This is a pretty awesome month for PlayStation Plus members with a variety of quality titles across PlayStation platforms entering the service.
On PlayStation 4 you’ll receive one of the coolest games from last year – the critically acclaimed strategy/action RPG Transistor. PS4 owners will also get Apotheon, an action platformer set in Greek mythology, the day it releases on PlayStation Store. PlayStation 3 owners can explore the ins and outs of Tokyo with Yakuza 4 or sneak about The City stealing what you can in Thief. PlayStation Vita owners can see how many generations of champions it takes to beat the quirky Rogue Legacy and jump around as a little boy with a big gun (not so much for shooting enemies as it is launching you around) in Kick & Fennick, which is also releasing day and date in PlayStation Plus.
All of these games will be free for Plus members starting February 3rd. If you want to see these titles in action, check out the video below. When you watch, you may notice that the voice over has changed a bit, and my friend Ryan Clements is narrating instead of me. First i just want to say thank to ps for the free games. Just wandering if There’s any plans for free grade a games for ps4that r going to be released. Seems ps3 have some pretty cool games and ps4 is mostly 2d games. Thanks for the opportunity to be heard.

Now I lost all hope that the ps4 free games line up is ever gonna get something good because honestly why do ps3 users get 50-60$ games for free and ps4 users get 15-25$ dollar games for free its not fair ! Really pissed off
Sony should really look into making the PS3 titles from PS Plus stream for free via Playstation Now.

Ok so its February 3 2015. I even made sure it was in pacific time zone. It still shows January’s free lineup and the games for February are still have prices.

I don’t understand why they didn’t make Thief a PS4 exclusive. Honestly, I would be happy if they make it cross platform (both PS3 AND PS4), replace it for Transistor or Apotheon, both of which the PS3 can easily handle

Usually it updates between 11am and 12pm pacific time, so it should happen in the next couple hours.
Its already 1 pm where are the games? You need to start putting them up midnight so we can download them thru the night. Not at 5 pm so we wont even get to play em.

This is pathethic. I cannot believe the lineup. It’s so bad. I remember on the ps3 I would get really nice games. I don’t play online so the only reason I got PSN plus was for the games.

Just called Sony and had and odd conversation, at first it was what country am I calling from US seeing as called ID would put me in the USA, what time zone on the PS4, What dates in the console and after all that I get just wait till the weekend!!

Yuck, not a very good set of games for the PS4 this month. Unfortunately it’s the only system I desire to have out of the entire PS plus system. I wish there was a way to pay less for only using PS4 perks. Hopefully next month will have something work playing. On another note, just purchased Life is Strange E1, and Game of Thrones E2 today – excited for those!

its almost like sony hates PS4… i mean i understand why PS3 has way more features but come on!
ok Transistor is an OK game i will give it that but is it truly next gen material? more like android material in my opinion, maybe Vita.
Apotheon is horrible! i get its 2D art style mimics the ancient greek artwork but why must i be forced to feel like i way 1000 pounds!
Yakuza is good, basically the japanese version of GTA. Thief is alright awkward controls kinda kill it a little.
the PSVita lineup looks good though, not to into 2D fruity platformers so Rogue doesnt look appealing, but the other one looks good… to bad its not cross buy, that may have made this month look ok to be a PS4 user. so i guess the Battlefield beta is the only thing worth while this month and we only get that for 5 days :(

search for it in store. most vita games that are free fromplus are cross buy, unfortunately the better one for this month “kick & fennec” isnt.
I like how the ps4 gets next to no major games, just a bunch of indy games, the next best thing to a dlc package, in the case of Infamous: First Light. Why did I even trade up if my last-gen console has more benefits than my ps4? How does Rogue Legacy get cross-platform, but not something like Thief or Yakuza? C’mon, let’s recap: Steamworld Dig, Binding of Isaac, and now Rogue Legacy. Can we get a decent game for a change, instead of ports from Steam or Nintendo 3DS?
So i downloaded thief, and once installing it got to 14% and then an error occurred, this happened 3 times, and yes each time i re-downloaded the 6000 mb and this is still happening. any tips?

if your using wifi …dont.
if not try this little trick i use, start the DL and then put the PS3 in stand by, via Users/Turn Off System it will ask if you want to turn off automatically after install select yes and go do something else for awhile, upon returning once after the console turns off (green light to red) turn it back on and it should be installed correctly… this happens sometimes with multitasking… gaming while DL, or having multiple DLs pending.

i cant beleve that yakuza 4 is 22 gb and thief was 6 gb but it was worth it
