This February you can protect Super Earth in an intergalactic war while feeding soup to aliens! Presenting your free PS Plus games for February on PS4.

Set in a satirical and dystopian future, Helldivers offers chaotic combat against three invading enemy species. This top-down shooter focuses heavily on teamwork, as squads battle to become Heroes of the Federation. So grab your friends and take on the invaders — just be sure to watch out for friendly fire!

In Nom Nom Galaxy, you’ll enjoy a variety of gameplay; platforming, mining, base construction, resource management, tower defense, and of course, making soup. As a new Astroworker for SoupCo, you’ll be producing different soups to keep the aliens fulfilled and fighting greedy competitors. Protect your factory and become the most powerful soup company in the galaxy.

    An amazing line-up! I’ve been wanting helldivers since it came out it looks fun and addictive. I’m excited for a game by the PixelJunk people because theyre great! I’m probably still going to get P4 Arena physically for the cards and stuff but I’m excited to at least play the game! So glad I have plus

    I have put over 170+ hours into HELDIVERS. I also have the Platinum. The game is amazing and even more fun with friends.

    This is going to shut up a LOT of Plus nay-sayers (myself included these past few months). And as someone new to the Vita, I’m really looking forward to Nova-111, which I hadn’t heard of until now. I just went to the dev’s site and watched a trailer. It looks like a ton of fun!

    Why did you stopped the voting stuff it was a great feature for us to maybe get what we want and what happened with the big titles it would be nice that at least every two or three months we get a AAA title or something or maybe if you already have the free plus game already (that you paid for it) then you should get a discount to buy any other game you want, and that would be really Nice

      If you’d read the post (or if you go back and read it again now) it blatantly and in plain text said that the voting was only intended to be that one time and that it was something they may do again in the future.

      It was not intended to be a regular occurrence.

    Why did i get a ps4 “next gen” to play 2d awful games, no game that i have bought has blown me away with the “next gen” promise either. i’ve played more mega drive style games on my next gen console than i did on my ps3.
    2 years in and am now in a position to call it out. Waste of money so far. Sony just keep concreting my opinion month on month with these awful games. Every gamer should stop pre ordering too, its making developers lazy. They know how many they have sold before completing game, then rush it out and start the new one. Games are dying because of this very clever pre order scam.

    Let me know when Lords of the Fallen hits ps+ its only $18 @ gamestop which never has a copy of it but playstation store wants $59.99 for christ sake the game came out in 2014?

    Once again, nothing worth the 50$ a year subscription… This is a joke! Just stop giving free crap and add a new subscription plan at reduced cost for people who just want to play online with friends/family.

      Let’s do the math. If you only have PS4… $50 / 24 (indie) games = $2.083 per game. If you have a PS3 too… 48 games for $1 each. If you have a Vita…

      The 50 dollar a year subscription covers the cost of the online play.

      The free games are just an added bonus.

    Alright not bad not bad at all, a sure step up from last month. Persona 4 Ultimax is solid and I’ve heard good things about Helldivers

      I also really think Sony should add PS2 games to PS+ I really think that would incentivize a lot of people. Seriously most would be happy getting an uprez trophy supported Silent Hill 2 (konami’s “hd” collection) or some other great PS2 game.

    In March I’ll be upgrading to a PS4 & my PS + runs out then, I really don’t see me renewing it. Everyone has a right to say how they feel, don’t understand why people getting blast for telling Sony how they feel, even if Sony hardly listens. I don’t play online & the games Sony give on PS+ for PS4 is way too much Indie, for the past year, PS3 has been getting better games, this month no different…

      I think it is more that people get frustrated when every month the same thing happens. I actually greatly enjoy many of these games and they are personally a better value for me than say if even Bloodbourne was made free.

      So these comments make it sound like they are the majority of people. If we go by sales, either the majority does not care at all, or they think these games are fine.

      Also some of us really enjoy this and these games and these hate comments after bash these games for little to no reason besides indie. I might not like Nom Nom Galaxy, but someone out there probably is super excited. Plus fewer people probably already have a game like Nom Nom Galaxy. Now more people will try it. Some of these indies have been awesome though.

      I have no problem with people expressing their frustration. What angers me is when people act like petulant children entitled to have the world cater to their needs and throw a huge temper tantrum when it doesn’t.

      Before posting an angry rage post about the games not being to your taste… take a day away, sleep on it, come back, and write the post in a logical, rational fashion. Explain what it is you liked back when you liked the service, what it is about this lineup that you dislike, and why you don’t feel you’re getting your money’s worth.

      If you can do that using relatively decent grammar, capitalization, punctuation, and without resorting to insulting Sony, insulting the games, or just whining like a 2 year old… then you’ll have my utmost support on your complaints. Whether I agree with them or not.

    It’s obvious Sony is just messing with us now and clearly trying to make the PLUS games as bad as possible.

    GARBAGE lineup, as usual. Glad, once again, that I canceled my membership.

    This month is an improvement from the last. I love an adventure game as much as the next person, but five months in a row even gets me burned out. Persona Arena Ultimax has my attention. I love Golden! So I will be playing that this month. Helldivers looks good too. Can’t wait until Tuesday!

