  • AC Black Flag was imho the best one in the AC series. The foundation is there for Ubisoft to make a great and ORIGINAL pirates /treasure island game/ip but no, they’re determined to turn AC into their yearly version of Call of Duty. Good Luck

  • Will you make sure this one doesn’t play at 9fps when it launches? Or, will I get a free game with this one too?

  • Also, agree with everyone else. unity was pretty bad. this doesn’t look much more promising. Black flag was amazing. There was nothing more open world than sailing to remote islands for collectables and just free world exploration it had. Plus it had good feeling stealth and combat to me. Unity, the combat was brutally punishing, hard to master, and the exploration was no where near as fun. Not to mention all the launch problems and attempts at micro transactions via mobile platform.

  • Dear Ubisoft,

Please bring Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China to PS Vita.

    Thank you,

  • Looks promising

  • Think I will wait for a review before i buy this games.

  • No thanks. Done with Creed. Done with Ubisoft.

  • Big fan of AC but don’t think I will be pre-ordering again, not after the whole Unity debacle.

Game looks good though, but I’ll be waiting for the reviews come October.

  • I am aware that this is a “Pre-Alpha Test” with improvements being made as time goes on, but its not very promising to see literally the three same enemy types (ie. the big bald brawler enemy). Enemy variation has been a noticeable issue for this series and what could be seen in the gameplay video does nothing but solidify that fact. Also other things I noticed were the lack of move sets in combat (I saw the same handful multiple times), the weird glistening specks that fly off of enemies on almost EVERY hit and visuals that almost mirror that of Unity (if not worse).

If Ubisoft was planning to capture a dying audience with that gameplay then I personally feel they did a poor job so far. Unfortunately nothing new really stood out in either video. They added carriages and a rope which I think can ruin the on foot exploration factor to the game. Yes I’m sure the setting will be bigger than ever, but by providing a rope that does the climbing for you really seems to take away from the experience. I only hope that it has limited uses so players can’t abuse it.

  • I liked the old assasin’s creed (Desmond/Altair/Ezio) despite the frame rate issue at least the story were superb. But now meh, they did not polish the game, it’s like the creator doesn’t know anymore how to progress the story. Random assassin’s creed version, it’s becoming more boring and repetitive.

  • I loved the first AC game, even though most hated on it for lack of features. Pre-ordered AC:2, the best in the franchise. Pre-ordered AC:B, wasn’t as good as 2 but was still enjoyable. Was hesitant to pre-order AC:R because it seemed forced, but did so anyway and it was just ‘okay’. Pre-ordered AC:3, massively disappointed in how dumbed down everything became.

Bought AC for PSP to play before pre-ordering AC:L for Vita, it was not bad for a PSP game. AC:L was a quaint little pint sized version of AC and I thought it was good. Didn’t pre-order AC:BF because of the disappointment with 3. Got suckered into the pirates theme though and bought it later for $40. Actually enjoyed it as the second best in the franchise.

Wanted to get into Rogue, picked it up day 1 (no pre-order). Couldn’t handle the downgrade from PS4 to PS3, never finished it. Didn’t pre-order AC:U, almost uninterested in this one. Decided to trade in Rogue for Unity when the price came down to $40. Thought that multiplayer was better than previous versions, but single player was more the same and kinda boring at this point.

  • Have zero interest in the AC:C:C downloadable title. Want nothing to do with AC:S. This new one looks unappealing in every way. It’s time to stop saturating the market with AC content, or end it all together. You can tell when they got rid of their main writer and I don’t think the franchise has ever recovered.

As mentioned before, these games don’t really tie into one another anymore. Thus loosing any incentive to tough it out and play the next one. I want to continue liking the franchise, but I just don’t know that I can anymore. :/

  • heck yes. This one looks fantastic.
Surprised it’s not available for pre order yet on PSN. Love these games.

  • @66 Bugger off

  • Here we go again!

  • Hotline Miami 2 Wrong Number is soo underrated what’s wrong with you gamers? Titan is trash.

  • Sorry once i logged on it place me here.

  • Seriously the season Pass is $40 in Canada where as its $30 in the U.S. This has to be the first DLC to get price increase. Gold edition is $89.99 in the U.S. And Canada its $119. It should be $109

  • I’ve had my disagreements with the AC franchise, but it’s the very first time that I feel completely bored by the content of a new episode. This Syndicate looks nothing like an epic, historical Assassin’s Creed. All I see is a bunch of hobos beating each other in bland, empty streets. Brotherhood was looking so much better.

    Yeah, Viva la new generacion…

  • Ubisoft is making the same things all years, i only see cities, buildings, streets, persons… In other assassins we had more options, a jungle, an island, etc.. In this assassins creed we see the same things all time and is really boring, i play AC Unity for 20 minutes and i cant play anylonger, it looks great and all that stuff, but seriously, i am playing in a ****ing city all time! The game is the same over and over again in every place, and the map is really big.. I cant even think about explore all the places like anothers assassins. They make less secrets and bonus, less secondary adventures, i think they need to change that fast.. they are only focus in make a game in an important history moment, i am not saying that is a bad idea, but they are not considering that the same scenery all time doesn´t help.

  • I’m looking forward to the new mechanics of the game. I especially look forward to using the newest gauntlet and the fighting.
