Attention, PS Plus members! We’re happy to share your free PS4 games for next month. Prepare to raise a little mayhem in the depths of hell, or battle brutal bosses in a strange, ruined world.

PlayStation Plus: Free Games for July, 2016

First up, we have Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. Enter the open-world sandbox setting of New Hades and wreak havoc. If you’re even remotely familiar with the Saints Row franchise, you know that over-the-top antics are waiting for you. The developers at Volition have been honing their craft on this franchise, and playing Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is a great way enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Next up is Furi, a new title from The Game Bakers. Built on the premise of making a game that is both simple and deep, Furi is a fast-paced, intense, and ultimately rewarding gameplay experience. While play mechanics allow for an easy approachability, the depth comes from the ways with which you use those skills to take on unique opponents. Furi pits you against guardians, each with his own style, in what feels more like carefully crafted duels than boss fights. The Game Bakers have made something special, and we hope you enjoy it.

PlayStation Plus Extra: Paragon

As an added benefit this month, PS Plus members get early access to Paragon before it hits open beta on August 16. Paragon is the new MOBA from legendary developer Epic Games. Besides getting to play the game before it hits open beta, you will also receive a Starter Pack that includes three Master Challenges for the heroes Gadget, Murdock, and Rampage (to unlock skins, XP boosts, emotes, deck slots, and more — a $40 value).

    Not the worst lineup but definitely disappointing. A poorly received expansion pack and a psp game… furi looks cool and I love trying new indie titles though. I’m looking forward to oreshika as well but hopefully August is better!

    Furi looks like the typical stupid indie game but that’s OK. My only real issue is that Fat Princess was already a PS Plus game. Pretty sure it was just there last year. Know it’s on my PS Plus download file so no confusion here. If you really can’t get us something new on PS Plus, just hook us up with a PS2 classic on PS4 instead of dumping a game you already gave us.

      Nope. Check out the “List of Instant Game Collection games (North America)” on Wikipedia and you’ll see it’s not there.

      Maybe you played the “Fat Princess: Piece Of Cake” mobile game and earned a PSN code for the full PS3 game after beating level 15.

    Thank you so much for giving us a psp game for the ps vita lineup, it’s a way to remember how good the psp really was, keep it going. Hopefully next month we can get Tactics Ogre or No Heroes Allowed. A strategic or rpg game would be fine. I repeat, thank you for the psp games.

    Well hell.. Color me impressed. Much better choices for july lineup, broader fanbase of either type opposed to last month’s, which had limited fanbases. I’ll probably enjoy both of these. _.Although, why am i alread dreading the August lineup?

    Lol wait Japan gets Evil within, a full budget AAA game that looked good and I wanted, but here we get screwed with a standalone expansion nobody wants to a game some people have, and some indie boss battle game, as well as a downloadable COJ which has been like 3 dollars on sale multiple times…….don’t know why I got my hopes up for Sony to not return to sh it offerings from PS plus and never giving gamers what they want, all the while Xbox Gold continues to dominate free giveaways

    hey i never really say anything on these forums but please don’t have a game a week before getting it on sale but if you do give us a head ups! also i always like the ps plus games every month! this line up look great! i just ask for a heads up if a game comes on sale a week earlier and then st row come for ps plus. like don’t put a game on sale for like 3 weeks if it coming to ps plus in a week or 2 or if you do just tell us whats the ps plus games a few weeks earlier ? anyways thank for your time and great work! also i didn’t buy this game so it does not effect me! im just saying it would suck if this did happen! and i feel bad for people who bought this on Tuesday and find out Thursday your getting this game for free for ps plus in 5 days! it just seems like a last effort to sell it! it just does not look good for my point of view! take care ! either way im always looking forward to see what come next! SONY always keeping me happy! thanks! PS any release date on the tomorrow children? lol

    PSP games are not Vita games. Getting pretty sick of that bending of the rules. Noticing some REAL old PS3 games lately too, but still a solid month for PS+. Really was looking forward to playing Oreshika, so I’m real glad PS+ happened to beat me to buying it!

    I think its fair to say that perhaps to assist there should be a rotation of games to try to cover all genres. Perhaps a shooter, sports and a other games each month. What would also be good would be the ability to request missed games from when your cover of playstation plus starts (this would then repay loyalty) and gamers could try games that they missed.

    As I’d have loved to have tried Rocket League and a number of other older PS4 games that were part of playstation plus.

    Sony always manages to put out a game that I would be at least interested in trying. Good on you Sony. I just wish that games got discounted a little closer to their release dates since I’m usually too impatient to wait for a sale.

    A lot of the community agrees, that we should get The Evil Within, for August. It was released to Japan, but the question is can we get it in the U.S ?

      Why should we get it? Where’s the reasoning? Each region have different people in charge who deal with PS+ games. Some people start hyping that we’ll get what the other region did, and all that does is hype people up and end in disappointment. It’s like a kid in a sandbox has a different toy than you, so now you fuss for what you have and want his toy.

    Would of been nice to get resident evil 6 for ps3 since 7 is on the way. Games seem ok this month on ps3 and the same for ps4. Last month’s was last better.

    Looks like another disappointing month :(. During looks enjoyable for maybe an hour. Saints Row is garbage :(. And please no more sports games. After the crap you gave us last month. I know they are free games but we are still paying for the service.