    Alright every month I’m on here thinking hey next month will be better it’s OK. And every month I’m disappointed. And I read the comments and see hey so is everyone else. And I think to myself surely they’re gonna do better next month since so many people are upset. But nope. Again bad/boring games. I don’t personally own a ps3 or vita so the only thing I’m really getting out of this is the occasional decent indie game and online play but most months I try the titles and they’re meh at best. Most I don’t even play more than once. I’m just getting tired of the monthly disappointments. Like if I didn’t play online so much I wouldn’t have bothered to resubscribe last month. So seriously playstation step your game up or you’re gonna start losing customers. Every month you ask for our opinions on the games and every month you give us the same kind of lineup. Decent games for the ps3 meh for the vita and indie games for ps4. Well I’ve got news for you not everyone wants/likes indie games. Step your game up guys.

    I feel like some people bought a PS4 that cannot afford one from reading some of these comments. It has no games and it is all Sony’s fault. AAA games should be free! Arrrhhh! Like really, you never buy any of the games you think are great or something.

    I already own most of the exclusive games and many of the “AAA” titles. So triple AAA that people want them free. Then comments that Xbox One has it better. They have like two big exclusives coming out this year. The backwards compatability which is not really all that useful for me right now.

    I am glad they put Helldivers up. I skipped it, but was curious. So I will take it.

    Definitely letting my PS Plus lapse next month. Nobody is asking for games that still retail for $60, but come on, at least give people -anything- they’ve been requesting.

    Amazing month. I only own P4AU physically. Would not mind a digital option..

    Lemming Touch…almost bought that game 1-2 years ago when it was on sale. Glad I decided not to. Heard it was tough to plat though.

    Helldivers is the best game of the month…always been interested in it. Tons of my friends loved it…now I can join along. I hope we get a discount on all the DLC.

    DId not play Grid 2 when it was avalible for PS+, probably ignore this one.

    Nom Nom is great, but have to wait to get a PS4 to play it. I wish they did not can the Vita release.

    Nova 111…not sure about it will try to play it a bit.

    I may check out Grid, but everything else holds absolutely no interest for me. So disappointed with 95% of the PS+ games that have been offered for about the last year-and-a-half. It’s like night and day in terms of the quality that had been offered before then. Despite the occasional benefits of getting sale discounts, virtually the only reason I renewed it in October was to be able to play Borderlands 2, which was a freebie 2-3 years ago. Even the other small reason it appealed to me (automatic game saves) hasn’t worked properly for the past month and Sony has failed to address the problem. I used to tell Playstation owners that didn’t have PS+ that it was by far the best deal in gaming, but no longer. I’m also very confused by Sony’s apparent abandonment of the voting program.

    I’ve been really disappointed with the quality of games that my PS Plus subscription has been offering to me. It’s time to change things up and really pull out all the stops Sony. Just because you are in the lead now does not mean that you can afford to make these bad choices and not suffer the consequences. Smarten Up.

      First of all get over yourself, secondly the quality use to be excellent but over the past year it has drastically decreased. if you want to ignore the facts then you are enabling Sony in these poor decisions. Put your fan boy hat away and look at what has been offered compared to the past and even with Microsoft’s program.

      I have been a Plus member from the night it was offered on PS3. I would STILL remain a Plus member if online was free on PS4 because I don’t expect the world for $4.20 each month.

      I am totally fine with the Plus offerings every month…even on months when there is nothing for me because my expectations are not ridiculous like you AAA complainers. I swear, IT’S $4.20 A MONTH!!!! if that breaks your bank and makes you have a bad day when the Plus offerings are not to your liking, please just find a new hobby. Gaming needs less entitled chumps, we have enough.

    Alright here the rant goes…if everyone is so disapointed with Sony then switch to Xbox its that simple. Come on here every month to see free games and all I see is people crying about the titles offered. The fact is we get 72 games a year at the price of $50. Look at Xbox they get 48 a year at this point. That 24 more games for the same price. Even if you only get 3-5 games a year that you like and play its still a great deal. Look at rocket league it was 20 brand new and came out for free with ps+, that more than a 1/3 of the sub price in one free game. So everyone stop complaining about what you get for free and try to enjoy what you get. If not you all can always switch to Xbox and get gwg each month instead. So many people feel entitled to get AAA games for free each month. Yet it doesn’t work like that, don’t get me wrong it would be nice to see some of the initial releases for free. Yet don’t complain cause you don’t get the 3-4 year old AAA games, go out and buy them if you want them that bad. Most of them are $20 or less if you can’t afford that then you probably shouldn’t have a $300-400 ps4.

      Couldn’t have said this better myself. I have both and I can say that most months Xbox doesn’t offer better games. If nothing else they are equal do I don’t know what people really think they deserve. Love my PS4, 3 and Vita and I think plus is worth it. Oh and the games are free, if you don’t like them don’t play them. Simple isn’t it

    I think it’s the worst month to date. Come on Sony, what’s going on?! Not a signle AAA game since launch. :S I don’t play online so I’m starting to think I’m paying 50$ for nothing at all. I’ve played two free games in the past 8 months! They were Grow Home and Grim Fandango (which I aready played in 98). I really hope someone at Sony is reading this. Enough of those 15-20$ crappy games. What about Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age which are 20$ everywhere, even Resident Evil maybe…
