Well, you’ve done it again! After an exciting Vote to Play campaign, PlayStation Plus users have selected Broforce as the first title in March’s PS4 free games lineup. You picked it, you got it!
If you’re a fan of the other two games, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Assault Android Cactus and Action Henk will be available for PlayStation Plus members with a 30% discount from March 8th to March 21st.
So what can you expect as a bro in Broforce? You’ll fight evil and rescue bro teammates using fire, napalm, and whatever else you find in the name of freedom. We hope you enjoy this run ‘n’ gun shooter with up to four of your closest bros.
Next up, Galak-Z, a two dimensional sci-fi shooter taken to the next level. Pilot your ship through this physics-driven, procedurally generated world while surviving several enemy factions. Wait, did I mention that your ship can transform into a laser sword-wielding Mech? Can this get any better? (Hint: Stay tuned for exciting news about Galak-Z in the coming weeks.)
Full Lineup

Until next time! Enjoy.
Shouldn’t be surprised, one good month finally with Helldivers and then its right back to the same old garbage :( The PS Plus games stopped being worth it long ago and, with the recent outages, I’m having a hard time seeing how the online features of Plus are either at this point.
I hate to chime in with the negativity, but wow, this is an awful month.
i would also really like to see some games with at least a little bit of time put into the development. I get that the pay to play cell phone game platform is growing but a lot of us have been console gamers for years and have no desire to leave the trappings of our 4th generation playstation to play games that look like they would be at home on a regular NES. Graphics arent everything but they are something. Same can be said for depth, most of these cheap indie games lack any sort of depth. I couldnt believe how disappointed i was with zombie vikings and the fact that it was a weak version of rayman that wanted me to pay almost 1/2 the price of the game for a new character skin…. PLEASE stop supporting these lazy developers. let them see that without their game being free no one wants it.
As soon as I saw the list I knew broforce was going to win. Mostly because it is completely inane and I hated it at first glance. (I hated it even more after watching the video.)
I think this may be the first time I’m not interested in any of this. I’ll still add them to potentially check -out when I’m looking for something new, I have been pleasantly surprised before, but nothing that seems interesting. More to the point, we seem to emphasizing shooter/brawl style games this month which just doesn’t interest me. I like getting indies, so that’s not the complaint, but upping the variety every month would be nice.
Awful PS3 game selection. The games themselves aren’t awful, but at this point in the PS3’s lifecycle we should be getting formerly AAA titles on PS+, not ancient indie ones.
This is just getting sad at this point.
Sony needs to look at their competitors games and give us some games that are well known.NOT POO POO
I really don’t get all these people complaining…i’ve been looking for galak-z since its launch, last year. Seems to be a great addictive game. The same for Broforce: i’ve been looking to play it since it launched on PC a while ago, but I have a Mac and use it only for working. So, I wait for these indie games to appear on the PS4 to play them.
I’ve been playing mostly indie games since I bought the PS4, but only because it was my choice. I bought Infamous and The Witcher a while ago, but they’re still on my backlog because some indie games are keeping my attention away from those AAA that are kind of always the same thing on and on again since i was a teenager. My most played games on the PS4 are Rocket League and Rogue Legacy. :)
Please keep the indies coming, I love them! And i love trying them for only the PS+ subscription fee, one that i’d pay anyway to play online.
Galak-Z sounds good on paper, so I will probably give it a try.
The rest of these games are almost embarassing, especially Reality Fighters. Wtf, really? As a Vita owner from almost day one, PLEASE spit in my face a few more times, Sony. You have already been pretending the system doesn’t exist for years, so you might as well keep that trend going, right?
Yikes.
Worst offering yet for PS4. I am tired of Sony striking deals with publishers because they know their game isn’t good enough to be profitable. There is a difference between SUPPORTING indie devs and straight up BANK ROLLING their failures. Stop giving us games that you know are going to fail because they are poorly made. PS+ is strictly for hipsters, they give us the worst possible garbage and say “it’s so bad it’s good”. No it’s so bad that if Sony didn’t make it a PS+ it would fail and maybe teach the dev that you have to put out quality games in order to survive as a business. Instead Sony is telling all these terrible devs that they can make absolute junk and still make money because Sony will just force it on their customers. So tired of Sony’s bull****.
Not happy with the overhyped indies and meeh games on PS4, they bring it on to your PS3.
IN PS3 BRING GOOD GAMES PLEASE, AT LEAST 1 AAA GAME
Terrible lineup, like last month. I regret ever buying PS+
That’s it im not renewing my ps plus subscription im sticking with my pc :( why do I even still have my ps4 I should of sold it when my ps plus subscription ended.
People can love indie games, people can dislike indie games: that’s cool. It’s undeniable that the monthly games have been slanted towards indie titles for the past year or so & that’s bound to cause polarizing opinions across the board.
I’m a AAA game person, but I’m also old enough to have been gaming since the days of Commodore 64. I’ve had first-hand playing time with the type of gaming many of these indies recreate, and I’m not interested in going back.
I don’t care if PS+ offers up only indie games as the monthly ‘freebies’. The weekly deals and the PS+ discount I receive on them hold much more interest for me. I’ve easily earned back my membership fee investment with all the AAA games I’ve purchased with my + discount. I get more excited for Tuesday around 3:00pm EST than for the monthly free announcements.
My long, rambling point here is there’s a definite benefit to being a PS+ member no matter what side of the divide you fall on. Keep those weekly discounts coming!!!
Very well said, I for one am looking forward to Bro force (was gonna be a day one purchase for me, but hey FREE!!) and Galak-Z
I’ve been pretty disappointed with the free selections on PS and XB as well, but I don’t base my gaming library on free titles, I buy a lot of games and I always take advantage of Plus discounts as well Gold discounts, when there’s something I want.
Plus has paid for itself many times over, year after year with the discounts and flash sales, the free games are just icing on the cake, although mostly disappointing icing haha
