Hey PS Plus members, let’s get in the Halloween spirit with this month’s free games lineup for October, 2016.

First up, we have Resident Evil. What better way to get excited for the holiday and the upcoming Resident Evil VII than by going back to the start of it all? This year Capcom is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the franchise, and this remastered HD version is the perfect way to enjoy the game. So whether you’re reacquainting with old friends Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, or meeting them for the first time, get ready to learn the secrets of the mansion that lies on the outskirts of Raccoon City.
Next up is Transformers: Devastation. Drawing on the talents from the original Transformers TV series for the story and voice work, the game should feel pleasantly familiar to fans. Fabled developer PlatinumGames also delivers a fun and rewarding combat system with their signature fast-paced action. With your choice of five Autobots, get in there and battle against the Decepticons and Insecticons to save earth from Megatron’s evil plans.

We’ll see you in the comments section. Enjoy.
even though i enjoy a good visual novel, i would love to see a decent JRPG on the Vita, i know we had a few rpg’s before and as good as those were, they were.. unusual?
Still, in saying that, this is a decent line up of good variety,
Love it,but can you put in new games?
We should be given a choice. If I have already bought a game like Resident Evil, I should be offered the choice of another game, or, you need to start by posting what the games are going to be for the next 12 months, I bought Resident Evil recently, so I am getting no value from my subscription. I don’t care about Transformers, I’ll never play it, and I no longer use my PS3 and won’t ever buy a Vita. The idea is simple, if a user has one or all of the games on their account already because they bought it, give the offer on a game they haven’t spent money on. Doesn’t cost Sony anything, actually makes people not cancel their subscription because they will feel that they are getting value for money, and make Sony more money. This keeps happening to me. Please change the way you give games away on PS PLUS, please give me something I haven’t already bought.
I think that for every month, Sony has to strike a deal with the publisher and pay them an agreed-upon lump sum. It’s not like they can give away just any game at any time…
@ oliversmith2 – Lol.
“Transformers Devastation” was very cheap two or three months ago, is the same way every year, most of the “plus games” are very cheap on the flash sales and then are labeled as free rented games.
I own the two versions, one on PS3 and the other on PS4, is the way it is… people buy it cheap on the sales or waited a year on the plus.
Well said. Ps plus is becoming as big of a rip-off as the BBC TV licence.
