Every month I come here and see people complaining. First off, they’re free games, you are not entitled anything, especially not any recent AAA games.
You want to complain because you bought Uncharted on you PS3 and you feel like you should be given it for free because you can no longer play them or something. First off, have you no clue in the work that went in to remastering those games? Second off, it’s not Sony’s fault that you can no longer play them if you no longer have your PS3. I still have my PS3 hooked up to my TV and if I want to play Uncharted, I just turn it on. Hell, I still have my PS2 hooked up to my TV for when I get that Timesplitters itch.
As for the people that occasionally throw a fit and say they’re going to go to Xbox One, just go.
Quit being salty because you’re not getting the games you want for free, you’re not entitled a handout and you don’t get to decide what a company should give out for free, you sound like a whiny annoying little baby, just go pout in a corner instead of coming online to throw a fit.
Im quoting izogray here when I say: Can we cut the “free game” garbage. It’s disingenuous, even if you put the “with an active subscription” in small print under it. Let’s stop training people to think that paying for something is free. Any reasoning that is saying it’s a short hand description is flat out wrong and lazy. Let me repeat, wrong and lazy. We all speak in slang and if PS+ offered anything else that is worth a subscription (it doesn’t) it might not be so annoying.
PS+ doesn’t offer anything of real value outside of the games. Multiplayer being gated behind it on PS4 hasn’t increased the quality of the online or given us extra features. Noteworthy sales feel few and far between.
Marketing has a job to do but do it cleaner.
The subscription fee is for us never having to deal with the crap we had to put up with in the “free” online during the PS3. It was a horrible online experience. So the free games and discounts are the PLUS
we pay our money just like you sorry if we demand more for our hard earned bucks than you but some of us are not happy with the recent linups if you are that’s fine but don’t knock others because they have different tastes than you. I hate most indie games to artsy for my taste but I also hate lifetime movies game shows and reality tv guess that makes me a horrible person for having my own opinion.
