i still have not been able to connect to playstation network now since Christmas and this getting out of hand now.

What about the FIFA 15 megapack bonus that I lost due to the PSN issue? It should’ve been redeemed on December 25th and 26th only. Will Sony do something regarding this bonus and any other one there was in other games too?
And what about the 3 days for the PSN Plus service? Will there be an extension for the days we paid and didn’t have service provided?

I’ve spent an insane amount of money on Sony gaming products in the last year. Right now they are making it extremely hard for me to throw anymore money their direction which is unfortunate because I like their products. My PS3 and vita log in fine, but my ps4 is a no-go. Very frustrating as I have the most money invested in it.
Psn, is still down for me and most of my friends on the ps4 now this is total crap that a multi billion dollar company can get hacked by a small group of kids, great job sony, I’m sure the better business bureau will have great reports about your sorry company. Froze up yesterday in Destiny now I can’t log in. Every time i try to log in I get “Lost connection to server (NW-31194-8) . Wants me to sign in but will not let me log in (spins and “Connection to server lost), I tried to reset my Password and the email will not go to my email??? I checked spam and junk folders??? Help!!

This is beyond annoying. I can finally log on but every time i try to access multiplayer it tells me im not connected to psn WTF sony? Down for a 4th day. Then on top of that status says online with some latency issues. Thats complete bull.
I am able to log on my PS3. Still Not able to log on my PS4!! Status says PSN ONLINE and has since late last night. I have been patient thus far, but now I am starting to loose it!!! FIX THIS NOW or CHANGE STATUS FOR PS4 USERS SINCE CLEARLY NOT ALL OF US ARE ABLE TO GAIN ACCESS!!!

You know the main reason I sold my Xbox 360 and bought a PS3 was for the free PSN and blu-ray player. When it was announced that the PS4 would not longer have a free PSN I was on the fence on which console to get. Since I have owned every playstation console I chose to remain loyal to Sony expecting the new PSN to not have asany issues as the free network had in the past. It is very dissappointing how poorly the network has been running the past year, it almost seems worse than the old network. I pay $50 a year and I’m not regretting that choice because the PSN is crucial for the full PS4 experience I just hope you guys get it together and prevent this stuff happening so often in the future. Oh and btw I still can’t connect to the PSN, I’m getting error code NW-31194-8 and have tried the trouble shooting recommendations for that code
can you give us better information about when it going to be back up and running as mine is still down and has been since Christmas day but all i keep getting is restart my internet and PS4 but its nothing to do with my internet as it connects to my internet just wont let my sign in to PSN on PS4
Nope, Its not back again for me, if some people are back online i am not one of them, Is there anything you want us to do to solve the issue from our end ?
What i did
From wireless to Eithernet cable,
Restarted my device 200 million times.
Restarted my router 300 million times and everytime i waited 10 minutes before getting it back on.
errors i get NW-31194-8.
Playstation updated to the latest version.
My router firmware is updated to the latest version.

Guys try this if you can’t get on PSN I got this from Yahoo and it work for me
If your PSN is still down, follow these steps:
Boot up your PlayStation 4.
Go to “settings.”
Go to “network.”
Select “custom.”
In this menu, leave everything as default except MTU.
Change MTU settings to “1473.”
Save your changes.
Reboot your PS4.
Now this might not work for everyone they said but it work for me

This is sony’s fault they knew this was coming and did nothing. Not only that got rid of security team to save money figured it would be cheaper to suffer after affects then 2 deal with before it happened. Hope those savings were worth it!
I’m a fifa guy so I’m back online but ok I only could see my friends (whos online) make any sense ??? I still cannot game with others only it keeps saying (SONY ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK ACCOUNT must be signed in) I could see who’s online but I’m pretty sure alot of us cnt game still :( I understand Sony I’ve been a ps guy since I could remember. I jst hate the comments some of us put out. Especially if its ur first time buying a ps4 I’m tired of ppl leaving comments on how it’s there first time buying a ps4 and they can’t get online since Christmas eve they should be rewarded shut up ……… Seriously ……….? Impossible to logon with PS4… On PS3 we can logon to PSN, may be because your firewalls are still blocking range of IP address on Port UDP 9308…
Even Playstation.com isn’t working correctly; and let’s not talk about community.eu.playstation.com… It is overcharged, one page request/10 is working… Most of the time we get a blank page…
Well, I understand that the DDoS attack was not Sonys fault. But I am having a bit trouble understanding why it takes almost a week to get the network running again, but hey, I am no expert.
But to me the whole situation is frustrating in general. I’ve got my PS 4 right after release and one year later the whole thing is one huge letdown to me. So far I really have no incentive to use my PS 4 and not my PC. There were TWO exclusives I actually enjoyed a lot to play, namely InFamous: Second Son and Destiny. Every other title that is available for both, PS 4 and PC (and they all are), looks and runs way better on PC (this is not console bashing, but just my observation).
I am not asking for a refund or compensation, I just want you to understand that I am incredibly frustrated and WHY that is. Because so far the PS 4 is a huge letdown to me, PS+ was a letdown to me this year and because I am under the impression that Sony is not able to handle its hardware and does a terrible job when it comes to communication.
If you can’t connect try this. It’s something I found on Twitter yesterday, and it worked for me as well as pretty much everyone else who has tried it. Go to Settings–Network–Set up Connection. Choose Custom and select your connection as normal. Keep the rest of the internet options as they are by default EXCEPT for the MTU setting, change it from the default 1500 to 1473. Finish setup and test connection, you should be on PSN then. I did this last night and have maintained a fast, stable connection. Hope this helps anyone who may still have connection problems.
I still can not login in I need help
A Playstation rep on the phone yesterday told me I would be able to play online yesterday. where they just telling whoever that yesterday because I don’t appreciate being lied to. (as if anyone does) I cannot log in to psn still today. after sony fixes this problem in whole what are they going to do to compensate playstation owners for all this frustration? I think three months of playstation plus for everyone that bought a playstation previous of this problem being fixed would be a great compensation. (just a suggestion) I would also appreciate in the future if sony reps would just tell me that they don’t know when the problem is going to be fixed, instead of tell me its going to be that same day, what hoping that I live in a region where its going to be fixed.

This SUCKS. Can not sign into PSN or my account
As many of you, I also have NOT been able to get on with my PS4 (PS3 has been fine for a while). Based on a previous suggestion here, I forced my MTU to 1400 and power cycled the PS4. I am now online! I manage networks for a living and the fact that this works indicates that there is still a network issue at play here. Could be poorly configured routers or even a problem with routing on the Internet that is outside of Sony’s control. Either way, their PSN is UP is misleading at best. Time for them to really spend some time and money on their network. Redundancy and resiliency is not easy or cheap. If I was a new PS4 owner, it would be a day after return for sure. I hope this doesn’t kill them.
Now that the PSN is back up, lets talk about compensation.
Even though it says everything is online and running. I still cannot access the site http://www.playstation.com/en-us/inside-playstation/events/2014/ps4-4games1pick/ to redeem my Free Game from my recent PS4 purchase. What gives?
