Awww man, I would have totally bought Borderlands 2 if the vita version was on sale.
The rest of the sale is looking really good though! I’m thinking of picking up Mass Effect trilogy and Soul Sacrifice delta.
And as for recommendations I highly recommend Walking Dead, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and (especially for those wanting a very fun local multiplayer game) Nidhogg!
So what’s the deal with don’t starve for the vita? I don’t remember buying this game, but it also doesn’t have a countdown timer like other plus games that shows how many days I have left to play it. Unless I bought it and forgot. Can anyone else confirm this issue?
Any idea when the network will be back up? Friday night really isn’t the best time to do ‘server maintenance’.
not sure i was just on a bit earlier and suddenly it kept cutting out, now wont let me back in. not sure if it is maintenance or a legitimate issue. hope its back soon though. i only have ps4. any recommendations from this list, dont really have any of them.
@stevenomes I sure hope its not a legitimate issue, they have had enough of those at best, and The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season would be good to start with, if your a fan of the comics and TV show its worth a pickme up
@Splodem: Regarding your 1st question, that’s news to me. Everyone I’ve ever seen that did it, they removed the license from their account, and then they were able to purchase the game. It’s hit or miss, on whether you’ll get someone that will actually do it, though, from what I hear..
As for the second, did you get Don’t Starve with Plus on a PS4? Vita version went free to purchases of the PS4 version as soon as it was released, from what I heard.
I did get it on ps4 through plus, but does that ,ran my vita version is free, even after plus expires? Again, there is no time limit tied to it under information. I’m not going to ask them to remove it when I call them if I already own it.

Nice, getting Ace Combat for my old man and Little Big Planet Karting for myself since it’s not something i’d generally buy at $20 but recently played the demo and rather liked it x’3 for $5 it’s a good deal.
On the note of kart type games, I’d love it if Modnations Racers went on sale sometimes too, the one time it did, last year, i really wanted motorstorm apocalypse and could get only one, but i can’t really complain, all of the sales these past months really helped me out build up on my game collection x’3
Other than that, not much that i am after on here…mamorukun curse! and raiden IV, i already got last sale and thorougly enjoyed them!!

Any Vita owner who doesn’t own Soul Sacrifice Delta is doing themselves a disservice. The original is one of the best games I’ve played in a long while (Only gripes were repetitiveness near the end, but the story alone was worth playing it for).
Delta fixes all of the problems in the original and then some (Factions, many new monsters/maps, many new spells, the capability of combining them to make new effects, extra stories, an endless dungeon and dungeon generator, etc). I’d highly recommend everyone that’s on the fence about it to just buy it–Surely $5 for such a critically acclaimed game can’t be too bad?
I was tempted by Freedom Wars at first, but blown away by Delta. Trust all the people that’ve played it: the game’s worth it.
Anyone notice that don’t starve is cheaper with the dlc included. Lol. A penny cheaper.
Some excellent sales on PS3, but the PS4 selection is awful.
@Splodem: It’s cool. I don’t post all that much, but I figured I’d answer since I knew what the answers were. Unfortunately, that’s about the extent of my knowledge, though. PSN seems to be down at the moment, so I can’t check and see(if you own something through Plus, the Vita has a nifty little blue Store icon, letting you know it. But you can still buy it, if you so choose, as long as you’re not currently subscribed). But I, more than likely, either read about it on a past blog post or on another forum.
If I had Plus when it came out, then I probably added it. But I went off and on as a member, because I wasn’t really interested in the “rentals.” I’d just buy a month here and there, when there was a sale with amazing Plus discounts, making it worth it over buying what I wanted without a subscription. Since these were few and far between, I only did it 2-3 times a year, so it seemed like a better option to me than buying into the yearly subs. No PS4 yet, either, so don’t need it for any multiplayer gaming I may partake in.
But yeah, once PSN is working again, I can let you know(if I did get it when I had Plus). Otherwise, sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

If PS3 isn’t your only option for playing the Mass Effect series, I recommend ponying up a few extra bucks for a better version. This one’s vastly inferior.
Anything you pay for is yours even if ps+ sub runs out. Only “free” content is tied to subscription.
My opinion is –
PS3 Medal Of honor Warfighter – One of if not my favorite FPS to date. Opinions vary but I really enjoyed this game
PS3 Ducktales Remastered – Now THIS is how you do a remaster. Great game and even better if you played the original or watched the show.
I’m torn between Don’t starve or Terraria for the vita. I have an impressive backlog already but I really want one of these two…
@Knotty_Enigma: That would be my guess, too. But it is odd, that the Vita version isn’t showing an expiration date, despite him getting it free through Plus. Could be a unique case, but maybe it’s just not listed there for some odd reason.
That’s the thing. Don’t starve for Vita was never a game I purchased (I got PS4 version free through plus), but it shows up without a timer under information like all other Plus games do. @Splodem: Sorry, to read that. :( Some even on here have reported it working for them, in the past. I can only assume one of 3 things. 1) They’re not supposed to do it, and the Sony support people that have got in trouble for it. 2 & 3) They aren’t aware it can be done and/or don’t know how to do it if they do. In either of those cases, it could just come down to luck with who you get on the line.
I feel your pain, though. I would have loved to buy Hotline Miami when it was 99 cents around the 2013 holidays, but couldn’t due to having it “rented” through Plus. Hasn’t dipped that low in price since, and with having already played through it, don’t know if I want to pay much more than $1 for it.
