all these new games are dumb and boring advertisments with no in game play tells me a lot Just saying psn. .

I like E3 2017 , but I do have to say that that I think developers need to slow down on showing fans games that are 2 and 3 years away . It’s very hard to be a gammer and see games that you know it’s 2-3 years away . If they are hat far out of being ready …. what is the point on showing it to us ….. they need to put them-self in our shoes and see how it feels to know how it really feels . The industry has not gotten a little out of control In my openion and it’s nice to see trailer after trailer after trailer but what the use with no release date . Sorry so long . And thank you .
