The multiplayer does not work at all – which is the whole point of a CCG! Ubisoft has made no efforts to fix it even though it came out in August.
Just a warning because buying it will be a waste of your money!
Any chance you guys could be a little more proactive about getting actually-game-related avatars on the store from games besides random Japanese female-centric games? I love my Raiden avatar but I’d like a change, and there’s nothing on the entire avatar store that appeals to me. Why don’t we have Demon’s Souls avatars, since Sony owns the IP? Hell, I’d take some pre-release Bloodborne ones, too.
Basically, it’s just annoying for the past few weeks to see all of these random avatars that are dumb sayings or generic drawings of zombies or whatever. Please add more game-related ones.
None of the new releases work for me. Getting an “Unknown Error has occurred” message. I have 25$ in my wallet. I cannot buy Rock Boshers or Suikoden 2. I can purchase old games just fine. Just nothing this week. I’m logged in. I’ve tried on PC, Vita and PS4 with no success. Please fix.

I have been trying to buy Suikoden 2 since 1pm EST yesterday! Every time I try to add it to cart I get an error message. I have tried on my PS3, my PS Vita, my PC at home, my PC at work and my phone! This is ridiculous. Acknowledge the problem at least!!!

The official AskPlaystation account responded with this to the Suikoden II errors:
“Please disconnect your router and console from the power source for ~3 minutes, reconnect them and try again.”
I know it seems generic, but it actually helps. The problem is fixed on the store’s front so there’s something in the console’s cache and/or your network configuration that gives that error.
I tried what MrPonuraski suggested. Still no luck on the minecraft dlc. I got the minecraft update this morning and the trials for both the steampunk and skyrim mashup work, downloading them still isn’t working though. Customer service isn’t helpful. I’m almost at the point of contacting the Federal Trade Commission seeing to how i’m unable to access content I have purchased.

Now I have three ways in which i can theoretically purchase Suikoden2 but I can’t. First I get an error when I try to buy the game through my PS3. I also get an error when trying to purchase the game on my PC, and lastly the Vita, where it doesn’t even exist in the Vita store, but has been clearly advertised that the game is playable on the Vita.
Now I followed your advice and it didn’t work, but I appreciate and commend you for the effort, but I wish people could be more accountable for mistakes made. Like who runs the PSN store, almost every week there’s screw ups, and I really don’t think that this time its due to North Korea, just blatant incompetence.
So it is not letting me get the discounted price on any of the weekly sale games. It’s also not letting me buy Gaina twisted sisters on PS4 or Suikoden 2. So do you know when I am bug fixes going to be out in the wet people actually buy these. It’s bugged in all of my different PlayStation systems including the online store.
I went to the library and tried to buy them with my tablet and it didn’t work. It is not giving me any of the sale discounts or letting me buy the new games.
i downloaded both minecraft skyrim and steampunk packs for the ps3 and none of them are working…anyone else have this problem?
I am glad that I purchased Suikoden 2 when the price was listed at $5.99, but I’d still have been a buyer at $10. Despite the attitude displayed in some of the comments, I do find it encouraging that there are so many people purchasing this game, as customers supporting the franchise may sway Konami on further work on the series.
I bought the Minecraft steampunk texture pack yesterday and its not even downloading!!! SONY your lack of customer support here is rather disturbing to say the least. I’m not rebooting my ps3 or reformating my HDD for $1 that’s retarded, just fix the issue so my son will get off my back about your screw up.

K I’ve been reading up on playing Suikoden II on PSP and it’s awfully dumb what sony is doing. It was originally downloadable from the PSP download list (and store for some) but not anymore and the description originally had it playable for PS3 PSP and Vita but it’s been changed to not include PSP. Wow…. like what possible reason is there to do this, it’s completely compatible yet they removed the ability. Do these clowns want us to rush out to buy a Vita to play it on the go?
I will laugh when Trails in the Sky SC releases but only playable on Vita despite being a PSP game.
Oh well, I paid $10 to support the release but I doubt they’ll change their quiet stance on this. I own the rights to the digital game so… whatever Sony :P
@Asphaltum: It is very strange you have those problems. For example, Suikoden II *is* in the Vita store, at least in the US one. Are you from Canada? Maybe there are errors in the Canadian PS store. If you’re using the US store, then it sounds as if your browser keeps using old, cached data for the PS store. If others can buy it, then the store side is fixed. There is something between the store and you, which is either your hardware, software (like a browser using old cached data) or your ISP.
when will suikoden 1 and 2 be able to be played on the ps tv?
Can’t add Suikoden 2 to my cart either, so I asked support. Here’s the answer I got:

