Drama. Magic. Zombies. Magic zombies? Maybe not that last one, but we’ve got the other three in spades with our new free games coming to PlayStation Plus. So without further ado, here are your PS Plus games for November!

Leading the (zombie) pack is critically acclaimed The Walking Dead: Season Two on PS4, by the expert storytellers at Telltale Games. The second season follows Clementine in her struggle to survive a world torn apart by the undead menace. Guide her actions and influence the game’s outcome as nail-biting choices must be made to keep on living.

Also available this month is Magicka 2 on PS4. This spell-slinging action game empowers you and your friends with the elements to defeat your enemies (or sabotage those same friends). Hysterics may ensue, which might be a welcome break after all those zombies…

These PS4 games are free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of November, and you can find the full list of PlayStation Plus games below. Enjoy!

    I have been very critical about the free games offered in the past (so much so that I was very close to canceling my subscription) but this month I am actually happy: Walking Dead S2 and Magicka 2 are good ones!

    Not too interested in the games this month, but I’ll give Magicka a try. It looks a bit like Diablo, and I looooove Diablo, so we’ll see. If nothing else, this gives me time to catch up on my ludicrous backlog!

    Not sure about this. Definitely not a walking dead or tell tale fan, so that sucks. Dragon fin looks cool, but invizimils is abysmal. PS3 scores again.

      Actually, the only game I’ve played this month is Mass Effect 2 – great game, if not, the best in the series.

      I am more happy about other smaller games, simply because I skipped those.

    Glad with this lineup. After getting walking dead season 1 from Halloween sale, I was wondering the reason why they did not give any discount for season 2 and yay it’s free on November :)
    Magicka 2 is one of the games that I am curious about so I am happy that will be able to try it soon.
    Dragon Fin Soup seems cool and even cooler that it is cross play with Vita!

      I saw what was coming to PS+ November, and saw Season 1 on Sale of the Dead, and actually bought Season 1 (completed on 3 other platforms)

      I don’t mind an easy platinum :)

    I love Walking Dead Season 2 and Magika for PS4 (since I’ll be picking up my Darth Vader PS4 mid-month).
    The Mass Effect 2 seems a little odd just there by itself but Beyond Good & Evil = WIN!!
    Dragonfin soup looks interesting and that’s what I’m really liking about PN+ these days, finding great Indie games to enjoy.

    $50 per year is super cheap, but not cheap enough for games this old (PS3). Next year, if I don’t move to xbone, I’ll put $50 to wallet instead. Sony is taking downward path once again.

      Leaving PlayStation for disappointment on PS+ Free game lineup is…. questionable, but you have the power.

      Enjoy your Dudebro shooters, Elite controllers, and Super Power Bricks Ultra.

      Talk to your Kinect 2.0, disconnecting controllers, and replaceable batteries.

      And when games like Uncharted 4, Final Fantasy VII, The Last Guardian, SF V, and Gran Turismo hit the market, you can still be glad that you have backwards compatibility to even more dudbro shooters.

      I can see that you’re not even a Plus member, and yet complain about a service you’re not part of.

    @misslady89 the free games are part of the offer that sony does for the playstation plus subscription, it seems appealing for the possible costumer until you realize your only getting crappy games therefore we have right to complain if we want, but i must admit this month was better than the last ones

      I just wish people could raise valid point-by-point argument over:

      “this is crap!”

      “fix this, SONY!”

      “I’m moving to XBone!”

      All of which become really annoying for people who actually ENJOY those games.

    Not a bad lineup this month, but not great. I’m not thrilled about the Walking Dead Season 2 (not a walking dead fan _at all_ but I already got the first season for free awhile back so I guess it’s good to have the second now). I don’t know anything about Magicka 2, but I’m definitely going to check it out. The past few months were much better for the free games, but then again – THEY’RE FREE – so I’m happy getting anything at all. Plus, when you add in all the new discounted games for the month the subscription pays for itself. I don’t even play any games online, I only subscribe to Plus for the discounts and I am completely satisfied. I am also a huge fan of the Indies though, which is why I am a Playstation fan in the first place. Sony specifically said that they are trying to cater more towards the Indie developers and fans, so if you only want to play games like CoD and Destiny, go downgrade to a XB1.

      But yeah, 4 bucks a month for an assortment of indies and AA, AAA titles here and there is MORE than the money we pay for, seriously.

      They are not “free” they are rented. Only reason I got ps+ is cause of them. But again I bought ps4 to play next gen games not indie. But I don’t mind indie games if they are decent. I subscribed in the January 2015, and decent games I have got since then is rocket league, apotheon, guacamole, and walkin dead s2. Other indie games are boring and depressing or simply for kids. Unfortunately I don’t have kids otherwise I could be happy. Now my question is does it worth to rent 4 indie games for a year in exchange for $50? In meanwhile I am enjoying dragon age inquisition that I bought for $30. 100s of hours of fun

    Are you people for real? You’re complaining on getting free games.

