It’s here. The Battlefield Hardline open multiplayer beta is available on both PS4 and PS3 today. If you have PlayStation Plus, all you have to do is hit up PlayStation Store and download the free beta (exact availability times vary by region and content refresh schedule). Now, I’m a “get to the point” kinda guy, so here’s what you can expect during the next six days of beta.
- Battlefield Hardline Open Multiplayer Beta Dates: February 3rd to February 8th*.
- Three Different Maps and Modes including: Hotwire and Conquest Modes on Dust Bowl, Hotwire Mode on Downtown, and Heist Mode on Bank Job.
- Play Hacker Mode for the first time — Similar to Commander in Battlefield 4, this mode allows players to take control over security cameras, spot enemies and specify areas on the battlefield for their team to attack or defend.
- Exclusive BF4 Dog Tag – If you have a BF4 account and try out the Battlefield Hardline beta, the Hardline Dog Tag will be unlocked in the next patch for BF4 for you to proudly wear in-game.
As you hit the streets in one of the muscle cars in Hotwire mode, defend or jack the vault in Heist, or throw down in classic Conquest, we want to hear about what you like or don’t like about your game experiences. You can voice all your feedback and suggestions on the Battlefield Hardline Forums.
Hardline is all about heated exchanges and chaotic Battlefield moments, and we want to see them. Share your in-game insanity by using the Battlefield Hardline theme in ShareFactory. Tag your clips with #BFHTopPlay when you post and you might get featured on one of Battlefield’s official channels.

I really want to stream this Open Beta. Tell me why Microsoft has this online and ready for download. This really makes me want to sale my PS4 and get XboxONE. Please PSN release this so everyone can play it like EA has requested. You are trying to Sale the game but you don’t want people to try it out and this might end up hurting you in the long run SONY get your $H^T together.

Sony updated the store and released the Beta about 4 hours ago.
If you can’t find it, either your region/area is lagging behind, or you don’t know how to look/search the store.
Im in ontario canada and it still isnt in the ps3 store

Ok first of all, it is half true that you need playstation plus to download the beta, it is stated on the battlefield hardline Faq site that “Users with PS4’s do need playstation plus(active subscription) while users with PS3’s do not need playstation plus”. And second of all, the PSN store had not updated and it is 5:11 central time! How long do I have to wait Sony?
i had to go to the playstation store on my pc and add it to my cart to download it on my ps3, its on there but not the console app. wth
@155 I’m in Ontario and both ps3 and ps4 versions of the beta showed up in the PSN store at about 2pm
If you can’t find it on your ps3, go on a PC and check the store that way, it’s been there for hours for me (in Ontario).
Not sure why it hasn’t shown up on your ps3, other than some IPs update differently?
Also on the PS Store Update post (separate point/discussion) it shows PS4 Beta requires Plus, but PS3 Beta should just work for everyone.
@158, the store was updated quite a while ago.
There’s nothing more for Sony to do, they uploaded it a long time ago.
If you can’t see it, either your pc browser needs refreshing/close and open/clear cache.
Or for some reason your area/IP is slow in updating.
But SONY UPLOADED IT A WHILE AGO there’s nothing more they can do.

If you guys cant see the Battlefield Hardline beta in the ps3 playstation store I prefer for you guys to use the computer and download the game threw there. BEST LUCK TO YOU ALL IN THE BATTLE

If you are on ps3 and can’t find the beta, don’t worry, I couldn’t find it at first either. You need to go to PS Store>Games>New>New this month, then scroll down. That’s how I found it.

Alright guys I got the download to start for PS3. For some reason you can’t find the game through PSN store on the actual console, but if you follow the link at the bottom, log in to your PSN account, add the beta to your cart, and confirm the “purchase”, you will see the game on your download list the next time you log back in to the PSN store. Its complicated but that seems to be the only way to get it to work for now.

Everyone needs to stop whining, Sony is doing a great job with their content. The games have been great and upcoming games look terrific, no one is ever happy with what they give out in their games. The order looks great song. PS4 is my favorite console so far. Bring Uncharted 4 with Uncharteds 2 multiplayer and 3’s customization! Get silent hills as exclusive!
Playstation has been so disapointing lately. They say it’s going to be released on Feb 3 and you’d naturally assume it’d be at 12am, but no, not for Playstation. They’ll release it whenever the feel like, maybe even on the 6th if they wanted to. It’s ridiculous

Guys i finally did it. Go to playstion app in your cell phone or computer go to ps store then search hardline beta then add to cart when you find the beta then confirm purchase wich is $0. Now go to ps store on your plaustation then all the way at the bottom look for view downloads and the beta will be there click download.
i think that it should have been for everyone not just for ps plus.
