And in order to celebrate this milestone, we are also adding an extra sixth bonus game to our usual five new game monthly lineup: Resistance 3.

To launch the newly revamped PS Now subscription application on PS4, simply click on the PS Now icon in the content launcher on the home menu of your PS4. As always, new members can register for a free 7 day trial via your compatible PlayStation console, on your enabled Sony Blu-ray player, Sony TV, or Samsung Smart TV, or right here on the web. Here are the new games for the month of July:

PlayStation Now July Update: Bonus Game, New Look

Infamous Festival of Blood

Vampires swarm New Marais, and revered superhero Cole MacGrath has been bitten. To save his soul and city, he has just one night to find and kill the head vampire. Featuring hours of new gameplay, themed environment settings and new characters/enemies, Festival of Blood explores the darker side of the Infamous universe.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One

What do you get when an evil mastermind’s plan to destroy his three biggest enemies goes horribly wrong? You get a massive — and wacky — space-bound adventure featuring an unlikely partnership of heroes and villain. Play alone or in co-op multiplayer as Ratchet, Clank, Qwark or Dr. Nefarious, each with their own unique skills and an arsenal of weaponry.

Resistance 3

America is lost. 4 years after the end of Resistance 2, dishonorably discharged Sentinel Joseph Capelli is in hiding from the Chimeran Menace with other survivors, including his new wife and young son. But when Dr. Fyodor Malikov arrives with the opportunity to deliver a blow to the occupying Chimeran force, Capelli must leave his family and journey the harrowing road from Oklahoma to New York City. Along the way, he’ll encounter the remnants of humanity left in the aftermath of the brutal Chimeran invasion.

Sound Shapes

Equal parts instrument and game, Sound Shapes gives everyone the ability to make music. Play through a unique campaign that fuses music and artwork into a classic 2D platformer, featuring artwork by Pixeljam, Capy, Superbrothers and more, with music by I Am Robot and Proud, Jim Guthrie and Deadmau5. Then, create your own unique musical levels with all of the campaign content.

PS Now: July 2015

Wheel of Fortune

Spin the wheel and solve the puzzle with America’s Favorite Game Show! Wheel of Fortune captures the spirit of the popular TV show. Create your own character and experience Wheel of Fortune as never before. Solve puzzles to earn PS3 Trophies and become the game’s big winner!

Super Mega Baseball

Hammer Longballo and a friendly cast of semi-athletic baseball stars invite you out to the ballpark for a blazing fast, ultra-responsive game of hardball. Super Mega Baseball is easy to learn, but you’ll want to master jumping, diving, wall-catches, power swings/throws and cut-off plays to prevail in season mode versus the CPU, or to dominate your friends in local multiplayer.

That’s it for July! We hope you love playing this month’s lineup, and for the PS4 owners out there, tell us what you think of the new subscription experience — we hope you are as excited to try it out as we are to finally share it with you.

  • They should make something like Steam library window, where you can customize backgrounds, screenshots, icons, box art, name, create your own subcategories. I added all my PS1 and PS2 games to steam using emulators, and its awesome i made custom box arts, add custom images, made my icons, and looks great, I organized in categories its just lots of fun, i connected my DS4 and been playing PSgames on steam lately more than I’ve been using PSnow, its just offers me more for free.
I really like streaming idea, but i just has to be executed better, maybe in future will be, but right now its not what i need. Probably not gonna continue my subscription when it expires.
I think I could make PSnow so much better.
I apologize for my English, not my native language.

  • I’m just curious what incentive there is to subscribe to PS Now? Unless of course you are just looking to rent an older game. But isn’t this what GameFly is for? Plus, it’s much more cost effective to have a PS3 and a copy of the game you actually OWN to play on it. So are there any added benefits I am not aware of?

  • I really like where this is all going… I just wish you guys would stop ignoring the Vita! Do you know you still can’t subscribe to Now from the Vita? Lots of folks are asking to be able to use a controller with their Vita (if the Vita TV can do it?) The service is still unchanged since it was added as ‘beta’ because the Vita continues to get very very little attention. Give the Vita some love!

  • It isn’t allowing me to use my old save from the disc version of All 4 One. It says only the save from the digital version is compatible. Can this be fixed?