    You’re paying what? $4/mo for PS+, then they offer an $20+ game for free and “PS+ isn’t worth it” – wow, just wow. Just because the game isn’t for your liking doesn’t mean no one else likes the mentioned game.

    Do you only game on PS+ Freebies?

    Why the heck do you want AAA titles that you probably have played already? Why not just go out there and spend your money on the bargain bins?

    PS+ Freebies are a nice bonus, and personally, I love the months like this when they give me games that I probably skipped, or missed.

    Walking Dead Season 2 alone is more than worth the $4.16 that I paid for PS+

    Every month it’s the same crying about free games.Why? After all they are free games. If you must complain, then complain about the games you actually pay for. The ones that promise innovative gameplay,unprecedented online experience, uncompromising graphics, an all new gaming experience and then… the game doesn’t. If you’re going to complain. Complain that there is no law in place to entitle the consumer a refund for falsely advertised games (fraud), defective games. Complain that you the consumer is not protected by law and that the publishers of gaming content have no liability toward you the consumer at all. COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT!

    Why does every month the games are like ones you never heard of. You get crap months and ok months.
    Ps plus quotes (we select some of the best games) but really there like 2$ games
    its not worth the 50$ subscription…

      Because the games you’ve already heard of, you’ve already heard of. You know of them and if you want them, you buy them. Sony is trying to expand your horizons by giving you an opportunity to play some free games that you’ve never heard of and probably wouldn’t otherwise. Look beyond your CoD and Assassin’s Creed and you will find a trove of amazing games to keep you entertained for a long time, for much less $$$ than the crappy AAA games.

    Everyone is complaining about the free games. But you know what’s worse than getting free games some people don’t want? Getting games for free that you already paid full price for!! But that’s the nature of the beast. More often than not this happens to me, I get a game for free that I already bought weeks/months ago. And yet you people who won’t spend $$ on extra games complain about getting free ones? I think I have more of a right to complain after spending more money than some of you, seemingly needlessly. But I’m accepting this fact… You that are complaining about the free games should just accept the reality as well. Or spend a little extra and maybe BUY a game that you really want instead of just waiting for free governm… err Sony handout (quite the concept!!).

    Why did I buy a “next-gen” console just to play last-gen or even before last-gen games. I’m not mad, just disappointed. I want to see new stuff, or I would’ve just bought a PS2. Btw guys, the games aren’t incentive, they are to keep you from unsubscribing. Good day

    I dont even know why i get my hopes up for these free games. I knew psn was going to get bad after you guys started charging people to play online. Season two of the walking dead. really. So my choice is either an incomplete story..or magicka. Please Playstation im begging you. Put. BETTER. GAMES. UP. FOR. PS PLUS. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. PLLEEEEEAAAAASE

    Nothing for me really Mass Effect 2 is a great game but I already own it. I find it funny though how entitled so many people seem to be. In my opinion the sales throughout the past three years have more than made up for the ps plus price.

    Back when the Xbox One was first announced and they said that users would not be able to play used games etc there was an uproar and it caused Microsoft to change their position and I really wish they hadn’t. They should have stuck to their guns and made the system the way they wanted because what the ended up doing is creating a new generation of gamers called the “CheapskateEntitledCrybaby” generation. They can be identified by never being satisfied with anything. Too many indies: complain. Less indies: complain. They are giving you the current Walking Dead game: complain. Had they given us Season One for free this month the same people would be crying about Sony giving us an old game. SMH. Cant transfer your ps3 save to ps4? Buy the ps4 version especially right now that its on sale. Dont want to? Try playing something else.

      You’re right about everything except that MS should have stuck to their guns… The fact that they ever considered that horrible philosophy alone ensured that I will never buy another MS system. Greedy MFers. I only by used games unless they are digital only… Who’s still spending $60 on a 5 hour game..? Certainly not me. Fallout 4 might be worth it, but games like Uncharted that I can beat in an afternoon? I’ll wait until it’s $9 at gamestop in a month (and I hate gamestop).

    PS Plus wont satisfy every gamer every month but you are always free to unsubscribe if you dont find any value in it. The fact that they for the most part give out games that are fun but probably will get overlooked is a great way for actual gamers to expand their library and try something new. The service is not meant to give you all the latest releases for free because you do not have the money to buy them yourself. People complain that they are all about money with a straight face as if corporations are run off of rainbows and potato salad. When you go to work you dont do your job for the “love of the job” and tell them to keep your paycheck do you? Giving Sony feedback if you are unhappy is all well and good but dont make it seem as if they owe you exactly what it is you have in your head that you want. They described the service up front and you chose to pay for it and are getting what you paid for. Dont hype it up in your head and get mad when what you get isnt what you cooked up in your mind.