I hate that it has had to come to this but should anyone wish to file a complaint against sony for taking our money and not giving us our purchased digital content should contact the federal trade commission and file under under internet services/online stores https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1
Had no problems adding Suikoden II to my cart, but I won’t buy it at this time since I’m saving up for holiday sales. Only just checking if I’m unable to as well and it seems I’m fine.
Dear mods, I’ve screencapped this page, the fact that my comments are awaiting moderation while people who posted after me were put up on the site and will be including it in my complaint with the ftc. Sorry you didn’t post my two earlier posts. I’ve been informing people with the same problem of being unable to download our purchased content to filing a complaint with the ftc on other sites than this as well.

Just got ooff the phone with sony customer service and they seem just as confused about the whole situation as we are. At one point “Alex” from CS (sounded more like a Hadji) told me that this is mojang’s fault, some glitch on their end. Mojang has nothing to do with the ps3 4 or vita. It is ported by 4jstudios. Then went on to tell me that destiny’s latest dlc is also having problems, I felt like asking him if that was mojang’s fault as well but didn’t. He said that they are working on it but he had no idea when it would be fixed.

Just logged in to express…. THANK you for Suikoden II. I am disappointed that it is no longer listed for the PSP. I really wanted to play it there. :( But, I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth, either. Thank you.

I FINALLY got Suikoden to appear on my Vita shop, and it listed Vita compatibility. I made the purchase, and the game immediately showed up in my downloads list as NOT AVAILABLE FOR MY SYSTEM. I don’t have a PS3 to transfer it from…this is such a load of crap…
@191: I’m in your same position. I downloaded Suikoden through the PC. Suikoden is currrently on my download list, and while the PS Store’s webpage says “Yep Vita Compatible” my vita’s download list is saying “Nope Not For This System”
When I contacted CS they basically just said they have no idea what’s going on and it’s a developer issue, (I was like, wait what LOL you guys released the broken gameI)
feel like I am being trolled, as Suikoden is in my download list but not downloadable.
Don’t even get me started on II. Can’t even put that in the cart as I get an error every time. Ugh /facepalm

Isn’t the PSP dead though? Call me ignorant but the PSP released nearly 10 years ago. I’m under the impression that Sony’s under no obligation to support it any longer…soo…..why not get a vita? lol
i purchased the minecraft texture packs and it says i purchased it but when i try to download it. it doesnt download and it says nothing is available please help i contacted all your supports and nothing works i wasted $4:98 for two packs
Sony, seriously, fix the Suikoden II issues. Everything is in your court. It has nothing to do with Konami. Fix the PS Store bugs, and bring back the PSP flag for Suikoden II. Don’t even think you will boost the Vita sales by blocking Suikoden II for PSP. You won’t, but this wonderful JRPG will get better sales if you bring the PSP flag back for it. It’s compatible so why block it? There’s no reasons to do so! You can’t block something like that just because you feel like it. People with PS3s and PSPs have the right to copy Suikoden II to their PSPs since this PS1C is compatible with PSP. Stop doing black PR for yourself, please.
Seems the PSN issues that blocked people from buying Suikoden II are fixed now. Better late than never. I hope more people will get this piece of gaming history now.
All that’s left if to bring back the PSP flag, Sony.
Woohoo, the download queues for Suikoden 1 and 2 to Vita from the PC store are working :D Thanks Sony. Now to get it to let me renew my PS+ account… 1 hurdle at a time.
I just saw a confirmation from Konami that they didn’t block PSP. In other words, Sony itself purposefully blocked PSP users from getting Suikoden II, which is outrageous from a moral standpoint. Sony, I ask you to reconsider that idiotic decision. Bring back the PSP flag. Let people pick on which platform they want to play. Don’t artificially block PSP because you wrongfully think PSP steals Vita’s sales. If somebody wants a Vita for Suikoden, they will buy it. Don’t try to force this.
please make Suikoden II playable on the psp, sony.
What a joke. The Vita store here in Canada finally shows the new releases from Tuesday. Who’s running PSN here in Canada. What a mess. PsN support saying to disconnect your router to fix the problem. Glad you guys are still hiring the best and brightest.
