It’s here. The Battlefield Hardline open multiplayer beta is available on both PS4 and PS3 today. If you have PlayStation Plus, all you have to do is hit up PlayStation Store and download the free beta (exact availability times vary by region and content refresh schedule). Now, I’m a “get to the point” kinda guy, so here’s what you can expect during the next six days of beta.
- Battlefield Hardline Open Multiplayer Beta Dates: February 3rd to February 8th*.
- Three Different Maps and Modes including: Hotwire and Conquest Modes on Dust Bowl, Hotwire Mode on Downtown, and Heist Mode on Bank Job.
- Play Hacker Mode for the first time — Similar to Commander in Battlefield 4, this mode allows players to take control over security cameras, spot enemies and specify areas on the battlefield for their team to attack or defend.
- Exclusive BF4 Dog Tag – If you have a BF4 account and try out the Battlefield Hardline beta, the Hardline Dog Tag will be unlocked in the next patch for BF4 for you to proudly wear in-game.
As you hit the streets in one of the muscle cars in Hotwire mode, defend or jack the vault in Heist, or throw down in classic Conquest, we want to hear about what you like or don’t like about your game experiences. You can voice all your feedback and suggestions on the Battlefield Hardline Forums.
Hardline is all about heated exchanges and chaotic Battlefield moments, and we want to see them. Share your in-game insanity by using the Battlefield Hardline theme in ShareFactory. Tag your clips with #BFHTopPlay when you post and you might get featured on one of Battlefield’s official channels.

Tried looking on the PS Store in demos, and new this week, and month, looked on the PS Store in the PS app and what do I see? Nothing
guys its almost 4:00 here and still no beta is it me or is play station having difficulties

Oh in case people don’t know, if you’re using the webstore don’t just refresh over and over, sometimes changes only show up if you close and restart your browser/clear the internet cache.
Anyway I’m glad the Beta came out around 2pm, early compared to most things on the PSN store.
I’m in North Florida and I have been searching for the link all day. However I’ve still been able to download the beta. Go to Live with PS. Find someone who is streaming a video of them playing the beta. join the room and click go to PS Store. The download will be right there waiting for you!!!

@Willie136 well you have to have PS+ to play multiplayer, so having to have it for the beta is a no brainer.

Also one of Plus’ selling points, although we almost never get them, is Betas.

So, Xbox has this game right at 12 am February 3rd, and you people can’t even update the store at that time? I don’t understand what you people do. You take our money, and claim to have all these employees working around the clock trying to fix issues, and improve, yet all I have seen is back tracking. I was happier when I owned a Ps2 than this garbage service. I’m paying monthly to get kicked in the nuts basically. No wonder us Ps owners get bashed on by Xbox owners all the time. Sony, youre digging a deep hole, and one day you’ll never get out of it.

All ps3 people: you don’t need to be plus members. Go to PSStore>Games>New>New This Month>BF Hardline beta.
When you get to New this month, you need to scroll down a bit. I learned this from a guy on page two.
If any of you are frustrated, don’t worry, i was too but it’s there.

it did help! Found it finally, downloading now!
For those that can’t seem to find it go to the PS store > games > demos then scroll all the way right and click on the “new PS3 Demos”. It populated it as the first one I saw. Searching and spotlight did nothing for me.

And since the information posted in this very post states that it’s for Plus users, why are people asking if it’s for plus users?