    Saints Row is a great addition, just wish they didn’t use a game that was on sale for like $6 a week ago!….that I and I’m sure a lot of others bought for that price.

    great stuff playstation, another few games to add to my library of games, saints row is always fun, and furi im looking forward to giving it a go,

    i just dont get how people moan month after month about the titles, you pay next to nothing a month, and get online services and few games,

    i buy and play the games i like on ps4, if the monthly free ones are not to my liking that month i pass on them,but add to my library, then if i have nothing to play down the line ill download one and give it a try,

    keep up the good work sony, yeah ps plus isnt perfect but for what you pay a month its good value in my opinion, you cant please everyone, one thing i would like to know why cant we go back to the choosing 1 of 3 games, like we did the month grow home won?

    Fury looks interesting. Never cared for the Saints Row games, but you can’t complain because that’s a AAA game right there, as was NBA 2k16 last month. Oreshika is awesome, such a good game. If you own a Vita, cop that. Good month all around!

    This is an awesome month! I’ve been waiting to try Saints row, but never pulled the trigger. Now I can!
    Super excited for Paragon! I’ve had early access since it was released a few months ago. Glad my friends can finally join me!

    Pretty cool I beat Saints Row 4 on PS3 but never played any of the DLC. So playing this should be fun.

    you are NOT PAYING for the instant game collection.. you ARE PAYING for the online!!!!! anything dealing with PLUS.. you know this symbol + that a free PLUS addition as a thank you for paying. so complaining about something thats a giveaway is just stupid. how about you be a adult and do what i do.. BUY the games you want :) Ive been doing that since the 90s. games have been up for purchase since video games first had an exsisence. if you dont have anything nice or graceful to say then why even comment???

      You pay for plus, they still have ps3 for free online right. On top all you need is one active account with plus as your home console on your home console and any account on your console can play online. So you’re really not paying for the online. They make deals with company’s using people’s money from plus to make these deals. Wanting a say in what we’d like to see with it, is not a crime.

    For the love of god… What are you guys doing, are you trying to pull all of our legs. I mean I’ve been a die hard fan for ps for so many years and to be stripped from the privilege of actually getting a good lineup, actually contemplating whether to go to xbox. Microsoft have been killing it with their line up, I mean in the long run atleast if I got a membership with them I would be able to play online with my PC friends and actually have a lineup of A rated games, I mean really. I’ll give you credit for last month but literally it’s been dead, the only two options I have is to either live in Japan and actually receive a great line up from playstation or get an xbox. Still baffles me of why US doesn’t do what Japan does but hey, just another customer right.

      LOL you’re on PlayStation for the wrong reasons then, kid. It’s all about the exclusive games; these PS+ games are just bonuses. One day when you’re old enough, you can get a job, which will allow you to collect the funds to spend on the games you actually want to get – not day one by any means, but also when a nice sale happens. :)

    LOOKS GREAT TO ME!!!! first time in a long time that they are offering decent games. maybe this could be a sign of better things to come. the last time i saw a good game on the roster, it was called rocket league. the other, infamous: first light. LOOKING FORWARD TO ACTUALLY DOWNLOADING GAMES FOR MY PS4! it has been sitting in the ashes of its soul. waiting…………………….

    Furi looks terrible and saint’s row 4 is literally $2.99 on steam as I type this. Paragon is free to play… Pretty awful month for ps4 players.

    Okay , yes we will have whiners ..and some who “think ” July was a good freebie. I call B*****t , I have had plus since first roll out on PS3 , that plus gave you some awesome titles for free. Hell first year was awesome, so what do we get… We buy a $500.00 system (cheaper now) pay a fee for online access now(thanks xbone ) and what do we get in return a bunch of Indy crap , remastered games most of us beat on PS3 , bottom of the barrel games no one wanted to play or yeah I might try it.

    Sony this is to you … How many titles do you currently own under Santa Monica studios , how about the leaked information on possible line up. Your as bad as EA , the consumer speaks and you just disregard and do your own thing! Why the EA reference …1 word Battlefield ……where the hell is BFBC3… No they also give us fail after fail. I swear if I didn’t hate Microsoft so damn bad I would switch … Get your SHAT together and give us games that don’t just use up our HDD space and disappoint on so many levels !!!

    Wow it is quite a disappointment. Especially after having good games for so long it feels let playstation have gave up on such fun titles. The most surprising part is that there are really cheap games they can buy in bulk that are amazing EX: wild arms the port the PS3 for only six dollars probably cheaper in bulk. If they did that people would actually be happy because it is a fine port of a beloved classic and many people don’t even know there is a wild arms port. An actual example of when they did this in the past was Duke Nuke: Megaton Editin it was good ol fun Duke Nukem for free with your subscription. Or when they chose more intricate and memorable games transistor essentially the spiritual Sussecor to bastion. They had done mugh in the past that it is obvious that they don’t know what to do with game Iine ups now that to actually enjoy the ps4 you have to own a ps plus subscription. Even that that is a problem they still do sometimes have some decent sales for ps plus members.

    OMG, I finally get to play Gat out of Hell. I have played 1-4 but then I got tired of paying for PS Now.
