The subscription service for PlayStation Now is available starting today, providing instant and unlimited access to a catalog of more than 100 PS3 games. The subscription service is currently available on PS4 across North America and two subscription plans are offered: one month for $19.99 or a three-month package for $44.99 (about $15 per month). Can anyone confirm if the Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank Collections are cross buy compatible between PS3 and Vita?
I won’t be purchasing a PS4 until I can transfer my PSN library across from my PS3, seems like ball has been dropped recently. Your PSNOW service is one step closer to always online DRM. But you don’t even have the online infrastructure to support this.
Remember your policy against all this DRM netted you all these console sales for this gen, I can see the dark side coming out now though.
Thise eyes need to open again. It doesnt take a “major” in business to make a smart decision.
You should be offering an option to “purchase” PS1/PS2/PSN games alongside the “rental” service.
Theres no way I amongst thousands of others will rent an inferior experience.

Actually, there is not a single dynamic theme available for Canadians at the moment. Canada is always being screwed by Sony.
How can we distinguish between platforms when you place everything in one list? At least put on separate lists per console.
I can’t believe that after being hacked multiple times in multiple ways and losing credit card information that this service DEMANDS that you give them a CC # to even set up the free trial. No other service that is offered demands your credit card. PS+, standard purchases, the music service, the movie service ALL of them can be paid with funds from your wallet that can be added via pay pal or PS card.
But PS Now DEMANDS you put your financial well being into the hands of a company that just recently had CC# stolen from it, and it wasn’t the first time.
and when you contact customer service about it, their response was “too bad, so sad. Go write it in a blog.”
I can’t believe that the protection and safeguarding of their customers financial well being means so little to the company. Especially since they just lost a ton of numbers of customers.
I would love to give this service a shot, but if it means putting my CC# into the hands of a company that clearly doesn’t care if i lose it or not. I’ll have to pass

not sure if you found out yet but yes, if you activate the ps now subscription on the ps4, you can then go to the vita and all the sub games will show up as playable.
played a little bioshock infinite and dirt showdown on the vita last night. worked pretty slick. was worried i would have to wait until they officially supported the vita but thankfully not.

Can you please explain to your customers why we can purchase, download, and play PS1/PS2 classics on ALL your PlayStation systems that connect to PSN (PSP, Vita, & PS3), EXCEPT for your newest PS4 system? I’m very surprised with how PlayStation NOW performed last night. There was little to no lag, and the image quality looked as good as if it was running on my PS4 natively. Very impressed. The Free Trial has definitely sold me on a subscription.
Im confused? The PS Now subscription is only applicable to the games in that list and not every game on PS Now? I thought it was Netflix for games, but now its like renting the IGC. That deal just got even worse….
Would love to subscribe to PS Now seeing as it’s available in my region but oh no because I created my PSN ID in another country and you can’t seem to work out how to allow people to change their region I can’t.
While I confess to being rather tempted by the first 2 classic Tomb Raider games at ~$6.40 for both, I doubt I’ll be picking up anything this week. Nonetheless, a decent sale.
PS Now: All should pay close attention to the fine print, wherein we learn such glorious truths as “DLC is not compatible for any game ever” and such.

I was hoping for a price drop on all PS1 and PS2 games. Now that would be a great suprise Sony for the 20th year anniversary. Some games have been in the store for atleast several years and haven’t go a sale yet. That’s how you get people willing to spend more money.
Theres a few more PS1 and PSP games i want to grab I want to wait until some really good sales come up. How about a sale on all DLC? I still need to grab the dlc from Drakengard 3, Bioshock Infinite, and the last dlc from Dark Souls 2. Maybe a fighting game sale for all fighters?
The subscription looks awesome. The price seems fair. It’s on par with Gamefly. I didn’t expect Netflix pricing. It takes a lot more computer processing to stream a game than a movie.
My only beef is that it only works on PS4. One thing I love about PSNow is that I can quit a game on my PS4, go out with my Vita, and immediately pick up where I left off. That’s super cool. I don’t like the fact that the subscription only lets me play on PS4.
Fix that, keep expanding the library, and I’m in.

i signed up for the sub plan on m ps4 and when i went to my vita, all the sub games came up as playable. played bioshock infinite and dirt showdown without having to rent them on my vita. it does work, just takes a roundabout way to get there.
Also, could we have some more demos? Many people prefer to try before they buy…and they really do buy what they try.

Well I decided to give to new PS Now set a try before I threw in my 2 cents on the new idea. And I have to say it is a improvement. I like how its now unlimited all you have to do is subscribe to 2 payment plans. (7 day free trial is highly recommended) The game selection is nice. Hope more gets added soon. Nice job Sony this gamer is approved.

I Am Very Happy About PlayStation Now Being Out On PS4. :)
I bought LBP Vita (had LBP Vita on physical before). I have all my stuff, and DLC, and I just got the DLC I’m missing but I didn’t get entirely. To be specific, the DC Comics Premium Levels are not appearing at all. I can see I got costumes, but not the levels. Help!!!
SUPER excited about subscription based PS Now. BUT! I was totally disappointed to find I could access all the games! :,( Most of the games I want to play aren’t part of the subscription plan, so I’m kinda of glad you guys offered a trial, lol!
Why can i not use my Mic for chat on game in the playstation now subscription? I played nascar 14 and it wouldn’t bring up my mic? is chat available on the now network?
I was very disappointed that there were no hidden object games available, this is mainly why we were getting the now subscription. Also when playing the games the controllers are super touchy, very hard to play some games because of this. I think we need a patch so the controls sync to normal speed. Other then that i think this will be a good service.
Heres an idea why don’t Sony give us access to the ps3 store from my ps4 so i can play the1500 games i own on there instead of charging me 20 dollars a month for games i already own, i hate greedy corporations. Better yet why don’t you Sony, buy all my PS3 digital copy’s back from me, at market price, that way i can use the money to buy games i can play on my PS4.
So the PS Now theme is not available in Canada? i cannot find it on the store, the webstore shows the theme when i am not logged in, as soon as i login it says “page not found”
I had purchased Gran Turismo PSP, and according to the PS TV compatibility list as well as the Playstation Store, the game is supposed to be compatible with PS TV. But when I try to download the game from the PS store onto my new PS TV, I get an error message stating that the game is not compatible with PS TV. How do we fix this Sony?
A part of me is honestly starting to regret getting the PS4, seriously..
I lost everything in Hurricane Sandy, including consoles, games, memory cards, etc. That being said, I was excited to get the PS4 because I thought that I would have access (at least eventually) to old PSone and PS2 games, but now with the introduction of the Playstation Now, I’m starting to realize something: Sure, they will eventually include games like Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 on there, but we will be forced to either rent them for some crazy price, or continue to pay a ridiculous fee for the PS Now service just to play them; all the while, we won’t actually own those games, they’re still stream rentals.. which is just silly. That’s not what I want at all.
I know what people will say: “So, get a PS3. Problem solved.” No, it won’t be solved.. I want Sony to do what we all know they can do, and that’s make these games available to DOWNLOAD on the PS4 for one price, and then that’s it. I want to own the games once again, not rent them.

So, apparently, I can’t buy a code for a PS Now subscription. I can only subscribe by supplying a credit card. Well, that’s not going to happen. The last time I did that, I had to get a free year of credit monitoring because Sony can’t keep my data safe.
If you start offering download codes for PS Now subscriptions, I’ll give it a try. Otherwise, no thanks.