    My gut says they are trying to milk the AAA+ like shovel knight to sell even though it’s only $14.99 it’s going to sell well so why give it away it looks like they are giving away they lowest selling titles they have to offer because they have to pay the developers for every copy they give away to us, let’s not forget that xboxlive gold doesn’t give away much better games with their paid service and that’s only because Sony started the trend

      Let me pick a game I can “rent”. I honestly just want to stop getting 8 – bit games when I have a 4th generation console. I can’t describe the feeling I get every time I see a “new” 8 – bit game come out in the store for example, Organ Trail…. I didn’t buy an Atari, Sony. I want new, if I wanted old I would go buy a ps3, ps2, or a ps1. Show off your systems capabilities instead of revisiting old things that have “gotten old”

    Poor effort once again Sony! As much as I hate Xbox your continuously weak (free) games haven’t touched on the halo series being given away! Where’s mah backwards connectivity as well? I don’t want to pay for ps now! I’ve already paid for those games. You guys need to buck up your ideas.

    Two things: 1) Which Invizimals? Don’t care which one to play, just need to know how much space to make. I have to rebuild the database when I delete a game; They never fully remove themselves, so it’s nice to know ahead of time. ;;; Now 2) Get someone on making it possible to collapse replies to comments, it takes me forever to get to the bottom of the page… Not really a problem, just more of an inconvenience that the page is too large for my Vita to load.

    Vita gets shafted (again) last week being left out of ps4/ps3 versions of RE Revelations 2 going on sale, and this month with no TWD Season 2. At least I can look forward to Dragon Fin Soup, which says more for Grimm Bros than Sony.

    so just tried inviZimals and the first thing the game asks for is a physical trap for the camera to see not sure how to continue with the game when I dont have one.

      You can print out the card online, but the AR cards that came with the VITA are the ones you can use, if not mistaken. I do remember the Invizimals cards for PSP being specfic to that game, so that may be the same case. You have to print it out I would assume. They mention it in the PSN game description.

    I don’t care about the quality of the games. I want to be able to wake up on the first Tuesday of the month and ACTUALLY be able to download the games that I’m paying monthly to have the right to download.

    When the hell is THAT going to happen, Sony? Just because it’s free doesn’t mean you don’t owe it to your customers to actually stick to the deadlines that YOU set.

      No need to be so rude. They didn’t release a time schedule on when they would be available. I would like the games to be out when I wake up as well, but that’s not their time-table so calm down.

      On a side note.. Going to play Magicka 2?! I’m excited for that

    I was told these games would be out on Tuesday. It’s Tuesday! Where are they at?! I’m excited for Magicka 2 especially. I feel that the game will be better on the PS4 than it was on the computer.

    Step 1: Make Playstation Plus Mandatory for online gaming.
    Step 2: Take away the alluring, yet expensive AAA title giveaways for current generation gaming consoles
    Step 3: Take over the world!

    Don’t get me wrong, I love indie games, but they have to be particularly special. It just seems that 50% of the indie games are games that could have been better executed by a large studio and publisher. While another 40% are bad games that were rightfully turned down by big studios and publishers. So besides the rare gem, I’m pretty sick of indie games and faux indie games at this point.

    I understand that it took a year before we saw a AAA PS3 title come to Playstation Plus when it was introduced in 2010 and another 2 years before PS Plus became synonymous with AAA titles, making it an incredible value, but PS4 has been around for two years, and the service is over five years old now. You guys could have made a big deal out of the two year anniversary of PS4 by handing out one of the launch titles as a freebie this month. Instead, we get another handful of niche indie titles again.

    I not asking for much, just some games that have hit the bargain bin at $20-$30 in the past year to remind us why we bought a PS4.

    I find it hilarious how the PS community is complaining about the games. The games are fine and Sony wont give you a triple A games of the PS4 for free yet. If you think Sony is losing the Console war go ahead, buy a XBox One and see what Microsoft is releasing for their customers.

    Yes the PS+ lineup for November 2015 is rather bleh, but look at what PS+ has to compete with in November, Fallout 4, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, Star Wars: Battlefront and WWE2K16. If you were Sont would you give away the farm when competing with those 4 AAA titles?

    Im gonna say not one of my favorite months but still good value, Having Mass Effect is interesting..id like to see seom free Dragon Age. I know its old but its a game i never got round to playing an having 1 and 2 free or hell even 1 with all the DLc would encourage me to splurge on Inquisition
