Simply use the promotion code for a one-time 10% discount off eligible items in a total cart purchase in PlayStation Store on PS3, PS4 or the web/mobile at store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com. Some exclusions do apply, including subscriptions for PS Plus, Music Unlimited, PS Now and rental video content (update: game preorders are also excluded from this promotion, we apologize for the confusion). The code must be redeemed at checkout and discounted transaction completed before 1/26/15 at 9:00 AM.

@snarls200, I meant a deadline of when and where we could use it, I didnt mean that there shouldn’t be an expiration date. I’m not that unrealistic. :p
When will they send the discount code
@ThumbsofSteel it’s not necessarily browser specific. It’s all about how the page is designed. For example, except on the rare occasion where my website glitches out… returning to previous page retains text regardless of browser.
It’s only on a few websites I’ve run into this problem on IE, and it frustrates me to no end when it happens because I know it’s possible to fix, if you simply design your website with all major browsers in mind.

@Kishnabe Oh, he wasn’t trying to hack into my account, he was trying to accuse me and get it banned because I told him to learn to appreciate last week’s sale. He took offense of that and decided to report me just because I said that to him. I would do that, but grief reporting never works most of the time and there’s a risk of doing so. Also, there’s no option to report such a thing by grief reporting. I just don’t want him to make me look bad in front of Sony and make me lose all my PSN purchases because of a minor thing.
So where do get the code? Do we come back to this page? Or will we get some kind of message when we go into the playstation store when the promotion starts?

How can a PS Plus subscription bought off the Store not be a PS Store purchase? You guys don’t release the Driveclub PS Plus Edition to get game sales, then you have a three day 10 percent discount on terribly overpriced digital content that may or may not work depending on the state of PSN servers that day, which is the exact reason you are giving the discount?

You guys are so freaking mediocre. My PSN PLUS ran out today, I called to get my 5 days extension, and guess what, NO ONE CAN HELP ME. Everyone was rude about it too, not one freaking person could provide me with more information than “sorry we can’t do nothing”.
Well I can do something, I can trade my console and go to the competition. I assure you Sony, you keep this attitude with your clients, and each one of them will go the way I go!!!!
This is all they are doing, they could least throw in 20$ in everyones wallet!

Honestly, I am very disappointed by the fact that this code only works for a limited time. It means that I may not be able to take advantage of it in time and therefore may not receive your compensation. I also looked over to the update for the store to find what deals I had missed yesterday to see if I could use the 10% discount with a pre-existing sale. Unfortunely, none of the games currently interest me. This has been a sad visit to the blog to start my morning.

I love how they initially said that the code also works on pre-orders and even confirmed it in the comments (e.g. http://i.imgur.com/7LufkKP.png ) and now they exclude them. Oh well, then I won’t have any use for the code
This is now a terrible promotion. Only can use it once over a 3 day period and all preorders have been removed from it. Should have just done away with the 10% completely now. Especially since your own president tweeted “now would be a good time to preorder some games with the 10% off deal”. Shameful.

Last time the PSN was dead for an extended period of time they gave us 2 free ps3 games. Now we get a restricted piddly discount. Walmart, Amazon, and Newegg often sell PS stuff for 10% off already….what a joke.

Great, a code I won’t be able to use as I don’t get paid until the 28th. Right after Xmas u give us a code we can only use for 3 days before the end of the month when most people get paid! I’d rather we weren’t given this discount as i feel like sony gave me a bone and just swiped it away again, cheers!
