Naughty Dog classics Jak and Daxter, Jak II, Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing get an HD upgrade later this year.
The dynamic duo is back!
We are delighted to announce that Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 will be available on PS4 via download at PS Store later this year! Longtime fans and new players alike can experience the incredible exploits of Jak and Daxter as the duo sets out to explore ancient lands and unravel the mysteries of the Precursors.

That’s right! Jak X: Combat Racing, Naughty Dog’s wild vehicular combat PS2 classic will be available for the first time anywhere since its release back in October 2005. Originally released for PS2, Jak X will make its way onto PS4 later this year. Play Adventure or Exhibition mode in this no-holds-barred buggy brawler for hours of challenge and fun. Although there will be no online features you can still battle against your friends via splitscreen.
Experience these Naughty Dog PS2 classics with 1080p up-rendering and Trophy support. Additional enhanced features include Shareplay, Remote Play, and Activity Feeds (an active PlayStation Plus membership is required to use certain online features).

Can’t wait! Tired of plugging PS2, PS3 and PS4 depending on what I want to play. I have to say though, I am VERY tired of paying for a game every time a new console comes out just so I don’t have to keep every console. It is the same game.
Please, 60fps, that’s all I want, you can run it at the old resolution or at least give us an option for 60fps. Please!!!

But on a side note, 60 fps?
YES!!!!!!!!!! Jak-x. Can’t wait. Can we please have ps2 games playable on other devices? Vita or a new handheld maybe.Should be able to play them on the go
try to get it but i had a 160gb original slim PS3 so i got a 2nd chance!
What kind of world is this where we can’t get Crash Team Racing but we can get Jak X? Seriously, is this the best we can do as a society?
It’s a world where Sony doesn’t own the rights to Crash and they still own the rights to Jak and Daxter. Maybe Activision will let Vicarious Visions do CTR down the line but for now enjoy what we are getting.
In addition to what Space said, CTR is ALREADY available on PS3. Jak X NEVER got any re-releases till now. Also, Crash Coll is being remade, whereas JaD Coll is not. Lastly, Jak X is part of a ported Tetralody, CTR is only one game. CTR will probably be remastered later, or ported to PS4 after CBColl.
