Tickets Update: We’re looking into issues users are having getting tickets to this year’s E3 Experience. Stay tuned for updates.

5/31 Update — Some changes and updates on ticket and seat availability:

  • Ticket registration will open today, Wednesday 5/31/17, at 1:30PM PT.
  • There was a brief system test last night which allowed a small number of tickets to be claimed. As of this morning there are still plenty of tickets remaining at each theater.
  • If you received a ticket confirmation email you are guaranteed a seat at the event if you present your valid ticket at least 30 minutes before show time.
  • We will be admitting those without tickets on a first-come first-served basis after all present ticket holders are seated.

E3 is almost here and I’m excited to announce that the PlayStation E3 Experience is returning for 2017! Join us on Monday, June 12th in over 85 theaters across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

This is the fourth year we’re broadcasting our E3 Press Conference live to theaters across North America and I can’t wait to bring the excitement of E3 straight to you. Watching the announcements and news alongside other members of the PlayStation community is an experience like no other.

Attendees will take home an exclusive poster and #76 from the PlayStation Collectable Card series. This will be the only way to get your hands on these, so don’t miss out! Want more than just limited edition swag? We’ve got you covered — everyone will also get a digital gift basket chock-full of goodies from PlayStation Store.

Tickets for US and Canada

Tickets are 100% free and will be available at playstation.com/E3experience starting Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 AM PT while supplies last. To register for a ticket, you will need to create a free Gofobo account. Tickets will be sent to the email address used to create your Gofobo account.

Attendees who have registered for a ticket will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater reaches capacity. Make sure to arrive early! Receiving a ticket does not guarantee you a seat. Attendees must be 17 years of age or older to attend this event. A valid form of ID providing age will be required to enter.

    Scheduled Maintenance

    We are currently performing scheduled maintenance on our site.

    The maintenance is scheduled Monday, September 26, 2016 between 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM Pacific Time.

    During this time, our site will be unavailable. We hope this won’t be too much of an inconvenience as we work to perform some necessary upgrades.

    Sony use “free lunch,” and let new users in PlayStation. It’s a good strategy, but they underestimated the enthusiasm of the users. Also, overestimate the partner’s network affordability. :D

    Why not create or use a site that allows you to register your account earning points and to get the ticket you need from multiple sites that you get though direct links like Ticketmaster, fandango, tugg, fathom in case one crash and only allow pay with the site you register your account #@$! F***

    Are we ever going to be able to get tickets? :( Gofobo has been down for 3 and a half hours now. I’m really looking forward to the E3 experience, and I hope this doesn’t keep people who were actually trying to get tickets on time from getting into the event.

      I’m only level 14 but have been to this event each year. I have spent a lot of money on Playstation products and services. Are you saying I’m not worthy of this event?

    Its not like this is the only way to watch but actually going to this is 10X better than watching it from home. But that also depends on how far the theater is from you. If its almost a 2hr drive then its not worth it. By them using this site which is not designed to handle this much traffic it might cause people to not go. It took me like 15-20 mins and i clicked right at 1pm just like everybody else and that was cause the site would majority of the time be able to handle it.

    I got tix around 1030 but my bros haven’t since been able to get to the webpage they should have announced sign ups last week because there’s still a lot of unanswered questions about seating since I assume site crashing because everyone thinks you must sign up first to get seating which seems to be different this year

      You need an email stating you signed up to go to the E3 experience. You just can’t show up and think that will get you in even the waiting list needs an email confirm.

      I would prob do the same if the theater that is showing it wasnt at least 1hr away. I wouldnt mind driving like 35 mins or so and then get told its full but with how far it can be ticket would be nicer.

    I’ve been refreshing from 1pm est to 3:40pm and the site is still dead worse is that i was on checkout and then it crashed. I dont understand why dont you guys just make the theatres sale the tickets directly instead or atleast make Canadian and US go to different seller so we don’t all have to cram on one site.

    One has to imagine that when organizing these things that Sony gives the companies an estimate of the web traffic this will create. And I assume these companies tell Sony they can handle that. Hope Sony gets a credit back for the poor experience that Gofobo has created for its customers.

    It’s odd that this is the one year I’ve been familiar with the ticketing merchant, and this is now the year I’ve had the most trouble getting tickets. I think last year it soft crashed on checkout, but since you had like 30 mins to checkout the site stated there were no tickets available for the next little while. But I was able to get tickets once the 30-45 minute reserves had all expired.

    Isn’t there an expression about insanity and how doing the same things over and over again but expecting a different result is its definition? Why does PlayStation insist on doing the same/similar ticket purchasing process with every event they put together, particularly the E3 Experience, and expect a different result? Perhaps it is time to get it together and try something new, or at the very least, ensure the original process doesn’t fail every year.

      They did try something new. Eventgrid was the service they used in the past. They tried Gofobo this year. And that’s what happens when you try something new.

      They keep trying new things and that’s why it gets worse. eventgrid in 2015 was awful, it crashed a ton, I’m not ashamed to admit that. 2016 was SIGNIFICANTLY better, you could get to the ticket reservation phase and it would hold tickets if the site crashed, for almost an hour. gofobo so far, almost 3 hours later, hasn’t managed to stay up longer than 15-20 seconds. I know a few people who got tickets RIGHT at the start, and nothing since.

      It is even more mind boggling when you think about crashing a “so-called ticketing site” – When is the last time you had a site crash when ordering opening night Star Wars tickets at your local cinema…. keep in mind Star Wars is playing on more screens?
      Why don’t they use Fandango at least?

      I don’t mean a new service, I mean a new process altogether. They’ve cycled through different services for years now, all with the same, or similar results. Perhaps it’s time to try a new process, or at the very least, a service that is designed to accommodate these types of programs.

    Got my tickets! Phew, finally found a method that works…

    First, track down an old Motorola Razr v3. Mine is red but I’m not sure if the color really matters. Also, the browser version has to be v1.02038, NOT v1.020381! Seriously, it won’t work. Once you have your browser opened, close it. Seems counter-intuitive, I know, but you’ll want to actually open up your contacts. Add a contact named “Mom” and enter in your mother’s phone number. Don’t call her, DON’T! Not like you were going to anyways…but don’t, or this won’t work.

    Next, go back to your browser and go to youtube. Search for videos about beer pong in video games, watch exactly 3 of them for not more than 29 seconds each, and during the last video you’ll want to go to the Gofobo page. It should work!