  • Well i was enjoying this service until this update. Definitely cancelling my subscription once this month is up your “update” has made it impossible to find anything I’m actually looking for without having to go into the store and look at all the rental games while paying attention to what says playable. In the future maybe put a search button in when you decide to change something that already worked perfectly fine. Or at least keep the ability for us to look at all the sub games without having to skim over your terrible category system which so far has suggested the same 5 games 4 times. Lastly you want to get more people to use stop adding stupid little arcade games to this and give us something worth actually paying for. If it wasn’t for resistance this month all you would be adding is a spin off ratchet and clank game and some little psn games. Who wants to pay $20/month for the ability to play games no one actually cares about.

Just started researching PS Now because I have a hankering to replay the Mass Effect series. Those games are the only reason I am still holding on to my old Xbox 360. Since the old gen games can obviously stream on the PS4, is it possible to purchase a digital copy since backwards compatibility with the discs is a no go? May seem like a stupid question, but I want a permanent copy of the ME games, and it doens’t look like they are remastering them any time soon….

    • Unfortunately no there’s no way to even play ME 1 or 3 atm and ME 2 isn’t part of the sub service you can pay $6 to rent it for 7 days. I love that series as well makes me extremely annoyed that i own all 3 digitally for ps3 but can’t even access them on ps4.

  • My family is disappointing with the reason being that the same games have still been on PSN. We love the idea that you’ve added The Walking Dead, Lego Batman, The Last of Us and Batman Arkham City. We would really like to continue some of those seasons that way if we finish a game we could continue playing the sequel right after. We don’t really care to play games that we haven’t heard of or care about. I think some really good ideas would be to bring in The Hitman collection, Metal Gear, Batman Arkham Origins, Walking Dead Season 2, more LEGO GAMES, anything worth playing and especially paying for. Months have gone by and I have been paying for a membership of games that we don’t really care about. Please read this acknowledge and give the request that we ask for. I am sure there are others that feel the same way. I love the idea of the subscription but dislike most of the selections. I believe some more great ideas would be

    -Grand Thief Auto collections
    -more Dead or Alive
    -Devil May Cry collection
    -Dragonball Z
    -Spiderman
    -Crash

  • Here’s an idea. Sell your PS4 and/or PS Vita and buy a Gaming PC like I did. I’m tired of Sony not caring about their users and constantly overpriced games that are much cheaper else. Simple as that.

BTW, My Steam username is SonyaKitanaFan85 if any wants to add me as a friend on Steam.:)

  • THE APP DOESNT WORK!!! WHY AM I PAYING FOR THIS WHEN I CANT EVEN OPEN MY GAMES??? PLEASE FIX

  • Some games I’d like to see added, if they aren’t on already:

    Warhawk
    Starhawk
    Kingdom Hearts I.5 & II.5
    Oblivion & Skyrim
Ratchet and Clank (All Missing Ones)
    Demon’s Souls
    Dark Souls I & II
Transformers War & Fall of Cybertron
    Sorcery
    PlayStation Move Heroes
    Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest
    All other first-party PS3 games

If we start getting PSOne and PS2 classics along with that (With PS TV compatible Vita games following in a few years), then this service will start to look very appetizing indeed.

Once I finish my Vita backlog and there’s some kind of discount for PS+ members, then I can see myself purchasing an L2/R2 attachment and moving the machine into a Remote Play/PSNow device.

  • I posted this list of games to the PS Now June update. I’m really glad that Sony at least added Festival of Blood to the InFamous series. However, there are still SO many classics missing from PS Now.
    Battlefield
    Need for Speed
    Far Cry
    Metal Gear
    Grand Theft Auto
    Red Dead Redemption
    BioShock
    PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale
    Street Fighter
    Mortal Kombat
    Batman Arkham
    Tomb Raider
    Dragon Age
    Gran Turismo
    Rayman
    Mass Effect
Jack Buser, I’m reposting this list that I did on the June update because I need some sort of sign that the PS Now catalog will be updated to include these series (not just one game from each, but ENTIRE series of games). You said that it’s being updated with hits and hidden gems. But I can’t move to PS4 if games like Red Dead Redemption and the BioShock series are still missing.

  • Can we please get the armored core games? I like PS4 but currently I would have to buy a ps3 to get armored core which is my favorite game of all time. I miss them. Thr vita versions of the ps2 games honestly arent all that great.

  • There are a few things I would like to see changed with psnow.

1 is a good discount for ps plus members. I don’t really like to dish out 2 subs a month just gave the freedom to play what I want on ps4.

2 would really like to see the ps classics added to this at some point. With the awesome collection the ps1-3 have under their belt I would like access to all of them.
